Chapters 31. Nightmare part 2's

After waking up from his nightmares, Reggie could not close his eyes again. His eyes stared at the ceiling. Waiting for all the sounds from the next room to stop. I wish Mike had slept well there.

For an hour he lay down, turning his body to the right or left without closing his eyes.

Reggie finally gave up trying to sleep. He got up, hugged his pillow and blanket, walked towards the door. Reggie went out and went to the TV room. He set his pillow on the sofa and laid his body there. After getting a comfortable position, Reggie turns on the TV and starts watching, he adjusts the volume of his voice so that Mike is not disturbed in his bedroom.

Reggie just wanted to hear the sound, so that his anxiety could be lost even though the sound was only from the television. He took a deep breath and thought about carrying out the plan he had made. But making sure someone looks after and protects Amy first is the priority. When Amy is married and happy, then she will go take care of her own problems.

With thoughts swirling in his head and eyes constantly staring at the television, finally the drowsiness unwittingly came to Reggie. His eyes slowly closed with his body curled under the blanket in front of the still-lit TV.

Mike woke up a few hours later, so he heard a voice from the middle room. He woke up and frowned, Is that the sound of TV? He got up and immediately put on his pants. If Reggie is up there watching, Mike won't make the girl hysterical because he's not dressed.

Mike sees the television on and Reggie is seen sleeping on the couch. Mike came closer, pulled down Reggie's sagging blanket and covered it back up to the girl's chest. He sat on the edge of the sofa looking at Reggie's sleeping face.

"Why are you even sleeping here?" Just the sound of the television accompanying Mike's questions, Reggie is fast asleep.

Mike took the remote and turned off the TV. He wrapped Reggie's body in a blanket, then picked up the girl and carried her back to the room. Slowly Mike laid Reggie on the bed, then without being able to resist he kissed the girl's forehead.

"Good night, Wild cat." Mike whispered softly, feeling his heart softly staring at the sleeping Reggie, before finally stepping out of Reggie's room.

"Is that true?" Reggie smiled broadly.

"Yes. I'm taking care of the preparations." Mike looked at Reggie's face, who seemed to be very happy with the news. News Derek has proposed to Amy and is about to marry her.

"Tell me ... Does Derek love Nonaku?" Mike looked at the round black eyes waiting for his answer.

"Stupid question, Regina. Derek wouldn't have tied Amy to the wedding if he didn't love her" Mike said.

"What are you worried about. Amy's getting married, you can trust Derek to take care of her. So just think about yourself. Are you ready to tell me what your problem is?" Mike nailed Reggie's eyes. I wish the girl would tell me her fears and have nightmares every night.

Reggie smiled thankfully. "I'm fine. You've taken good care of Amy, put her grief aside and saved her. There's nothing else I'm worried about."

Mike frowned and took a deep breath, knowing that something was causing Reggie's anxiety. Amy, who is closest to the girl, is very worried and asks Derek to tell Mike to always watch and take care of Reggie.

"Don't you feel like your nightmare is getting worse? You experience it almost every night, until you're afraid to close your eyes. Don't think I don't know you're always out to sleep in front of the TV, so you feel like someone's with you, don't you? Even if it's just the voice of the person from inside the television." Mike's gaze hit him and he knew his analysis was stark when he saw the change in the girl's face.

Reggie just kept quiet, locked his mouth tight. Makes Mike very angry.

"You need to trust others, Regina! Sometimes solving a problem is facing it! Not avoiding it or running away ...."

Reggie is stunned by Mike's words, He does plan to deal with it, but later, after he knows what kind of person he has to face and it won't involve anyone. Just him and his past.

Mike was at a loss for words faced with silence. He stood up and intended to step towards his room.

"That's it. I'm gonna go to bed. You also rest ...." Mike leaves Reggie still sitting motionless on the couch.

After closing the door, Mike was still standing waiting behind the door of his room. He wanted to know if Reggie was moving to go to sleep in his own room. But the quiet sound of the television he heard then made him take a deep breath.

"I'll let you in for now, Wild Cat. Just do what makes you comfortable. But after all the things about Amy and Derek's marriage are over, then your time is up too. I'll force you when you haven't told me yet."

Mike spoke to himself in the silence of his room. He took off all his clothes and thought how he had gotten used to Regina's presence in the apartment, so he always looked for the girl when he came home.
