Chaptre 62. Stay

"Regina, you're home. You come with us home!" Mike said firmly. They did not know what Lucius was going to do, it was not impossible that anger and resentment still reigned in Lucius' heart, there was no guarantee that the man would not hurt Regina.

Reggie shook his head. "No Mike. This time I will stay. I'm not leaving him again."

"But Regina, we don't know what Lucius will do to you. His anger at your mother could still be burning and he might hurt you."

"Stay Mike .. I have to stay." Reggie tried to smile, Mike's worried face making him full.

"You should be mulan." Mike held Reggie's hands together.

"I'll accompany you here whenever you want. But now you have to come with us home."

Reggie looked at Mike with a luster of regret in his eyes. He slowly let go of Mike's hand.

"I'm sorry, but I really can't. I'm gonna stay. I'll face it myself. I'm not gonna run away again, Mike."

Then Reggie turned to Derek. His tears fell and he started to fall back.

"Please go home and tell Amy I'm fine. Please take care of her for me. Say I miss her."

"You can come with me home and say all that right in front of him. She's fidgeting Reggie .. Her pregnancy is getting bigger and she doesn't stop thinking about you. Go home ...." Derek tried to persuade Reggie. His words made Reggie's tears flow more and more, but his determination did not waver. He keeps shaking.

"No. Help me ... Tell him not to worry about me. I'll be fine. Really am. Please, don't let him worry about me continue."

Derek shook his head at Reggie's words.

"That's outside of me, Reggie. You're just his brother. No one can make him stop worrying but you. Let him see you Reggie. Go home."

"No. Don't say that. Amy won't let me go if I go home now. I'll start serving my sentence. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to live quietly. Understand."

Derek and Mike took a deep breath. No one can persuade Reggie. His resolve is round.

"Please promise me you'll call us if you need anything or something to happen to you." Derek patted Reggie on the shoulder who was gritting his nose while nodding.

"Yes" said Reggie. His eyes looked into Mike's eyes and he advanced slowly, stretching out his arms and holding Mike.

"You too .. Stop worrying. I'll be fine. My brother needs me."

Mike closed his eyes and grabbed Reggie. They do not need words, everything has been poured through the close embrace they share.

"Please promise you won't lose. You have to make him listen to you" whispered Mike at the top of Reggie's head.

"Yes ..he must listen to me and most importantly, he must know that I love him ...."

They fell silent before Derek interrupted.

"We're going home, Reggie. You have to take care of yourself."

Reggie and Mike broke away, smiling Reggie replied to Derek.

"Yes. Sure."

Mike turned his head and looked intently at Lance who was still sitting on the floor. Relief was evident on his face when he learned of his non-commitment to not leave the mansion.

"And you're Lance .. don't expect you to breathe a sigh of relief if something happens to her. You're responsible for his safety!" mike was firm.

Lance bowed again.

"I'll take care of him, sir. With my own life."

Mike and Derek nodded in satisfaction at Lance's statement. With a heavy heart Mike stepped his foot into the front yard of the mansion. Towards the car that was waiting. Derek had already entered, Mike followed him and opened the door from the other side of Derek. However he did not enter immediately, he turned his head back towards Reggie who was standing in front of the mansion with messy hair and flushed cheeks .

Mike turned around and stepped quickly towards Reggie who was looking at him in wonder.

Reggie raised an eyebrow as Mike grabbed both sides of his face in the palm of his hand, then he lowered his head and gently kissed Reggie.The shock made Reggie just shut up and widen his eyes.

Mike smacked and menngulum until the coughing sound of Lance standing not far from them made him lift his head.

Reggie looked at Mike's gray eyes on it stunned. Mike wiped the kiss marks on Reggie's lips with his thumb and then lightly kissed again.

"I haven't told you Regina. I missed you ...."

Then Mike let go of his hand, looked at Lance who had lowered his head at a glance before turning back and stepping towards the car. He went in and sat down next to Derek who said nothing.

The car drove off the Sanchez family's Mansion. After a while Derek finally made a sound.

"What was that?" ask Derek.

"Which one?" mike said short. He still turned to the side of the car glass looking at the scenery they passed.

"You kissed her."

"Well, you already know. Why ask?"

"Well .. You and Reggie ...." Derek stopped his words.

"Why me and Reggie?" mike asked, looking at Derek.

"You kissed her suddenly like that ... Don't you see she was surprised?"

Mike chuckles.

"Do I have to ask her permission to kiss?" asked Mike with raised eyebrows.

"Not really. It's just that he looks stunned. Don't let the impression you attack and force your kiss" Derek said in a patronizing tone.

Mike was more and more amused to hear Derek's words.

"Why are you laughing?"

"You got your first kiss from Amy, too, by force, Derek. "

"Ah .. that, you're right too" Derek said with a slanted smile.

"But you're lucky Reggie just kept quiet despite the shock. He didn't kick your crotch" Derek said again with a grin. Remember her bad luck when she forced a kiss on Amy.

Mike nodded, then started laughing.

"Yes .. but you're also lucky your handsome face escaped the longitudinal nail scratches that clawed at your face."

With that, the two men laughed together. The cohesiveness in their voices rubbed off on the driver carrying them, who could not help but smile at his lips when he heard the jokes of his two masters.
