Episode 170: First Experience of Skating
The weather warmly welcomed us in the cold. Not long after we put the luggage into the villa, we continued our journey to the ski resort not far from the inn. We boarded a small bus that served the route in the area. During the trip, we captured a lot of panoramic views of the mountains that spread wide with the sparkle of white sand.
“Either why the scenery here is more beautiful than any place I have visited before,” murmured Rein was pleased.
“Weather today is very supportive,” said Bella.
“Badahat yesterday - yesterday a big storm hit this land,” continued Rhean.
“Even called the worst storm of the past decade,” reply Gavin.
“Really? I don't think it's too different from a regular storm,” said Icha of confusion.
“How do we feel it? We just stay in the dormitory,” cetus Gandra.

“Means the bigger the storm hits, the bigger the rainbow stretches,” said Gavin acting smart.

One by one they walked out of the bus. When Cassie stepped down the bus, her leg slipped. I who was in front of him immediately caught him. Thankfully no one was hurt. Gavin and Rein who were looking at felt a little annoyed at what had happened to the both of us.
“Be careful slippery,” I told Cassie.
“Sorry,” reply.
“Ekhem,” snort Rein to us. After that we continued our steps towards the ski area.
Along the path, there is a cable car from a distance. We had to walk for a few minutes to the cable car station. The road we were on was a little slippery so we had to tread with a full-day heart. Frightened Cassie then Gavin swiftly held her hand and helped her step. Rein who saw them immediately wanted to do the same to me, but I didn't know anything about it. Instantly I slipped with my legs open.
“What does the sound of torn pants sound?” I asked who then checked my pants.
“No, maybe that's the sound of your shoes,” Rhean replied.
“Huft... Fortunately my pants are not torn,” my blow is relieved.
“We walk slowly,” Rein said as he stuck his hand out at me. I grabbed it and we joined hands with each other.
“Aduh... There must be an incident first can be sensitized,” chirps Gandra slowly.
“What incident?” many confusions.
“Nothing,” answers.
“I thought you learned a lot with that book,” Rhean told me.
“Hah? My mind is empty hearing your talk,” I said astonished and annoyed at them.
“Forget it, it's time to have fun,” Gavin said as he walked with Cassie past us. A few seconds later he stopped walking and spoke to me.
“Maybe you excelled in school lessons, but this time I will surpass you.”. I became confused and looked like a child thinking about this. We continued walking until we finally arrived at the station. In pairs we took the cable car in turns. I was with Rein side by side on that train.
“Atrocious too, yes.” muttered me slowly.
“You've never been on a cable car like this?” ask Rein not thinking.
“Not yet. I've only ever been on a roofed cable car, not a park bench tied up like this,” I reply.
“Park bench, yes,” he continued.
“True, right?”
“Yah, right hell.”
“You really don't know anything, yes,” Rein smiled.
“Yeah, that's it..” reply me.
After that we all continued our journey to the top by riding the cable car again. Arriving at the top we all gathered and warmed up. I'm already wearing a ski board to be difficult to step. At one point I was unable to balance my body and made me fall into that thick pile of snow. I raised my face that was already filled with white sand.
“Hahaha! You're like a clown!” lontar Bella laughed. Everyone was amused to see me.
“We haven't started yet and you're like this,” Rein said
“Good start,” chirps Gandra.
“Let's start warming up,” Gavin continues on all of us. He led the warm-up and we followed his movement.
Day has entered the day time but the cold still tries to puncture the skin from various directions. Everyone was ready to skate on the path that stretched straight and downhill. I who saw it instantly became frightened and my delusion looked at the trajectory to be very steep. Unknowingly my body trembled for a moment.
“You're okay, right?” ask Rein.
“A—I'll see you guys from here..” I replied.
“Take it easy, the derivative here ramps, kok,” reply calms me down.
“T—But if I fall how?” continue jumpy.
“If it falls yes falls,” he said. I became more and more afraid of hearing his words.
“A—I don't want to fall..” murmured slowly.
“Then, how about we learn from the easiest level first?” said Rein.
“But learn where?” many confusions.
“There is a very sloping downhill path and not too long,” he replied while pointing the direction of the place.
“How? Won't know if you don't try it, right?” coined.
“B—Good...” reply.
My friends had fun skating down the track, while Rein and I went to a short track not far from where we were standing. Arriving there looked like a lot of kids who were learning how to ski just like me. I don't see anyone my age studying there.
“Kids all, yes..” mumbled.
“Finally you do not want to directly learn on the track earlier,” Rein replied.
I was also taught by Rein the basic way to skate using a ski board. He showed his posture while skating. He also taught me how to use a ski. I learned a lot from him and one by one I began to practice it. I can walk like no other.
“At least you can move!” lontar Rein is happy. I tried to brake with a stick but it never stopped. Until finally the ski board I was wearing suddenly caught in the snow and made me fall.
“Aduh!”
“It can also be used to stop,” Rein reply while having a small laugh.
“I don't want it like that!” lontarku annoyed.
I spent an hour learning to ski. I started skating at a moderate pace and then braked it with a ski board at my feet even though in the end I was unable to balance my body and fell. Rein approached me quickly and was pleased with my ability now.
“Wah, you can already do it!”
“Let's just relax, I also often fall down shortly after stopping,” he added.
We went to the first track we visited. Seen from above my friends who skate down the track while turning right and left, much different from me who can only be straight ahead. After arriving below, they accidentally saw me and Rein from a distance. I also waved my hand at them. Before sliding, Rein asked me in a ready position.
“You ready?” I answered him with confidence and enthusiasm.
“I'm ready!”
