Episode 114: Book & Novels
The sun starts to rise from its peak. Eve wasn't as hot as it was a while ago. There was a crowd of people outside the festival. The visitors who come in droves make a traffic jam here and there. The educational festival was held in the city park area and around it. Fortunately we came from the north, there was no buildup of visitors here.
Before entering the festival venue, we took a walk first on the main road that surrounds the park. There were a variety of tent stalls like the night market at that time, but much more crowded. As the name implies, of course, many stalls peddle books and school equipment. During the walk, I looked around me, but unlike Gavin who was still traumatized by the incident that happened to him earlier.
“The books are so many,” said Cassie excitedly, while Rhean looked like he was looking for something. I saw him get confused and asked him.

“Iya! I was looking for a series of novels I was reading,” he replied happily. Cassie entered the stall and immediately looked through the shelves containing books. Me and the others split up to do the same. With Rein, I walked from one shelf to another. I don't know what I want to buy myself.
“Do you want to buy, Rein?” my many.
“Entaihah, I don't know what to buy,” he replied. I was a little surprised by the answer similar to mine.
“Eh? You're not reading a story or something?” I am curious and confused. Rein asked my question. At the same time I came across a comic that looked familiar to me. It turned out that the comic was an adaptation of an adventure game I was playing.
“Oh, so there's a comic adaptation too, anyway?” I muttered in disbelief. Rein who saw me became curious.
“What's that comic?” Then I explained to him.
“You only know the game, yes,” the cetus responded to me jokingly.
I took it as my grocery list this time out of curiosity about the contents of the comic. Although the storyline is the same, I can read it anywhere without having to play the game first. The image presented by the comic is also no less good, especially in color. Then we both walked again to the other shelves.
“You really don't want to buy anything?” I asked to make sure it came back. He just shook his head. Then there was a conversation between the two of us.
“But you like to read, right?”
“Yes, but lately what I've seen from people's comments is that the novels are now less interesting,” he explained. “I haven't been to a bookstore before,” he added.
“Genre what do you like?”
“Almost everything I read, anyway.”
“OK..i...” reply me a little doubt. Then I paused for a moment while looking at the shelf that contained the novels. I picked up a few novels and saw the synopsis. During the synopsis reading, almost all the plot I read did not interest me at all. This was in line with what Rein had just said.
“True you said, the stories are now less interesting,” I said. After some time, I finally found a novel that was good to read. Then I gave it to Rein.
“How about this?”
“I already have this novel,” he replied. I found out and turned the book back on the shelf. Seeing me like this made Rein feel bad for me.
“No need to bother, I will buy it if I find a good one,”.
“But from earlier you only saw me..?” confused reply.
“If you don't want to buy something, let me buy it for you,”. Rein who listened to me was touched and smiled.

“Be aware of where we are now,” I said slowly to him, but he did not rub it at all. I could only leave while looking through some of the other novels. I finally found a novel that I thought was very good.
“Well! How about this?” lontarku showed me the novel. Rein who had just seen him for the first time then became curious. He also read the synopsies written on the back cover.
“Wah, looks good! I never knew if there was this novel,” he said happily. Looking at Rein's face like that made me feel happy.
“Thank God then. Here, let me just pay.” Rein who was still excited and excited then replied to me while saying, “Thank you!”
After buying some books, Rein and I walked out of the stall. I have friends outside except Cassie. They saw each of the books he bought. I was surprised by Rhean who bought a lot of comics. Meanwhile, Bella and Icha buy some novels, while Gandra buys self-development and psychological books.

“I bought one, really. I left the book to Gandra,” he replied.
Then we got ready to walk back. Before we set out on the road, Gavin's face saw his feet in pain holding back the books lying on his lap. I became worried about him. Then I asked him.
“You're okay, right?” my many.
“Keep, what the hell I didn't do untu—” Sontak I shut Gavin's mouth and made us all upset with him, but in contrast to Cassie who was confused by what happened.
“What's up?” his speech was subtly astonished.
“Yah... It's nothing,” I replied with a whimper. Hearing Gavin's words just made my friends try to vilify him.
“So you said no problem, right? Then...” said Rein while stacking his luggage on Gavin's lap, as well as others. Gavin became confused with what he was seeing.
“E—Eh? K—Kok?”
“Wah, you're so nice, yes,” Bella smiled at him. Then Gavin retracted the words he had previously spoken.
