Chaptre 66. Chain

Reggie felt a moist chill in the dense darkness surrounding him. Slowly he walked down the bars to the right side of the prison. Up to the corner he walked again slowly tracing the dark wall all the way to the inner corner.

Reggie crouched down, then started fumbling around the rough, cold floor of his fingers, then he sat down and leaned against the wall. The cold began to enter through the maid uniform she was wearing. Reggie bends his legs and lays his head on his knees. He closed his eyes and imagined his mother's face. All of his memories with his mother were only outlined living with him until he was 13.

Mother Greta was the last person to be with her mother before she died. Her mother was hit by a car after being discharged from the hospital for saving Greta Sky, who was in shock after receiving news of a medical examination that said she had brain cancer.

Greta was very sad at the time, feeling empty and disoriented because she felt her death was approaching. Crying remembering Amy who was 8 years old and Arthur who he loved so much. Unknowingly Greta walked without direction and a car that was speeding could no longer dodge . Marinna who accompanied Greta to the hospital when it saw and moved reflexes pushed Greta. Greta's body is thrown to the edge, but Marinna is hit and dragged.

Marinna was taken to the hospital with a body full of blood. While still conscious he smiled at Greta who roared while holding her hand.

"Sttt .. don't cry Isabel. I'm not afraid of death, because my Reggie is safe with you. The only one I regret in my life is Isabel .. betraying my son to give life to my daughter. I'll leave my Reggie to you ...."

Mother Greta told Reggie everything. None are covered. Greta Sky battled cancer for seven years before her illness won and she left this world.

Reggie was crying in the dark. She has two mothers in her life. Two mothers who loved him and gave everything. But Lucius had none. Her mother is not a mother. He has a complete family under Arthur Sky, even a close brotherly love with Amy. But Lucius who was in his blood only accepted betrayal. Now the only person close to her brother, their father, Eloy Sanchez .. is lying helplessly in the hospital.

"Whatever you'll do to me, I'll take it. I will bear the pain. I hope I can at least ease your burden ...." Reggie whispered in the dark.

After a while Reggie stopped crying. He closed his eyes and tried to sleep. The cold felt more and more, he began to creep and shiver.

He turned his mind to Mike, The man kissed and kissed him before leaving, slowly Reggie touched his own lips with a smile, then he turned to Amy. How he wanted to see Amy's stomach now must have grown. He was curious baby Amy boy or girl. Thinking that Reggie's heart was warm, he closed his eyes and finally fell asleep with his lips twitching a smile.

The next morning and Elina realizes Reggie is not back and sleeps in the room. After being called by Lord Lucius, his friend disappeared. In haste Elina circulated the view in every corner of the mansion looking for Lance.

"Mr ... Mr. Lance." Elina came with a worried face. Stop Lance carrying a wide canvas bag that looks heavy. The man's face looked very grim.

"What's Elina?"

"Master, where's Reggie? Please tell me. Tell me he's okay."

Lance took a deep breath. "Now he's still fine, Elina."

"Now? Will it be different for tomorrow, sir?" Elina squeezed her apron restlessly.

"I really don't know, Elina. Never mind. Just do your job." Lance will pass leaving Elina.

"Master, wait, I beg you. Tell me where Reggie is now, sir."

"He's locked in a dungeon and I'm sorry Elina, I can't open it for you." Lance passed before the girl asked again. He's headed west wing. His master Lucius' place had been waiting for him to bring things that greatly agitated Lance.

Lance knocked on the door and waited for his master to tell him to come in.

Lucius looked at Lance who was carrying a wide canvas bag. He nodded and pointed to the table, a sign for Lance to put the thing on his desk. Lance put down the canvas bag then opened the zipper that surrounded him. Lance spread out the thick canvas material on the table.

The view of various sharp objects arranged in pouch pockets in various sizes is displayed in front of Lucius. He nodded with satisfaction and grinned.

"Now let's get down. Let's see if Gina we sleep well tonight."

Lucius stood up and began to step away leaving Lance still standing looking at the sharp knives before him. What will his master do with these things, he thought.

"Anyfield!"

The shout made Lance flinch, He immediately turned around and caught up with his master who had already stepped into the underground cell.

The sound of footsteps coming down the stairs outside the incense door was heard by Reggie. He woke up from the cold and could no longer sleep. He did not know if it was morning.

Reggie sat back in the corner and leaned against the wall. He relaxed his body and closed his eyes as if he were asleep.

The iron door opened and Lucius entered followed by Lance behind him.

"Gina?" Lucius frowned seeing Reggie still not moving.

"Gina Hei!" Lucius called even louder. Wiggling as if he had just woken up and frowning from being distracted, Reggie yawned and opened his eyes slowly.

He pretended to be surprised to see Lucius and Lance who had been standing in front of the bars.

"Well .. seems to have no effect on your sleep being confined here and being in the dark, you can still fall into a deep sleep apparently, Gina."

Reggie just kept quiet. Lance began to fidget over what his master would do next.

"Have you got an answer for me, Gina?"

Regina just stared with her mouth locked.

"Where's your mom?"

Silent.

"Lance .. tie him up with those chains! I wonder if he can also sleep in a standing position!"
