Chapters 97. Stalkers

Lucius drove the car and took his father and sister back to the Sanchez mansion. Leaving Regina there and going again to make up for the prescription that Lucette had given her. He deliberately did not want Regina to come along because there was something he wanted to do.

He stopped in front of a pharmacy and parked his car. Lucius felt a little shudder as he closed the car door. He instinctively circled the region with his gaze. Nothing is strange. People passed by, some cars parked on the side of the road. Lucius turned his head once more, then shook his head and began to step into the pharmacy.

Maybe my feelings...I feel watched....

After redeeming the recipe and pocketing it, Lucius drives towards the path that leads him to the Langton corp building, where he can find Mike. He stopped the car and took a photo of Regina's USG baby and held it and moved out of the car. The valet officer who knew his face immediately welcomed the key he gave.

Lucius stepped into the lobby and headed for a special elevator that would take him straight upstairs. The floor where Derek and Mike's room are.

The employees who saw and looked at him nodded respectfully and returned to their activities. Not feeling surprised by Lucius' arrival to the office who was just wearing casual clothes as if the man had just run out of sightseeing.

After getting to where he was headed, Lucius met the receptionist who told him that Mike was in his room with Derek. Lucius stepped in and saw Derek Langton's eyes sitting with his face pointing towards the entrance looking at his arrival.

"Where have you been dressed like that? You're not working?"

Derek's question made Mike turn around and look around to see who Derek was talking to.

"Lucius? What was? Didn't you drive Dad? Did something happen? Why not call?"

The successive question made Lucius raise both his hands. "O...O.easy...One-one. Let me sit down first."

"Dad's fine...." Lucius answered Mike's question after he sat down comfortably.

"But something happened to Gina ." Further.

Mike frowned and looked at Lucius sharply." What's wrong with Regina?"

Derek shut up and listened. I had no intention of getting out of Mike's office. Intentionally wanted to join the conversation of two men in front of him.

Lucius took out a package of vitamins prescribed by Lucette's doctor and placed it on a table in front of their couch with Regina's baby ultrasound photo sheet.

The two men bowed and looked in wonder. Mike reached out to take a photo of the USG sheet and felt increasingly clueless. Derek took a piece of vitamin tablet and frowned while reading the name listed on the blister pack. Then the two men exchanged wordlessly as if given a warning, Derek took the USG sheet and Mike took the medicine packaging. Mike still did not understand, but Derek widened his eyes stunned.

"It's......." Derek did not continue. Just wait for Lucius to explain it to Mike.

"This what?" Mike asked.

"It's a vitamin for Gina, and this.........Here's an ultrasound image, photos of your baby ......" Lucius kept silent and waited for Mike's reaction to his words. Then suddenly the gray-eyed man laughed out loud, as if very amused by Lucius' words.

"Your joke is so funny Lucius!" He said while still laughing.

"Mike..........." Derek shook his head while scapegoating.

"What.....?" He asked while wiping his eyes which were shedding tears from laughing too much.

"It's serious.........Mike......" Derek stared seriously without the slightest tingling at Mike. Mike turned his head towards Lucius who was also cross-legged looking at him, waiting for his laughter to subside. Mike turned his head over and over again at the two men. Last he swallowed...

"It......Seriously?" Whispers watered. Lucius nodded.

"I just drove her to the gynecologist who did the examination and made sure Regina was pregnant. Gina did not know she was pregnant because she felt her menstrual cycle was problematic long ago. She asked me to come with her for a checkup for fear that there was a problem that caused her not to get pregnant yet. He was very surprised and emotional. Until I brought him home with me, he was still crying."

Hearing Lucius Mike's explanation stood up wanting to go from there to see his wife. But his steps were stopped by Lucius.

"Wait Mike. There is something we need to do about this pregnancy. Related to the doctor's advice."

Mike turned around and sat back down, his face turning worried. "What's wrong? Is there a problem?"

"No. That's not. Gina told the doctor that she had spots that she thought were menstruation in the first month after you were married So the doctor suggested she not walk too far, or stand too long, do not be too tired, eat nutritious intake, get enough rest and should not lift heavy objects." Lucius was content to remember everything.

