Episode 2: Princess of the Wind Library
The bell rang and the break came. I had to tidy up the writing instruments and books that were a little messy on the table. My teacher was still at the teacher's desk in front of the class. But the class atmosphere started to fade. People just went to the cafeteria when they heard the bell ringing.
When I put my book in the bag, there was the sound of people getting up from their seats. The voice was clearly on my right. Cassie with some of her books left the class. Soon I was called by my teacher.
“Adelard, please return this book to the library.”.
“Good, Mr.” reply me while carrying the book.
I rushed to the library. Silence and silence were my first impressions when I was at the door. It's quiet in here. It could even be said that there was no one at all, except the library guards themselves. Then I asked him.
“I want to return the biology book.” I said to him politely.
“Please put it in the 21G closet to the right of the room.” he replied with his busy hand noting the library book loan list. There are some lists that have just been written by him. That means there are people who have just borrowed or returned a book here.
“Ada want to be asked again?” the library guard was confused. “No. Thank you.” I replied to him while looking down then rushed towards the place said by him. It seems that I just daydreamed and thought of something unimportant.
I finally found the closet I was looking for. The size of this room makes me a little tired. I immediately placed the book in the upper closet. When I wanted to put it down with the sound of gasping for breath a woman not far beside me.
I came to him and picked up the book he had. After giving it he just looked down smiling in embarrassment and nodded at me. He doesn't talk though. I was confused by his behavior and asked him.
“You're alone here?” But a word did not come from his lips. I'm the one who's curious looking for a topic to get him to talk at least a word or two. But my efforts have not yielded any results at all.
“My name is Adelard. Greetings know.” I said smiling at him. But again, he still responds the same. He just bowed respectfully and smiled nervously at me. I didn't want this awkward atmosphere to continue and then I parted with it.
“A—I want to go first. If there's anything to tell me. See you.” said I was nervous then left it.
Soon he went to the library table. There were some books I saw in class when he took them. It seems like it is his daily visit. Because there was no need anymore then I went out of the library and went to the cafeteria. But a sense of curiosity continued to appear in my mind towards the mysterious woman.
“Does he have no friends at all?” I was curious in my heart.
