Chapters 2. Morning conversations

Lucius stared at the three men who were chatting casually on the terrace. A gentle breeze blew the leaves of the plant in a large pot that Regina arranged near the chairs lined up on the edge of the terrace. He pulled out a chair and sat down, then looked at his father.

"Dad want to talk to me?" ask Lucius directly.

"really. Did Lance tell you?" Eloy asked her son. Lucius breathed a sigh of relief and immediately nodded. Feeling out of conversations he doesn't want.

"About the winery?"

Eloy nodded and took a deep breath. " The place is abandoned. The young businessman next door to our land contacted me through a lawyer. Offered to buy the estate."

"It's been years that the place wasn't taken care of properly, Dad. It's only natural that if the plantation owner next door is interested, I'm sure he can take better care of it."

"So you agreed to accept the offer?"

"When Lucius? at least take the girl to us first."

Lucius took a deep breath, too much if he wished he would be free from his father.

This time it was Eloy who took a deep breath. Eloy's grim face made Lucius want to comfort her immediately.

Lance gulped at the words of his Master Eloy Sanchez. He looked back at Lucius who was laughing.

You're trying to turn these people's plans on me, Mr. Lucius. But I will not stand still ... Lance said in his heart as he stared intently at the two men who were endlessly chuckling before him. Lucius and Mike.

Mike stopped when he felt Reggie's hand on his shoulder and a brief kiss on his cheek.

"What's so funny, honey? until you laugh so amusedly," asked Regina to her husband who kissed her cheek fondly.