Mike was silent for a long time, he frowned. " Our room......." Whispers slowly.

"That's what I'm gonna tell you. Regina won't listen to me. He really likes the view of the garden and pool mansion from your room upstairs. He will refuse to move and will argue he will be fine and careful."

Mike nodded at Lucius' words." Youre right.....He's stubborn."

"So I think you should move everything down. Try to still face the mansion garden. No one was left behind, so he had a reason to go upstairs again.

"You go home. I think you should do it now while he's still at Sanchez's mansion. There's a lot you need to do." Derek gave me a suggestion.

"Erland will have one more brother to take care of......" He said in silence.

Regina feels tired and emotional, she wants to meet Mike immediately but does not want to disturb him work. So she decided to go home and wait for her husband at home. Worried, Eloy Sanchez finally decides to come along when Lance will deliver Regina to the Eliazar mansion.

They arrive and frown when they see Mike's car and Lucius' car in the courtyard of the mansion. Regina immediately stepped in. Confused he saw some servants busy moving things from upstairs. Then after looking more clearly at , Regina realized that it was her stuff.

"What's this about? Why did you move it!? Where are you taking them!?" Regina restrains a waitress who immediately retreats and is determined to find a way to escape from Regina. Mike who heard the sound of his wife's screams immediately appeared and descended from the second floor. Reggie would go up and catch up with him but Mike was staring at him fiercely.

"Stop Regina's... We're moving downstairs. So you don't have to go up and down from upstairs."

Regina frowned." Why move! I like the upstairs room! I don't want to!" Then Regina saw Lucius at the end of the stairs, and she understood why Mike was acting like this.

"Sister!! You told her!!"

"Yes....He needs to do this for your safety!"

"Sister!! I'm pregnant, not sick! I'm fine!"

Mike and Lucius looked at each other." I told you that....My guess is right." Lucius said to Mike.

"Yes ...Your estimate didn't miss. He'll be stubborn."

Reggie heard her husband and sister talking as if she wasn't there. He's getting pissed.

"I don't want to move!!" He intended to walk up, but Mike stopped him and held him back.

"Our room is empty Honey. I moved him there..." Mike pointed to a large room overlooking the garden and the pond. Reggie's getting mad.

"I said I'm fine! Why are you listening to him!"

"The color is right and it's best for you right now....." Reggie starts crying when Mike doesn't let him through. He turned around and saw his father and Lance watching the scene.

"Dad........I hate them!" Then Reggie took a quick step towards the side garden. Mike doesn't go after him, he knows Reggie must be heading to the gazebo where he used to sit and relax while reading, one of Reggie's favorite places.

"Everything is done, right....? We're going home...Gina is very bad when she's angry. You face. We go home first."

"He's a little emissional after knowing this good news Mike. Patience with him...." Mr. Eloy smiled at Mike who nodded at his words. Mike escorts his father and brother-in-law until their car disappears outside the mansion before heading back inside and heading towards the side park where Reggie is closing his eyes on the swing of his chair.

"Honey..? " Mike knelt down on the gazebo floor and scooped up Regina's body which looked a bit tired.

"Tell me...You love me?"

Reggie opened his eyes and looked at the pair of gray eyes that were before his eyes.

"Mmmmmm ..." Said muttering.

"Then listen and do my orders Honey...Don't worry me. I beg....." Reggie fell silent, then leaned his head against Mike's chest, which was holding him.

"He really is Mike ...Our baby is growing." Lirih.

Mike hugged his wife's body tightly and then kissed the top of her head.

"Yes.....Thank you for loving me Regina. There's no stopping giving me happiness......."

Lucius felt it again. He glanced at the rearview mirror, nothing strange, then looked towards the front where Lance's car carrying his father drove in front of them.

Lucius deliberately swallowed, distanced his father's car, and let the cars behind him go ahead. Nothing suspicious, nothing stalking ...But why does her feeling feel different and restless. Lucius quickly returned to driving and chased after his father's car, escorting him to the Sanchez mansion safely. Until they entered and were in the protection of the mansion, only then did the feeling of uneasiness he felt disappear.
