Chapters 78. Bruised part 2

Reggie runs over to see Amy walking down the aisle of the maternity hospital with Eve.

Amy smiled widely and spread her arms to welcome Reggie.

"Oh, thank goodness. You can come, I want you to be here. "

They hugged briefly before Amy frowned again.

"What's wrong?" ask Reggie to worry.

"Oh, he's contracting. Its alright. That's normal." Eve smiled as she held Amy's arm.

"Come, we just take a walk, I feel the pain is a little less if taken walking." Amy pulls Eve and Reggie's arm.

Lucius who was still standing near there immediately stepped aside when he saw the three women going past him.

"I'll go with him for a walk, brother. You go find Derek" Reggie said as he passed through Lucius. Lucius nodded, not missing Reggie's call calling him brother, he felt very happy when he heard it.

Amy walked slowly while breathing. He will walk faster when the pain comes, then swallow when the pain disappears. When they reached a long chair, Amy immediately sat down.

"Ah, I can finally hide for a while from Derek's sight. He looks like the one who will receive the death penalty. She was pale and frightened when I told her I was going to give birth." Amy leaned back in the chair.

Eve giggled amusedly. "Yes .. and he's getting worse when he sees you frowning."

"I therefore choose to go first from there. ahhhn... hufhhn...." Amy frowned again and tried to catch her breath when her contract returned, Reggie sitting next to her looked pale and repeatedly gulped.

After easing up, Amy looked at Reggie and patted her shoulder with a smile. "Hey, I'm fine. It's normal."

Reggie jumped up and groaned as he felt a pat on his shoulder. Amy and Eve looked at him in wonder.

"You why?" ask Eve. Reggie shook his head with a smile, refraining from grimacing because of the pain in the bruise on his shoulder.

"It's okay. I'm just worried" Reggie said.

They sat there for a while until Amy felt the distance of her contract was getting closer. Eve immediately stood up and helped Amy to stand up. He lets Amy walk first and approaches Reggie.

Eve accidentally taps Reggie on the shoulder so that the girl jumps back. Eve pulled Reggie's left arm and raised the sleeve of the shirt she was wearing. The upper arm looks bruised and starts to turn blue. Eve was very sure the bruise spread to Reggie's shoulder that was painful when patted by him.

"Stttt .. I beg you not to say anything, or Amy will start a rampage. She needs to concentrate on the baby." Reggie looked at Eve begging. Eve tightened her molars while squinting at Reggie. He took off Reggie's arm and went back to catch up with Amy.

"She won't just come off ...," said Eve as she passed.

Derek stood up from the chair when he saw Amy coming.

"It looks like I need to go in, so they can check if the opening has made any progress." Amy smiled at Derek who nodded.

"Sorry Amy. I-I'm waiting outside yeah," Reggie said stammered. Amy chuckles.

"I rarely see you pale and frightened. Pftttt ...."

"Don't laugh you're a fucking girl! I'm worried about you!" Reggie murmur.

"I'm doing fine. You're all there for me." Amy again patted Reggie on the shoulder so Reggie frowned and stepped back.

Derek immediately pulled Amy over and tried to smile at everyone in the hallway. He went in and called Eve.

"Nr ...." Derek sees Eve whispering while tiptoeing into Mike's ear. Something made Mike dark. Derek had no idea what the red-haired girl had said.

"Eve, come. We need you."

Eve pats Mike on the shoulder and immediately calls Derek.

"Yes .. yes ...." He followed Derek in and locked the door.

Mike leaning against the wall looked at the pensive Reggie as he looked at the delivery room door. Moments later, the sound of Derek screaming told the doctor to do something so that his wife was not in too much pain. Reggie jumped backwards until his back was leaning against the hospital wall. He looked up and found Mike staring at him.

They were glanced at when Amy's moaning was heard again and Derek's shouting again scolded the medical staff inside there making them shudder. Reggie rubbed his arm that was starting to feel cold.

What the hell is going on in there?

Lucius approached when he saw Reggie repeatedly rubbing his arm and looking uncomfortable.

"Hey ..he will be fine," Lucius said calmly. Reggie looked up and looked into the black eyes of his worried-looking brother. He swallowed and nodded. Not resisting when Lucius stretched out his arms and hugged her.

Mike stopped leaning against the wall and stepped towards the long chair. He sat with his eyes fixed on Lucius, looking coldly. Thousands of insults wanted to be thrown from his mouth at Lucius, but Mike held him back by shaking the molars.

Lucius raised his eyebrows while staring back at the gray-eyed man. Mike's face was like challenging him to a fight. Lucius turned his gaze when he felt Reggie leaning his cheek against his chest and hugging his brother back.

Amy's screams sounded out loud from inside the room inside there. "For God's sake, Derek! I'll kill you if you don't get out of here now!"

