Episode 26: Promise of the Prince and the Princess
A few days later, the prince visited the kingdom of Lunaria alone on his white horse. The long journey he took with determination and sincerity that still clung strongly to him. The sound of animal whispers from the forest and the wind that hit the trees became a silent witness to this day of proof.
Arriving at the entrance of the kingdom, the prince was confronted by several soldiers of the Lunaris kingdom. “Do you want to come here?” asked a soldier while pointing a sword at the prince. “I want to meet with his majesty.” firmly the prince. “Can't! Want to find you dead apparently!” said the soldier while hitting the prince, but the prince managed to fend off the blow.
The unfailing circumstances led the prince to fight the soldiers, but he tried not to kill him. He only wanted to meet Kaitlyn Amaris' father to talk about his marriage. King Lunaris finally went outside because he heard the noise of the crowd from outside the royal palace.
“What are you coming here for, prince?” ask the King of Lunaris.
“I came here just to talk to you, your majesty.” replied the prince while paying his respects to the king of Lunaris. “Alright then. Login!” take the king of Lunaris while walking towards his throne.
“Sit. What do you want to say?” asked the king of Lunaris after sitting on his throne.
“I came to propose to your daughter. I have been guilty of loving your daughter, your majesty.” said the prince lowered his head.
“Hahahaha! It's a shame you've dared to fall in love with my daughter. I can't possibly marry her to you!” the king of Lunaris was angry. But the determination of the prince who has been round is not easy to give up just like that.
“I beg! Bless me, your majesty. As a sign of proof that I really love your daughter, I want to realize the noble wish that your daughter hopes for.” explained the prince earnestly. Then the king of Lunaris was confused and called his daughter.
“Kaitlyn, come here!” call the king of Lunaris.
“Iya Ayahanda's. You called me?”
“Sit! I want to hear directly from you. What desire does the prince mean?” ask the king of Lunaris to his daughter. “I just want to wipe out the war, Ayahanda. I want to see the people live in peace and tranquility.” Kaitlyn said.
“Alright then. I've seen enough of the sincerity of your love for my daughter. I will bless your marriage, so I will appoint you as the king of Lunaris in my place. I am too old to be king. So unite the kingdoms of Ensnard and Lunaris, and make the people's lives prosperous, and happy my beloved daughter.”
“With all due respect I accept your request, Your Majesty.” said the prince smiled happily.
Finally the prince managed to marry the red-boned princess. Fulfilled the wishes of the prince's father as well as the wishes of Princess Kaitlyn. Before taking his last breath, the father congratulated and said farewell directly to the royal newlyweds.
“Congratulations.. Finally I can go quietly.. Be.. a king and queen I know now... I am proud of you..”. Tears poured out from the eyes of the prince and Kaitlyn. Smiling, the prince replied to his father.
“Thank you, Father..” he said subtly through tears. Soon the father breathed his last breath. A sad sobbing did not escape the people who were in the room, including her father Kaitlyn. Finally, all the full trust began to be carried by the prince who is now a king.
In the walking days he lived in peace with his people. The prince had one boy and one girl each. As time went on, the prince not only managed to unite the two kingdoms, but he also managed to unite all the kingdoms on the big island, so that his name is now only the kingdom of Athesia.
The prince and the princess lived happily ever after because of the love they believed could change a person's life even if something was impossible. As long as a sincere heart has spoken, then goodness will appear to him.
