Episode 25: The Sincerity of the Prince
Sunlight penetrated into the holes of the roof. With a strong curiosity the prince left the hut, although the prince had not completely healed. The prince surrounded the forest only to find someone who had helped him. When he was in the river, he finally found a woman who was contemplating on the river bank. “Oi!” greet the prince.
“What did you come here for?” she asked, surprised to see my sudden presence.
“I... I just want to thank you for saving my life.” said the prince as he approached the woman. “How did you know that I saved you?” ask the woman again as she gets up from her seat. “I know this ribbon.” said the prince. “Oh yes, what is your name?” the prince asked curiously.
“Kaitlyn's. Kaitlyn Amaris, daughter of the king of Lunaris.” replied the woman who finally made the prince stunned.
“A—What? Then why did you want to stop the war?” ask the prince.
“Because I can no longer see many people suffering from war. I want to see them live in peace and live as they should.” Kaitlyn said in tears. The prince's hard heart was like a rock and suddenly listened to his cries.
“I've guessed that you are a kind girl. My name is Aglen Valterous, I have just been given the throne of the kingdom of Ensnard. Then will you come with me?” the prince smiled.
“Cute? Why should I come with you?” asked Kaitlyn who was confused by the prince's words.
“Marry me. That way we will unite the kingdom of Ensnard and the kingdom of Lunaris, and remove wars throughout the kingdom to make a peaceful life for the people.” explained the prince with a faint smile. But the prince's request was rejected outright by Kaitlyn.
“I don't trust you! I won't trust anyone thirsting for power!” reject Kaitlyn in a high tone.
“Trust me. I will do whatever you want, for I feel that I have fallen in love with you. Marry me, Kaitlyn.” said the prince with sincerity. “No! Besides my father wouldn't approve if I married you, because to my father you are his enemy.” Agile Kaitlyn.
“You however I don't believe!” concluded.
“Alright! I will prove the sincerity of my love for you, and will make your father bless our marriage.” The prince replied with a burning determination. “And remember! When that time comes, you won't dodge me.”
“I'll wait for you until that time comes! But if you don't live up to your words, you can't fight anyone!” reply Kaitlyn firmly to the prince.
“Hold my promise, princess.”
With pleasure and confidence, the prince returned to the palace. His father who was lying in a doldrums could do nothing and could only wait for his death to arrive. Then the prince entered his father's room and approached him with glad tidings.
“Defend, Dad. In a moment your request will be granted.” said the prince smiled as he clasped his father's hand.
“Dad was looking forward to it, Nak.” replied his father was beheaded. After that the prince gathered all his preparations to go to the next kingdom. With determination the prince was very sure of himself.
“I'll prove it soon!”
