Chapters 18. Cold

Reggie woke up and felt very uncomfortable. He had just slept for a while and now his whole body felt very cold. He lifted his head from the bed, straightened his back, and then looked up at the nightstand, looking for a remote to turn off the air conditioning. His eyes went around looking but did not find him.

Reggie glanced at Mike who was still sound asleep with a thick warm blanket covering his body. It would be very comfortable to lie under that blanket. But he couldn't possibly lie next to Mike who Reggie knew didn't wear anything under that blanket.

An idea came out in Reggie's brain. He pulled Mike's blanket over slowly. The blanket was so wide. He could pull it slightly to cover his shoulders and back, without exposing Mike's body.

Mike felt the blanket over his body shift. Something like it has attracted him. He opened his eyes and turned to Reggie. His sleepiness is still very heavy. The girl stopped pulling the blanket when she saw Mike awake.

"You're cold?" Mike touched Reggie's handcuffed hand in his hand. The girl's fingertips felt ice-cold. Mike got up to sit up and looked at Reggie solemnly.

"Get up and sleep, Regina. I swear I won't do anything bad to you."

The girl flinched. Sit still and think about Mike.

"Nothing will happen without your will. We're both tired.don't force your body, Regina."

After thinking a while later, Reggie seemed to rise. He was very cold and wanted to sleep comfortably on the bed and under the covers. He went up and lay under the covers, but as far away from Mike as possible, on the edge of the bed.

Mike let Reggie do it. He was satisfied enough that the girl would go up and lie down on the bed. He took a pillow and put it between them. Make a barrier to Reggie calm down.

The regular breathing coming out of Mike's lungs tells Reggie that the man has fallen asleep again. He smiled looking at the bolster pillow that Mike placed between their bodies.

Reggie felt safe and finally closed his eyes. He quickly fell asleep, comfortable and warm. It felt even to his heart because of Mike's attitude which asserted that he would not behave badly even if they slept next to each other.

Mike woke up after feeling something overpowering his body. Reggie is seen lying face down on his chest.The girl's leg hit Mike's leg. It cringes... Regina even hugged him in a state of sleep.

Squinting at the window Mike knew the sun was peeping. The light broke through on the sidelines of the curtain cloth. Mike wanted to move his achy body, but was afraid Reggie would wake up if he started moving.

Mike grinned, consoled at the thought of the girl waking up and realizing that the bolster pillow between them had gone somewhere. Then they slept with Reggie's body on his chest. Mike did not move from his initial position on the bed. He was still lying in the same place, on his back as when they were about to go to sleep. Mike had no idea who got rid of the pillow he had placed between them. But for sure Reggie has shifted away from where it was originally on the edge of the mattress.

I hold my word not to touch you, Regina. Even if we embrace now then it's your own fault. You're the one who moved here and then, pinned me down. Mike smiled amusedly by his own thoughts.

Sensing Regina's head lying face down on her chest beginning to move, Mike quickly closed his eyes again. Pretend he's still sleeping.

Mike felt the girl's eyes work repeatedly on his skin. The coming consciousness slowly cleared Reggie's confused mind, as his consciousness came back full and knowing where he had put his head to lie down, the girl got up and looked up, looking up, to Mike's face that was still closed, then a sigh of relief escaped from his lips.

Thank goodness Mike was still sleeping. I moved up here unconsciously. Even his body! It's a shame if he wakes up and finds out. I was afraid that he would touch me, but instead I was the one who hugged and even overcame him. He's turned you down enough, Reggie! Don't embarrass yourself again.

Reggie cussed at himself while moving away, but could only go as far as the handcuffs that had tied their hands.

Hufttt .. I forgot the handcuffs.

Reggie sat down on the bed next to Mike, putting his head on both knees which he bent. Looked at Mike's still-covered face and the man's messy hair on the pillow.

Sensing a strong urge to touch the strands of hair, Reggie approached, extending his handcuffed hand. Touching the shiny strands of Mike's hair that look started to be rather long. Reggie stroked that soft palpable hair on his palm.

Unaware of his own actions, Reggie moves to touch Mike's cheeks and jaws with the tips of his fingers.

Your jaw is hard ....

As if not satisfied to touch, Reggie stroked softly Mike's tightly clenched lips. The lips that kissed her several times.

Your lips are soft ....

Reggie suddenly reflected on a hot kiss and Mike's touch on his body while in the kitchen first.

You burned me with passion back then, and then you stopped it all of a sudden. You rejected me .. You made me feel so ashamed.

Reggie looked at Mike's face before pulling his hand. He turned towards the window. Pensively gazed at the light that barged in through the curtain cloth covering the window.

Mike tried hard to keep himself from moving and stayed relaxed. With great difficulty he maintained a sleep-pretending attitude so that Regina would not feel ashamed.

A sense of surprise ensued as the girl began to caress the strands of hair on her head, then the soft fingers began to stroke her jaw and cheeks, making Mike feel like opening his eyes and looking at the girl's expression. Her heart started pounding hard as Regina's touch moved on her lips. A gentle, soulful touch that Mike's heart felt without looking straight because his eyes had to stay closed, pretending to be asleep.

Mike felt the ordeal was very long and would never end. He would almost give up opening his eyes when he felt himself goosebumps under his thick blanket and could no longer maintain a relaxed and pretend attitude. But thankfully the girl finally pulled her hand from Mike's lips.

The silence in the room made Mike no longer able to resist the urge to open his eyes. Slowly he blinked, as if he had just woken up from sleep. He turned his head and found Regina turning towards the window, putting her head on her bent knees.

You're really testing me, Woman. I won't always be a gentleman to you. You better not touch me or you'll feel the consequences. I'm a man who can't give you what you want .. So take care of your hands, so I can also keep my hands.

As if talking to Reggie who was still looking at the window, then as if feeling Mike's gaze, the girl turned and found a pair of gray eyes that had opened and looked at him. The girl smiled normally, as if nothing had happened and they had just woken up from a deep sleep.

"You're awake" he said slowly.

Mike nodded and pretended to yawn while covering his mouth.

I woke up earlier, Regina....