A few seconds later the door opened and Eve pushed Derek's large body out.

"Mike! Keep him from coming in! He's a hassle!" Eve closed the door and locked it.

Mike patted the long chair next to him, telling Derek to sit down. Reggie clenched his arms at Lucius as Amy's screams rang out back inside.

"So, I've never given birth. So I can't answer your question." Her brother's words made an amused smile on Reggie's lips.

"Let's wife. Just so you know the answer from your wife later," Reggie said slowly. Lucius sounded a loud snort at Reggie's words.

The sound of a baby crying inside, made Derek stand up and step up to the front door. Derek was seen holding the door with his palm and leaning his forehead there. Moments later Eve emerges from that door and smiles broadly at Derek .

"Let's see your hero, Derek," Eve took along while pulling Derek in. A sigh of relief was heard from the three people waiting outside.

Mike immediately stood up and stared intently at Lucius.

"I want to talk to you both."

"What's wrong?" Reggie let go of his embrace and frowned looking at Mike.

"Where?" asked Lucius in a flat tone.

"Follow me!" Mike went first.

"I'm coming!" reggie. Lucius shook his head.

"You sit here and wait for news from Eve. Don't argue with me!" lucius' orders.

Reggie pouted as Lucius pushed him into a chair, then Lucius left him to follow Mike who was seen turning at the end of the hall.

After arriving in front of an elevator, Mike waited for Lucius who came to him. Mike signaled for them to come in and immediately pressed the elevator button to the ground floor which was the parking lot.

Lucius raised an eyebrow. Where is he taking me?

After arriving at the parking area, Mike looked around. There's no one there.

"I don't think what you want is to talk. Didn't you!?" lucius said as he folded his hands in front of his chest and stood upright with the horses ready to attack.

Mike grunting. "What are you doing Regina!?"

"Whatchu mean? What's your business anyway!?" asked Lucius in wonder.

The answer to that question was a fist that landed on his left cheek violently. Lucius was crushed until his body hit a car behind him. A dry laughter rang out from Lucius' bloody mouth. The left corner of his lips broke due to the force of Mike's punch.

"Ah .. You don't hold it anymore. You did want to hit me from the start, didn't you, Mike?" Lucius chuckled, then stood up with a terrible grin on his face.

"Originally you know, my hands are also itching to hit you!" Lucius moved quickly with clenched hands. He's after Mike's temple. But Mike dodged, until the punch was only about empty air.

The two attack each other, until one day Lucius's soles finally hit Mike's temple. He threw the man to the floor.

Lucius stood astride with his black eyes glistening in satisfaction looking at the strangled Mike and holding his torn temple. The two men adjusted their hunting breaths, Lucius wiping the blood flowing at the corner of his lips while bowing.

"You're just a cowardly man who dares to hit women!" mike taunted while trying to stand up and overcome his head that felt dizzy because of Lucius' kick.

Lucius' eyes flashed again. "What do you mean!?"

"You hit Regina, didn't you!? Eve says her upper arm has a purplish blue bruise all the way to her shoulder! You did it, right!? She lives with you!" said Mike loudly.

"Hit Gina!?" Lucius did not understand.

"The fire must have been caused by a very hard blow! It's on Regina's body!"

Lucius recalled when he had a fight with Gina and pushed his sister over and over again. Gina hit the corner of the table, then slammed onto the floor repeatedly. But Gina did not stop standing back and hugged him while crying. Is the bruise just in the arm? Lucius frowned when his brain answered no. He was sure that his sister's entire body was painful and bruised not only in his arms and shoulders. But Gina did not say a word.

"You're silent. You admit you hit him!" Mike put his fist back in Lucius's face. Lucius could not dodge, now his turn was thrown to the floor. Blood came back from Lucius' mouth. He removed it with his arms and tried to stand by holding on to a large pole supporting the building.

"Stop Mike. We'll continue this another time. I didn't know Gina was hurt. He didn't say anything. I'm taking him to Doctor Lawrence now." Without waiting for Mike's answer, Lucius left the place with a staggered body. His head was dizzy from the harshness of Mike's punch. Lucius got into the elevator and pressed the floor button where he left Regina. He again wiped the blood on the corner of his broken lip.

Lucius tried to tidy up his appearance so as not to look too messy. But the bloodstains on his shirt and the corners of his smashed lips could not hide the fact that he had just had a fistfight with someone.

Mike squinted at the man who eventually disappeared into the elevator. Lucius' reaction showed that he did not know about the bruise on Regina's body.

"Cihh! What a sloppy thing you do, wild cat, so your body turns blue like that." Mike hissed then held a torn wound in his temple. He pulled his hand and saw the bloodstains that made his fingers red.

"We really have to continue next time, Lucius, because I'm not satisfied hitting you, not until you're sprawled and passed out." With that remark Mike stepped towards the elevator to return to the top floor.
