Chaptre 70. Please wake up, Dad.

Reggie stood beside his father. For a few days he took care of his father. He was not allowed to go home. He slept, ate and bathed in the hospital. Not once did he leave the treatment room.All his needs were met and provided by Lance and Madam.

Reggie took a seat and arranged it next to the bed. He clasped his father's fingers, then kissed the back of the hand that still had no power.

"When are you gonna wake up, Dad? You know .. I'm tired of talking to myself. My sister doesn't want to talk to me at all. His face was cold and a bit awful to look at. So I'm a little scared to get her to talk." Reggie took off the grip on his father's hand and switched to stroking the father's arm.

Lucius who had come and had opened the glass door came to a halt. He stood in the middle of the door with his hands holding the door closed. The sound should stop. Regina had fallen asleep with one side of the cheek pressing against the mattress. Lucius saw his father's finger still moving. He immediately reached out his hand and clasped the fingers. Finally the fingers were silent and Lucius was a little surprised that his father's fingers were retaliating, a weak grasp for a while before finally falling back into Lucius' grasp.

Lucius stared dumbstruckly at the wrinkled fingers in his grasp. He closed his eyes, letting the tears that flowed down the corner of his eyes flow, without Lucius's voice freeing the one burden of life he bore. His father was with Regina.

For months his father lived without a response. Just a slight wobble on the finger when he mentioned Regina's name. Now his father returned his hand. His father knew, Lucius was sure his father knew his daughter was back and now he must be struggling to find a way to wake up from the coma.

"mrs ... Mike ... the bracelet." Regina's reaction made Lucius stop and look at Regina. The eyes were still tightly closed, a sign that Gina was still asleep.

Lucius smiled obliquely with a thought that flashed across his brain. He placed Regina on a prepared sofabed in a corner near the long sofa. Lucius placed the blanket on Regina's chest before returning to her father's side of the bed.

He returned from the office and asked Lance to drive him to the hospital. The doctors gave good news that his father was progressing. Lucius knew it was Regina who gave that effect and spirit to his father.

Lucius again clasped his father's hand, then approached towards the ear well yes it was before speaking.

"The girl lied. He looks just like you. Like I look like you too. He doesn't look like Marinna at all. Awake, Father. Just look at yourself." Lucius felt his father's fingers move in his hand.

"And please .. if you later tell me your decision on where to put the ugly sticker, please don't do it in our cars." Lucius smiled, amused himself at the thought of Regina's ugly sticker stuck to his car. But his gel changed into a sense of surprise, when he felt his father's hand move back to his grasp. This time it was not as weak as it had been, this time Lucius dared to make sure the grasp was strong. Lucius gripped back.

"Yes .. He is really here. I'm not lying. Get up and see for yourself, Father."
