Episode 99: The Man's Game

A sunny morning marks the last day to relax this weekend. The sun had emerged from the horizon and its rays were now entering through the window. The wind that blows slowly blows the cool night air away from the surface. The hot weather made the room warm, while we were all still lying on the carpet and covered in thick blanket.

I woke up from my sleep because my body was angry due to the scorching sun that penetrated the window glass and the blanket that wrapped me. But I can't move at all. Rein and Cassie still hugged me tightly. This is what makes my body hotter. Soon Rein opened his eyes in a semi-conscious state. Staying in front of my face, he greeted me.

“Good morning, Adelard,” throws while yawning.

“P—Morning..” reply me nervously.

“His face is too close,” my murmur panicked in the heart.

At the same time Rein was astonished by an object that stuck in his stomach, but we could not see it because it was covered by a blanket. Rein was confused and asked me.

“Since when is there a bottle inside the blanket?”

“Bottle? I brought nothing,” answered me who was also astonished. Rein tried to feel and take the object that made his stomach hurt due to stress.

“Shortly, I take it first,” he said. A few seconds later, I suddenly became goosebumps when Rein grasped the object.

“Loh, can't be taken? Hugged?” he was confused, and I just fell silent and broke out in a cold sweat. Rein continued to tug at the object tightly. I got up and ran to my room.

“A—A—I forget something!” lontarku. Rein doesn't know what's going on with me. The blanket opened and Rein did not see the object.

“Lost? What was that?” he muttered and then yawned. “Wuah... Instead of dizziness, I better sleep again,” he said dragged and walked to his room while carrying a pillow in his hand. In the meantime, I still did not expect that something had happened to me.

“Gosh! What just happened?” mind restless. “He didn't know it, right?” I continued to wonder to myself.

I continued sleeping on the soft bed in my room. On the other hand, Cassie and Gavin were still lying in the living room. I could finally lie down comfortably. I really enjoyed my sleep this time without any interference from Gavin at all. My sleeping self made me not feel anything going on around me.

Shortly after my eyes closed, I suddenly woke up in a place I did not recognize before, but I felt like I had seen the same place before. I was occupying a mine car alone in the middle of a vast green field. The carriage continued to move following the rail which was only straight like a line. I can't stop him.

“Where else am I?” lontarku wondering. I became even more panicked as the carriage was speeding quite aimlessly. Then there was the voice of a girl similar to what happened back then, but I could not see her figure.

“Old no see..”

With a sense of wonder and fear at the same time, I looked around me.

“You cannot see me.. You have made me angry..”.

Then I became more confused because the statement was not the same, he said softly. “Anged? But you look fine.”

“Looks like I should give you another warning..”.

His statement just made me tremble in fear. “What's my fault?” manya restless.

“Look in front of you.. All this time you have been on the right track... And you are close to your destination..”.

Then a branch of the rail was seen from a distance.

“But everything suddenly changes.. And you chose the wrong path..”.

The carriage that carried me then turned towards the branch of the rail that leads to a dark cave. “K—Where does this car run?” manya panic.

“Adelard..”.

Suddenly my eyes turned white and my ears buzzed quite loudly. Then my eyes opened and I was in my room.

“Thank God, just a dream..” muttered I was relieved. I still don't understand and wonder about the dream that just happened to me.

“What does wrong path mean? I made a mistake?” my mind is confused and anxious. Then Gavin's voice called out to me from outside.

“Adelard! You want to come to the hostel next door, don't you?”

“Yes! I'll be there soon!” sahutku.

I came out of the room and passed through the middle room. Cassie is no longer in the living room. Their tightly closed room made me think that the two of them were resting. Fighting for an entire night made us all exhausted, coupled with a sinister surprise that drained our energy all out.

Arriving there, Gavin and I saw Gandra and all of her housemates gathered in the living room while playing console games. They were playing a battle game that played four players at once. We both approached them and watched their game.

“Siang,” reply smile.

“Wah, it looks exciting. I want to follow them too, dong,” pinta Gavin to them, but they are all focused on beating each other.

“Oh yes, how about the mission yesterday? Smoothly?” ask Gandra curiously.

“All running smoothly. Maybe our relationship is getting closer quickly,” replied Gavin smiling happily.

“Hahaha! You guys are the best!” sahut Rhean entertained.

“Thank God then,” reply Gandra. The game was won by Gandra.

“Yah... I lost again..” blow Icha disappointed.

“It is very difficult to defeat him..” continued Bella, meanwhile Gandra only seemed to hold back his bad taste.

“Just a coincidence, really. Hehe...” Then Gavin who was blazing immediately sat the carpet between them all.

“This, if you want to play,” said Bella while giving the controller in her hand to me, as well as Icha who gave it to Gavin. But Rhean proposed an idea while we were both still here.

We also played a dating simulation game together, even though Gavin held the will because he held the controller. The story presented is increasingly interesting and similar to our current condition. Many times we argue to choose the right response to the scenario, coupled with Bella and Icha who feel the most right because he can understand the feelings of women who are in the game.

After that we continued the game until we forgot the time. We are all getting more and more confused with the stories we tell. Time went on and it was evening. The orange rays of the sun that pierced through the window made us realize that it was night. We decided to save the game and stop it.

“Huft... Tired also play this game...” blow Gavin.

We relax on the couch, while Bella and Icha prepare dinner. Some time later, dinner was ready on the table. We all sat on the chairs at the table and prepared to eat food together.
