Episode 52: End of Year Festival
The sun began to wake up from the collision, emitting its rays that removed the stretch of fog on the ground, warming the atmosphere from the air of the night that was frozen though not as warm as the previous days. The universe is supporting this great day.
I, the head of OSIS and the one who led the course of this event, came to the school before the sun slices were visible even a little on the horizon. I took the time to arrive early to double-check the preparations. It did not feel like time continued to fall, one by one the people present entered the gate. Then Freda, Hart, and Cassie arrived at the classroom with me alone who had tidied up this room before.
“Halo, Adelard!” lontar Freda spirit.
“Halo. Not usually you walk together,” reply me to them.
“We met each other in front of the gate earlier,” Hart said.
“Since when are you here, Adelard?” cassie asked curiously and worried. I was silent thinking of the right answer.
“Most also just arrived,” chirps Hart calm then help me. “Ya, not long ago,”. “Maybe it's enough. Stay waiting crowded and ready to welcome people,” said Freda dismiss me.
“Alright then. Cassie and I have to go to the OSIS room,” I said smiling as I invited Cassie.
“You didn't enjoy?” tanya Freda looked pitiful to me.
“Making this event run smoothly has become a pleasure for me,” I replied smiling grinning. Hart then spoke briefly to me.
“Wah, unique.”
“Hah? What do you mean?” many confusions.
“Yah. At least your words just comforted me enough,” he replied in a cry. Instantly the atmosphere filled with laughter.
“Already, already. We go first,” I said after a laugh.
“Close if you have time!” lontar Freda was excited and burning. Then Cassie and I left the class. Meanwhile Hart, Freda and other friends are preparing for his class. The two of them who looked happy saw me and Cassie moved away step by step. Then Hart and Freda both continued their conversation.
“Oi, Hart,” cetus Freda.
“What does the enjoyment mean from making this event smooth?” ask Freda curious and confused.
“Entahlah. The important thing is that we must succeed in this event so that he is satisfied,” replied Hart gallantly. Freda scratched her head and was still thinking about the meaning of my words earlier.
“I still don't understand. Satisfied with the hard work? The pleasure felt after fatigue, working hard. Wait, it's not a masochist, is it?” some Freda was anxious and spoke to himself.
“Not. There is one definite answer,” said Hart with confidence.
“Only aliens are able to sense it.”
On the other hand, Cassie and I were getting ready in the OSIS room before the opening of the festival. We both wore custom as a king and queen. After we showed ourselves, a response of admiration and gasp was reflected on their faces.
“Wah.. You two fit perfectly. I'm so jealous of you, Cassie,” praise Emery with her blooming face.
“Good morning, Your Highness,” lontar Eledarn while bowing respectfully like royal honor. Immediately I became embarrassed and lacked confidence.
“Please, Your Majesty. The people have been waiting,” he added back who lived his role, as well as the other committees.
“Already, already... You make me ashamed,” I told them. But the mood has not changed at all. Cassie with her graceful dress now blushed in embarrassment and her face reddish.
“Turn here, Your Majesty,” said Eledarn while showing the way. I was surprised when I looked out of the room. I can't believe what I'm seeing right now.
“E—Eh? Why is it like this?”
