Episode 96: Midtown Night Market

The black horizon is illuminated by the radiance of the moon and stars. The streets are stretched straight glitter incandescent lights are yellow orange. The crowd that is visible from end to end makes the atmosphere warm in the middle of a cold night. The sky that is not filled with clouds makes the view clear to outer space.

Rein and I just arrived at the market that night. We're looking for Cassie and Gavin. After a few minutes, they did not meet. Soon enough, a loud sound came from the loudspeakers at the intersection. Then we approached along with the people who were walking in the same direction. A concert hall from a distance.

“In a place like this there is a concert?” lontark.

“A complete once this place,” Continue Rein.

Rein and I watched a music show performed by popular singers. Not infrequently I also sang along with other spectators. The situation broke when a legendary singer took to the stage. I was so happy, so was Rein jumping around in excitement.

I tried to call Cassie, but there was no response from her, and Gavin did not answer my call.

The late days starved my stomach. Coupled with the delicious aromas of the foods that make me tempted. The number of shops lined up made me confused to invite Rein to go to one of the eating places. Then I saw a pretty crowded place to eat. I asked Rein to go there.

Arriving inside, look at the people lining up and lining up at the cashier table. Turns out this place is sort of like a fast food restaurant. We were both in line at one of the lines. While waiting in line I saw a menu board plastered behind the cashier. Just looking at it made me look forward to tasting it.

At the time we were in line, a wallet fell unnoticed by the person in front of us. I took the wallet and gave it to him. The man was in line with a woman, just like me and Rein.

“Excuse me.. Sorry, your wallet fell,” I told him. He also looked towards me. Rein and I were surprised to find out the person.

“Adelard?”

“Loh, it turns out you guys are here?” sahutku.

“Finally met..” said Cassie relieved.

“I think you're home,” Rein told Cassie and Gavin.

“Of course not, where might I miss a chance—” reply Gavin grin but I cut it.

“Ekhem,” my deham to him.

“E—Eh... I mean... Yes! We are having fun, hehehe..” continued Gavin cangar-cengar.

“Think before you talk, dong. Don't slip-ceplos so,” I whispered a little annoyed to him.

“Sorry, sorry,” replies that are still joking. I took a breath with that kind of attitude.

“Then, we order together,” proposes Rein to us.

“OK,” says Gavin.

And then Gavin and I sent orders to Cassie and Rein. Then we both went to occupy a dining table next to the glass. I chose the dining table there because I could see the view clearly. While waiting, Gavin and I chatted with each other.

“So where have you been, Adelard?” ask Gavin curiously.

“What is it?”

“Yah... We overslept there..” replied I held the shame.

“Wah, how friendly you are,” said. Then he asked me again. “Is that all you're aiming for? It rained a long time ago, you know.” I who answered her question made me a little annoyed with her.

“Kan told you that we overslept.”

“Oh yes, yes... I forgot, hehehe...” reply cengengesan. Now it's my turn to ask him.

“How about you? Everything is smooth, right?”

“Of course, everything went very well!” the answer is full of enthusiasm.

“Wah, it looks interesting. Can you tell me?” I asked him, but Cassie and Rein had walked up to us with food on the tray they were carrying.

“Let's go, yeah. All I will tell Gandra and Rhean,” he smiled.

“Alright then,” reply me who also smiled at him.

Cassie and Rein arrived at our table, and he put the tray down and Gavin took the fries. I sat next to Rein, while Gavin and Cassie were in front of us.

“You talk about what? It looks like a hell of a thrill?” ask Rein curiously.

“Hide,” replied Gavin smiling.

“Ayolah.. Not fun, nih,” Reply Rein. Then Cassie asked the two of us with burning curiosity.

“Oh yes, you guys have been anywhere?” Rein and I were a little misbehaved and confused to answer.

“K—We're only to restaurants. Yes, restaurant,” I replied nervously.

“Only restaurant? Then?” he continued asking back.

“We stay there until the rain subsides,” Rein replied smilingly. Hearing his words made me who had panicked to be relieved.

“Luckily he could answer it.. Thank goodness they did not suspect.” I murmured inwardly. Then I asked Cassie the same thing. Cassie became misbehaved and confused.

“E—Eh? Eeeeee... We just went to a few places.” Then he changed the subject. The three of us just smiled at her own panicked manner.

“You've been around in this market?” cassie asked back to the two of us.

“Already, but not entirely. We also had time to watch the concert earlier,” answered I am happy. “If you guys how?” continue many.

“Iya, we have also been around, and we found a good place to visit later,” replied Gavin. But Cassie was amazed by Gavin's statement just now.

“Good place? What place did we find?” Gavin was surprised to hear Cassie's question.

“L—Loh, you didn't see it earlier?” gavin asked back.

“There are a lot of places there, I don't know what place you mean,” Cassie replied.

“Alright, I will show you all later,” he said happily.

We ate the food while chatting casually. I saw the concert stage from a distance. There was a clear singing voice even from inside the room. After our stomachs were filled, we got out of the place to eat and followed Gavin. With joyous excitement, he guided us from the front with great enthusiasm.

“Come, guys. Fast!” excitedness thrown.

“You're having so much fun. Is that as good as that place?” manya curious. Then Gavin came up to me and whispered into my ear.

“Very good for our mission this time.”

“You are indeed the best!” reply him.

We both laughed, while Rein and Cassie only looked at our mannerisms with bewildered faces. We finally got to a place that Gavin wanted to show. The place was filled with quite long queues, and they were all in pairs.

“Well, this is the place!” lontar Gavin smouldering. I was shocked and could not believe what I was seeing.

“Phantom house?”
