Chaptre 96. Expectants

The usual morning at the Eliazar mansion, the Chef who had gotten used to seeing her Lady was in the kitchen to brew her husband's coffee smiled as the Madam placed the coffee on the mat and tray. The beautiful young mistress smiled at the chef and passed into the mansion.

"Mike! Come downstairs.....Your coffee is ready....!" Reggie shouted, making Leigh who was down the stairs smile at him.

"Master's been down from earlier Madam." Amusedly.

"really?" Reggie stared around, but there was no Mike in the room.

"Master is getting a call. I saw him walking towards the front." Leigh said again. Reggie nodded and immediately went towards the front.

She met Mike who had just returned, her husband was well dressed and holding a cell phone in his hand.

"You asked Lucius to accompany you today?" Mike frowned towards Regina.

"Why didn't you tell me that you wanted to be accompanied by a therapy father? I can drive you." Mike looked at Regina with raised eyebrows.

"I called him because I wanted Lucius to come along once in a while, Mike. So today I asked him to accompany me, he deliberately did not go to the office today. I told him to call you to let you know that he and dad are coming to pick me up. " Regina smiled fondly at her husband.

"Let's drink your coffee and remove the wrinkles on your forehead. Lucius is ready to accompany me and my father. You have to work." Reggie on his tiptoes and kissed Mike's lips. He intends to go to get ready. But her arms were pulled and her body was suddenly in the arms of her husband.

"That little kiss alone? I don't want to, kiss me right." Mike lowered his head and looked at Regina who was laughing amusedly, but his wife's indifference put her lips together and they kissed for a long time and invited a smile from Leigh who was still standing not far from there.

Moments later, Mike finally left. Reggie breathed a sigh of relief. He did ask Lucius to accompany him today. Not only was it for the reason his father wanted Lucius to join him once in a while, but there was a special need that Reggie wanted to do and he did not want Mike to accompany him.

When Lucius' car arrives, Regina sees her brother driving his own car without Lance. Their father was in the back seat. Regina immediately says goodbye to Leigh and gets into the car next to Lucius.

"You made an appointment, didn't you?" Lucius greeted his sister with a question.

"It's been....But we leave after dad finishes "Speak Regina while smiling back where her dad seems to start shaking.

"No.no...You guys go there after driving me to the therapy. I'll be fine." Eloy Sanchez tried to convince her daughter.

Reggie nodded and glanced at Lucius who was just silent and driving the car quietly. After taking the father down and handing him over to the therapist who handled it, the two brothers immediately went to a hospital where Reggie had made an appointment with an obstetrician.

"You look agitated. I think you're overreacting." Cetus Lucius as they descended and began to step towards the doctor's practice.

"I want to check myself. Just wondering if this is normal." Reggie keeps his own anxiety when he sees Amy's belly start to look bigger. Amy is pregnant with her second child, and there are no signs that she will be pregnant. Reggie had a cycle disorder since a long time ago, he used to be late menstruation since before marriage. After marriage he had menstruation once, then did not menstruate again until now. For two months, Reggie had an appointment to see if he was okay.

After meeting the nurse and waiting for about five minutes, Reggie was finally taken into the doctor's office. Nervously he shook hands and sat down in front of the smiling obstetrician welcoming him. Lucius greeted the doctor and sat down next to Reggie.

"I'm Lucette....You can call me Lucy." The doctor smiled again, trying to melt Regina's nervousness.

"You're here to find out if there's a problem in your womb, is that why you're making an appointment? "

Reggie smiled stiffly and nodded. "Ummm.....I have been married for 3 months. I am not pregnant yet. I've heard, if women whose menstrual cycles are irregular are harder to get pregnant."

Doctor Lucette smiled." Hard doesn't mean you can't.....Besides, if you want to know why you haven't been pregnant until now, you should come here with your husband Madam. Lucius rubbed his face over and over again. Regina became amused.

"Oh...Take it easy my brother, you are this handsome and masculine version of my face. There is absolutely no feminine." Then Regina laughed with Dr. Lucette. Lucius smiled when he realized that Dr. Lucette had indirectly removed Regina's nervousness.

