Episode 43: The Victory Party
It was a bright day and the sun was right at the tip of our piercing horns. But today it is cooler than the days before. The fallen leaves from the branches flooded the bustling streets. We came home early because today's agenda was only the election of the chairman and vice chairman of OSIS. Freda invited us and Milard to celebrate our victory.
Freda who was walking in a hurry made us all become curious and confused together. I had no idea where he was going to take us.
“Come quickly!” lontar Freda to all of us. Walking this far from school is exhausting. Even Cassie had been panting from exhaustion. I asked Freda to rest for a while.
“Away. Where are we going, oi?” hart asked confused, curious and upset mixed into one.
“Recrets.” he replied smiling cunningly. Hart also breathed. “Huft... Just watch out if it does not match expectations.”
“Quietly... This time you will greatly enjoy it.” reply Freda cengengesan. I was in disbelief because of her suspicious behavior.
A few moments later we continued our journey. Finally we stopped in front of one of the buildings like a shop.
“We're up!” excitedly. “Re—Restaurant?” milard stuttered in confusion.
“Iya. We'll eat!” the answer is burning. “We've gone through hundreds of restaurants but why choose the far?” I am slowly getting upset and tired.
“This is my subscription place. Let's go in!” obviously, he invited us to come inside. “Oh yes, because it's your victory celebration, so you guys who treat, yes.” suddenly in my direction and Cassie suddenly makes me angry. Then I just took a deep breath.
“Luckily today I brought enough money.” mumbled in my heart while looking at the contents of my wallet. They all sat at the dining table. I approached them too. Soon a waiter came to us.
“Yo, Edda!” said the waiter who seemed familiar with Freda.
“Edan?” I asked innocently because I heard him faintly.
“Edda, yes! Edda!” freda towards me.
“There's a lot of. You're birthday?” the waiter asked Freda. “No. We want to celebrate the victory of my friend.” he replied smiling happily.
“You are very familiar with him, yes, Freda.” said Hart calmly. “Of course!” girang reply. “Your school friend first?” ask me to wonder about him. “No. I'm just subscribing here. So I know him.” obviously answered my question. We waited for food to be ready while chatting together.
“Congratulations on the victory of the two of you.” said Milard politely to me and Cassie. I smiled at him. “Thank you.” reply Cassie shy. “Oh yes. Just this time Cassie ate together with us.” cetus Freda realized that. Cassie was embarrassed.
“Colah. Take it easy Cassie!” said Freda. “Greetings, Cassie!” lontar Hart is excited for him. Cassie nodded at him. Before long the waiter came back with the dish on the tray he was carrying. Then the food was served in front of us.
“Please enjoy.” said the waiter then left us. “That's a lot!” cetus Freda was half dead. “Not in the menu all.” said Milard in disbelief while looking at the menu book dishes repeatedly. The dishes so many that filled the table made me uneasy.
“How do I pay for it later.” My mind is in the fog.
We ate together with a warm conversation of friendship. It is not uncommon for laughter to accompany our conversation. This time Cassie could speak to all of us without any shame or awkwardness. I'm glad to see him familiar with them.
“Hahaha! You're funny too, Hart.” Cassie laughed.
“Although sometimes his behavior exceeds that of a fool.” continued Freda added. “Stool once.” Milard. Hart was confused as to how he responded to their words. “Thank you, Cassie.” she said smiling and her face blushing red.
“Wah, whew. The boy was excited to be praised by him.” Freda whispered into Milard's ears, but we were all able to hear him clearly.
“Hei! I also have shameless veins, know!” hart was upset. Meanwhile Cassie laughed off seeing the three of them. I was also happy that he was finally able to interact as usual without any awkwardness accompanying it.
“Little by little you change.” murmured I was happy in my heart.
