Episode 101: Fun With Cassie

The day had been day with the sky still dark and water dripping down to the surface. Cassie and I are still walking together towards a restaurant Cassie chose. Our clothes had been completely dry like walking in the middle of sunny weather. Looking at a restaurant that was getting closer from view, Cassie got excited and stepped quickly to it.

“Come quickly, Gavin!” exclamation Cassie.

“OK!” I answered a little surprised.

Arriving at the restaurant, we also occupied a dining table available for two people. We sat face to face. Soon a waiter approached us. After ordering the food, we waited and chatted.

“You like meat, huh?” manya curious.

“Yah.. If you say like, of course I like. But lately I have rarely eaten meat,” he replied smiling. Then I asked him back. There's a lot I want to know about him.

“Do you only eat certain foods?”

“No, I'm just like ordinary people. Some people even say that I like to eat.”

“Waw... But, thankfully you didn't gain weight, did you?” lontarku joking.

“I'm so lucky! At first I also thought that I would get fat,” said a small laugh.

“Thank God then..” I continued grinning. Now it's time for Cassie to ask me.

“By the way, what's your favorite food?”

“I like very much with fruitful food,” I replied happy. “Especially when the rainy atmosphere like this, it will definitely be more delicious!” i'm excited.

“Wah, right too. I don't think at all,” he said.

“You want to order again?” my many.

“No need, this alone is enough.”

After some time passed, finally the main dish was served at our table. The waiter put down one by one the food and drinks we had ordered earlier. Then I ordered a menu for us to eat at the end of lunch.

“We ordered two angsles, yes,” I told the waiter. Then we can eat the dishes together.

“What did you just order? Angle? I just heard,” asked Cassie curiously. I explained the drink to him.

Angsle is a typical drink that comes from the highland areas on this land. The drink is usually served on a cold night, in order to warm the body. This drink consists of various fillings such as green beans, pieces of bread, peanuts, and others. People also serve it during winter and rainy weather like this. However, the dish can now also be served with ice cubes.

“Wah seems interesting, I can't wait to try it,” said Cassie happily.

We both ate the food together. Sometimes I joke at him and invite him to play bribes. Fortunately, he accepted it and took it as a joke.

“Loh, he's not mad, anyway? Good then... How reckless I was just,” my mind. I took a bite of my food and stuck my hand out at him.

“Aaaaa..” I said to him. He opened his lips and I gave him a mouthful. And now it's Cassie's turn, she's doing the same thing with me.

“Come, Son, open your mouth..” he joked. I smiled holding back the laughter. After I devoured it, soon I choked on it for not chewing it properly. I immediately took my glass and drank it, but I only realized that my drink had run out.

“A—A—Air..” my word is intermittent. Cassie who was a little panicked then gave her drink to me. So I took it and drank it from his straw. Finally my neck was relieved, but Cassie had a slightly red face while looking at me with a shy look. Suddenly I realized something.

“O—Oh yes... Did I just kiss indirectly?” mumbling wondering. Then I turned the glass over with a plain child-like look.

“Thank you very much, Cassie,” I said smile.

“S—Sama-sama..” reply nervous. I resumed my meal, but Cassie remained silent and looked at her glass.

“You're full?” many confusions.

“E—Eh? Oh yes, sorry, sorry..” reply. Then he went back to eating his food.

After our main course was finished, a waiter came back with two glasses of drinks I had ordered earlier.

“Wah... So this is angsle?” cassie suddenly returned cheerful. “Yap!” smiling answers. He took the first bite and tried it.

“Warm…! I really like it!” he smirked happily.

“Thank God you like it.”

Time kept turning and we finished our lunch. I paid for all the food we ordered. Cassie didn't feel bad for me either. Then I did not blame him and calmed him down. He smiled and was very grateful to me. After leaving the restaurant, we walked back aimlessly in the still-rainy weather.

“Let's watch a movie!” get Cassie excited. I accepted the invitation with pleasure.

“Alright, come!” my reply.

Arriving inside the mall I saw my surroundings crowded with people. This place is much bigger compared to the shopping center that I have visited at that time. Finally we arrived at the cinema, the place was filled with visitors. We also bought tickets.

“You want to see what movie?” my many.

“Film I've been waiting for!” his answer was burning while pointing towards the poster. From what I see, it looks like the film is a romance drama genre. Today is the first day the film was released. It all answered the question in my mind that today there are a lot of female visitors.

“Wah, looks like you like it a lot, huh?” i'm hearing.

“Of course! All this time I just read it from the novel, finally made a live action version of it.”

After arriving at the cashier's desk, Cassie booked two tickets and paid for them. I held him and took my wallet. Then he shook his head at me.

“Let me just. You have bought me a lot,” he smiled. After that, we both entered the cinema theater. Fortunately we came when there was a show schedule that was starting soon, so we both did not have to wait. Then we occupy the seat next to each other. I bought popcorn in the cafeteria.

Shortly thereafter the film was shown. Throughout the screening I was silent and focused on watching the show seriously while eating popcorn in the chair. Until finally the film began to enter a phase of conflict and the atmosphere became sad immediately. Unknowingly, I had shed tears, as had Cassie who was sobbing and her clothes had gotten wet to wipe away her tears. After the film ended, we both washed our faces to remove the scars.

“Sadly...” muttered slowly.

“Really, right? Just reading it has made me sad myself on the bed,” reply happy.

We walked around the mall and talked about the movie we had just seen. We often exchange ideas and argue with each other. That way we can understand each other. We ended the conversation with a laugh together. As I walked I saw the entrance and it looked like it was still raining out there. Then there were the voices of people singing and having fun.

“What sound is it?” many wonder.

“Perhaps it came from that karaoke place?” cassie replied doubtfully.

Then we both walked over to the place, and it was true what Cassie said. The sound comes from the people singing in those spaces. Then I invited Cassie to spend time in this place while waiting for the rain to subside.

“How about we book one hour while waiting for rain to subside?”

“Good idea!”

In the room, there are several microphones on the table, a soft sofa, and a wide television screen. I invited Cassie to sing for the first time. Then he sang a pop song with great zeal. I was flabbergasted by her beautiful and sweet voice.

“Good voice... Like famous singers..” I murmured in my heart. After singing the song, I immediately clapped and amazed him.

“You're great, Cassie!” He just smiled and laughed. Then he picked a song and asked me to sing along.

“You know this song, right?”

“Iya, know,” I replied.

“Alright then, let's sing along.”

“Oke.”

We sang duets with him. Tones and rhythms that are mutually unpretentious, making the atmosphere become happy and flowery. I am so happy to sing with him. Cassie was also surprised by my good voice. We sang the song with smiles and happy eyes. A song we finished singing together.

“Your voice is great too. At first glance I like singing with my idol singer.”.

“Yah... That's how... Hehe...” reply pringas-pringis while scratching my head. Then we sang back until the time was up.

After having fun in the mall, we also intend to go out and look for Adelard and Rein. The rain had subsided and the streets were beginning to be fulfilled by the people back. I was shocked after seeing the sky start to darken and the sun had set. Soon we saw a street filled with lights. When we approached it, there was a market along the main road.

“Let's go there, who knows they're there too,” take me.

“OK!” reply pleased. We also walked while looking at the stalls that sell various types of clothes, food, and so on. There are even some rides that are similar to a playground. I am so happy to have such a wonderful day in my life.

“It feels like a date.. I wish I could be happier than this time..”.