"Now can you tell me the last time you had your period?"

"I remember I had my period once since I married the doctor. It's not anymore until now."

"Do you remember the date? You can call me Lucy." Lucette said casually.

"Ummm..because my menstrual date has been irregular since long ago, I do not remember the exact date.....Sorry Lucy....."

Doctor Lucette smiled. " How much blood is it? Did your sanitary napkin get wet?"

Reggie looked embarrassedly at Lucius who was just looking flat expressionlessly.

Reggie nodded and immediately lay on the bed. Lucette's doctor raised Reggie's blouse on the abdomen and slightly lowered her trousers.

After a while the doctor smiled broadly. He shook his head as he kept turning the ultrasound device in Regina's lower abdomen repeatedly.

"Your worries are excessive, madam.....I have to congratulate you. You're pregnant....."

Regina was shocked. Lucius even stood up from the back of his chair to hear Lucette's words.

"It's been almost 3 months.....Maybe about 10 or 11 weeks." Say Lucette again.

"Rap ...But it's not possible I'm still menstruating after.., after I'm married. Even if I get pregnant afterward, my fetal age is at least 8 weeks Lucy...."

"You see this moving and throbbing Mrs Regina? It's your baby's heartbeat...."

Lucette smile. After printing some pictures, he suggested Regina get out of bed and tidy up her equipment.

When Regina calmed down and sat back down, Lucette began to explain." When fertilization occurs, the fertilized egg will implant itself into the uterine wall, this will cause light bleeding, so it will appear spots for several days. Usually this happens before pregnancy is known, so it's often mistaken for menstruation." Lucette is obviously at length.

Reggie nodded repeatedly." But Lucy...I'm not as nauseous and vomiting as other pregnant mothers .."

"Nausea and vomiting are just an uncertain sign of pregnancy, Mrs Regina. One way to ensure pregnancy is to do an ultrasound examination as we just did. You see your baby's heart beating regularly in your womb instead. You are definitely pregnant. Not all mothers experience nausea and vomiting. There are also those who do not, madam. You're one of them."

Reggie's back sobbing in Lucius' arms." Gee whiz...Stop crying!! You're getting emotional!" Lucius exclaimed as he returned to take the tissue that Lucette had handed out.

"Oh...Don't scold me!!" Regina again cried and scowled, making Lucette laugh amusedly at the two brothers.

"Bring this to your husband. Tell him your baby is here ..." Lucette held out the USG drawing sheet to Regina. As Regina only looked in silence and was still shocked by the joyous news, Lucius reached out his hand to take the sheet that Lucette had given.

"Then take this recipe.....Just vitamins to keep your body and baby in your womb...."

Lucius took the recipe paper back. After shaking hands and saying goodbye once more, Lucius let his sister out of Lucette's room while clutching Reggie's still silent shoulder.

They got into the car and started driving towards the therapy spot of Eloy Sanchez. After arriving and walking into the room, Reggie who saw his father sitting in a long chair immediately came to him and hugged him and began to cry. Lucius chuckled when he saw his father becoming worried while patting his daughter's back.

"Oh ..Don't worry about him, Dad. She's just being emotional because she's pregnant with your granddaughter!"

Lucius' statement made Reggie cry even more. Eloy, who was shocked to hear the news, pushed her daughter's shoulder.

"Certainly that?" Ask. Reggie nodded.

"Then why are you crying?" Asked Eloy again in surprise.

"Because I'm so happy dad......I thought there was a problem with my menstrual cycle....But it turns out....."

Eloy smiled broadly. He hugged Regina who kept crying in his arms. Then his hands stretched out behind Regina's back towards Lucius who was still standing. He took his son to sit beside him. Lucius said, He sat beside his father, then could not resist the urge to hug his father and brother who were hugging. Clear liquid flowed in the corner of Eloy Sanchez's eyes without being able to hold it. He cried while hugging his daughter and was hugged by his son.
