Love Exchange's
Episode 166: Winter Trials

A shady and cool morning welcomes the beginning of our activities on the first day of the final exam of the semester. We all got up early and got ready immediately, before we finally set off for the school building together. The students who were also walking towards the school. Some of them stepped up while opening a book and reading it. I was looking around suddenly there was a woman who hit me accidentally.

“Sorry... I don't pay attention to the road,”.

“Iya, I also apologize.” reply I turned to him. How surprised I was after realizing that I remembered the figure of the face I had met before, but I did not remember his name. I tried to remember her name and all my friends were silent watching us both. Vira saw the suspicious looking Rein and immediately parted with me.

“Sorry, I'm in a hurry,” he said as he walked away from me.

“Oh, okay,”.

“Who is he?” ask Rein.

“Entahlah.. His face is like a stranger,” answered me who is also confused.

“Iya... I also feel I have seen it..” Rein murmured. Gandra who still really remembers him then blurs without feeling guilty to all of us.

“He was the one who was together at the water park that time.” At once we remembered and realized that the woman was Vira.

“Oh yes, I just remembered,” my toilet slowly.

“Loh? She goes to school here too?” rein said in disbelief.

“There's no way you'll bring it up again, right?” said Bella.

“Sure, close to the opposite sex is not necessarily cheating, right?” rhean continued, patting my shoulder.

“Yah.. As long as the heart is still loyal to him, with whoever we are together, still the heart that strengthens us,” I smile back.

“Wah, you're so wise,” said Icha grinning.

“But it is not wrong also to feel jealous,” cetus Gandra.

“Betul. As long as it doesn't cross the line, it means that the person is worrying about you,” Rein said.

“In conclusion, everything that is excessive is not good,” concluded Gavin while acting like he was giving advice to all of us.

“I didn't expect that we would discuss this,”.

“Betul also, all started from the woman,” said Rein.

“Quite deviated from the one that should discuss the material, yes,” continued Bella joking and we were intrigued by laughter together.

“All your words add to my insight. A lot of things I just know now,” Cassie smiled.

“Looks like you still have a lot to learn,” Gavin replied.

We continued our steps towards the school building. With a thick winter uniform makes us easily tired when climbing stairs. The burden we feel is also getting heavier due to the uniform. Fortunately, the book we brought was not too many because there were only three subjects in each day during this exam. We entered the room designated by the committee. All of the students' seats at random included myself parting ways with my friends, except for Cassie who occupied one room with me.

“You're here too?” I just can't believe it.

“Iya,” he replied while showing a clear test card on his phone screen. We saw each other's seat numbers, and we were separated by a considerable distance. I was at the far right side of the class while Cassie was sitting at the opposite spot. Before the bell rang, I went to Cassie's bench and we repeated the material together.

“You remember all the formulas?” ask Cassie curiously.

“Hopefully, there are many formulas in the material this semester,” I replied.

“Do you have your own way to easily remember it?” continued Cassie.

“You have enough trouble remembering how to count quartiles, huh?” my reply.

“More or less so.. I'm afraid of being switched.”

“Hmm... It seems like my way is also not much different from what is in the book.”

“So my way is like this..” I said while writing the formula I used.

“You can see the writing upside down, right?” imbuhku. He drew his face closer to the book.

“Can,” answer. I continued my explanation to him. Suddenly someone with a big body nudged me and made me lose my balance. My face fell on the table and headed to Cassie accidentally. With my head in pain I cried out to the man.

“If the road says excuse me!”

“Sorry! I forgot!” from behind the class. Meanwhile, Cassie rubbed her head that had just hit me.

“What do we need to go to the health room?” much worry.

“T—No need.. Soon the pain will disappear,” he replied. A few seconds later, I realized that there was a lump in my head, and Cassie did too.

“Aw!” his groan unintentionally pressed down on the place of the wound.

“We better get there, the bell has not rang,” I said in panic.

We rushed to the medical room which was quite far from our exam room. Arriving there, there was a health club building teacher who was tidying up the medicine shelf. We came straight to him. I told him what happened and then the teacher swiftly took a cold compress. He gave each of us to both.

“If not hunted, you can take him to the exam room.”

“Good, Mom,” Reply. The teacher then walked to the exit. Before leaving us, he conveyed something to us.

“If you want to bring it, be careful with the lid, yes. Don't spill and hit the computer.” We answered him and then he closed the door.

Soon the entrance bell would ring, while we were still outside the examination hall. The pain we felt had begun to slowly disappear though not entirely. Until the time of entry was two minutes away, I decided to return to the examination room. I asked Cassie to go back to class.

“Let's just bring this compress,” I said.

“I don't want to take risks,” he said as he put the compress back into place.

“Are you sure? My head still hurts, you know,”.

“It's okay. I've been feeling better,” she replied. I who also do not want to feel disturbed by the object then put it too.

“Alright then, come back,” take me.

“OK,” reply.

As we entered the classroom, there was the sound of bells ringing at the same time. All of the disciples instantly occupied their respective seats and the supervising teacher had entered the examination hall. Some time later, we all began to work on the exam simultaneously. I immediately worked on the problem and counted with the scribbled paper that had been provided.

“Okay, how suddenly I forget?” my murmuring is not over thought. A few seconds later my head felt dizzy and it was hard to think.

“What is the effect of the wound earlier?” my mind.

On the other hand, Cassie could only hold her head with her eyes looking at the unfinished graffiti she counted. His head felt dizzy and forgot the formula and manner I had told him before. He tried to shake his head but that didn't change anything. Dizziness also makes him feel drowsiness that immediately appears.

“Why should in times like this?” inner Cassie.

Unknowingly we looked at each other from a distance. Cassie's lethargic face and the same thing Cassie saw on me. I could only murmur frantically that Cassie was speaking in her heart as well.

“How do I solve all this?”

“Last is the value I've targeted..”.
