Chaptre 102. Evacuation

The ten men outside the old warehouse were already preparing to leave. They were only assigned to take the pregnant woman there and make sure Eleanor's son came. Now everything is done and their contract is done.

Two off road cars that were prepared for the heavy terrain through the forest roads were already waiting to take them away. But one by one the men fell with their chests shot. The rest of them ran for cover behind the body of the car, but the place was like it had been surrounded, any direction still visible to the snipers who within seconds finished off the ten men.

The man who was watching the attack narrowed and waited, seeing if there were any more men coming out of the warehouse. He galloped as soon as he received Alex's call saying the coordinates of Reggie's place had been found.

He left with the fried team that Alex had prepared. Derek was already taking care of everything there when Alex and Mike arrived.

Mike is about to run towards the warehouse when Derek suddenly blocks him.

"Don't Mike! We'll go in first. You don't use any security, there's no guarantee there's no more Eleanor people in there..."

Mike gulped, trying his hardest to hold his leg to stay on the spot. Derek and his team approached. The screams of the women inside made them barge with guns ready to fire.

Eleanor Montaque lying on the hard ground of the barn seemed to be pushing her son's body with all her might, Lucius' body slammed into the ground with a knife stuck in the abdomen. Blood seemed to be drenching Lucius' shirt which had changed color to red.

The consecutive shots directed at Eleanor's body then not only came from Derek's weapon, but several teams next to him shot along. The mad woman widened her gaze towards the group of people who had come before finally falling down and exhaling her last breath.

Mike ran over and stared at Lucius and Regina who were already lying covered in blood and unconscious. His knees were trembling and his face paled.

"Thank you Brother! Strengthen yourselves! We need to get him to Barkley!" derek's screams make Mike immediately grab Reggie into his arm and hold him.

"Please Honey's...You have to hold on...Please." Mike spoke between his tears that had flowed without him noticing.

One Black Hawk unit had already landed in the field in front of the warehouse. A striped man helps Mike climb aboard the helicopter, with Derek and Alex taking Lucius.

"Please...Please Honey, you hear me, right? you must be strong.for me.for our baby....Please."

Mike didn't stop whispering on their way. Derek stared pushyly at the man, anxiety ravaged him, Lucius and Regina looked increasingly pale. Alex didn't seem to have moved his hand from Lucius' neck. Make sure the man doesn't leave them....

Two teams of doctors had been prepared by Barkley's doctor when they arrived. A surgical team to treat Lucius and a gynecological obstetric team to immediately treat Regina.

Both were taken to the surgery area. A female doctor comes to Mike accompanied by Barkley's doctor.

"Ak...I'm her husband" Mike replied in a hoarse voice. He almost had difficulty speaking due to the condition of his throat and mouth are dry.

"Sir...I need to have an operation right away and I need your approval. If you see the amount of bleeding that your wife is experiencing, then I might consider a hysterectomy* later after I remove your baby. If I can't cope with the bleeding, I'm asking your permission.the uterus will be removed..."

Derek and Alex closed their eyes and rubbed their faces at the doctor's quick explanation.

"This is necessary if later the bleeding does not stop Mike, to save Regina's life...We have to be quick." Barkley's doctor's remark made Mike nod repeatedly. Like without life he followed when guided to a table and signed all the papers that the nurse presented in front of him. After he stood up and returned to the front door of the operating room, Barkley's doctor and the woman's doctor had disappeared, entering the operating room. Mike's knees were shaking and he fell to the floor.

"Brothers!" Derek moved and held Mike's shoulders sitting on his knees on the floor.

"Tell me the three of them will be fine Derek.please.please tell me they'll be fine...." mike's tears flowed even though the sobbing heard from the man was very slow, but still sounded very bitter in the ears of Derek and Alex.

Derek hugged Mike's shoulder from behind. Leaning his forehead to the shoulder of the man he had considered brother and could not say anything, his eyes watering, he could only chant a prayer in his heart so that everything would be as good as Mike wanted.

Alex turned his head and threw his face away from the sight of the two men who made his eyes glaze over. He rarely prayed, but now he chants prayer wholeheartedly and soulfully. Save the three of them, Lord...
