Episode 104: After Storytelling

A cool night with wind blowing through the ventilation holes. The weather in front was quite cloudy and some thunder accompanied it. The six of us had just finished dinner. Along with the empty plate, we listened to Gavin's story seriously. He told me everything that happened at that time.

“That's my story..” said Gavin ending his story. “How? I did well, right?” he asked back. Those of us who heard the story were happy and proud of him.

“Wah, romantic once...” lontar Icha.

Gavin also played the game and chose a plot similar to his experience in the night market at that time. Meanwhile, I was with Gandra and Rhean watching him play and occasionally giving advice to him. Soon Bella and Icha came out of the room carrying a tote bag in her hand.

“To your hostel, Cassie called us to accompany her to sleep,” Bella replied to me and Gavin.

“Why not just with your school bag?” ask Gandra. They both woke up and walked back to the room.

The three of us had just spoken to Bella and Icha, while Gavin was still continuing to play the game. Unbeknownst to us, the main character had been in the restaurant together with his partner. From what was shown from the screen, the two of them were busy eating dinner while chatting together. Then came a scenario very similar to the story of Gavin.

“He choked!” lontar Rhean was surprised.

“It's very similar to your story, Gavin,”. Then the glass that the main character drank was exhausted, then he was given a glass of drink belonging to his partner.

“E—Eh? Indirect kiss?” cetus Rhean did not believe it.

“You mean?” many confusions. Gavin understood this, but he still hesitated.

“There really is such a thing? Isn't it mediocre? My friends also often ask for drinks from me, kok,” reply me wondering, but it seems that Gavin and Rhean were surprised after hearing my last statement.

“Lucky once you. I'm sure they did like that not because they ran out of water, but for something else,” continued Rhean who was jealous of me.

“Another thing? What is it anyway?” askaku.

“Haduh... You're this..” blow Rhean resigned to me. Gavin, who is still in control, asked us to stop discussing it.

“Better we continue this only.” Gandra got up from his seat and went to his room. Then he came out of the room carrying a roll of carpet. I quickly helped him.

“You just take the pillows in the room,” said Gandra.

“OK,” reply. Gavin and Rhean were enjoying playing the game regardless of the two of us. And Gandra began to slowly kick those who were sitting.

“So move for a minute.”

“Okay, you're this. Being preoccupied, nih,” reply Rhean. Gandra spread the carpet, but its wide size made it unable to do so alone. He waited for Gavin and Rhean to help him, but they stayed focused on the screen. Suddenly Gandra became irritated and turned off the television with the remote in his hand.

“What are you doing?” gavin is upset.

“Help me first!” avenged Gandra who was also angry with him. I who heard it from inside the room made me take a sigh of resignation.

“There-There are just the two of them..”.

Then I approached them with pillows in my arms. Finally the carpet succeeded in the title and we lay ourselves down while facing the television. Gavin and Rhean were still playing the game, while me and Gandra were trying to close their eyes, but the noise made it difficult for us to sleep. Sometimes we are tempted to look at the screen out of curiosity.

“Oi, school tomorrow, you know.” I said to both of them.

“In the meantime,” reply Gavin who is serious.

They continued the game very noisy. I did things like close my ears, hug my pillow tightly, and so on, but they all failed. Meanwhile, Gandra had calmly closed her eyes.

“Gandra, have you slept?” my question is slow.

“Not yet,” the answer is short.

“Haduh... Want until when do you play continue?” I was angry in my heart.

The clock kept going and unknowingly the time had indicated midnight. I fell asleep by myself because I was too sleepy. The next day, I opened my eyes with my body still lying. They all seem to be asleep. I sit down and stretch my hands. With a feeling of sleepiness that had not disappeared I looked at the clock, but my gaze still looked blurry.

“Wuah... What time is it now?” my mumbling was yawning. After rubbing my eyes, the clock finally became clear. And at that moment I was shocked.

“Jesus dragon! We're over an hour late!” lontark. Suddenly they all woke up. With souls still half, they were confused by my panicked self.

“What's up, Adelard?” ask Gandra.

“K—We're misfortune!” my answer.

Soon we all became foggy and ran to and fro. We quickly went to take a shower in turns, while Gavin and I used the bathroom in our dormitory. After a very quick preparation like lightning, the four of us ran towards the school building. I was furious with Gavin and Rhean who were preoccupied with playing games until late at night.

“This is all because of you two!”
