Love Exchange's
Episode 136: Different Expectations

Bright blue sky with bright shining sun, people scattered enliven the school building. We just attended the seminar. As the break bell rang, we immediately rushed towards the canteen without thinking of anything else in the slightest. Until finally when walking back to class, my friends still do not believe that my father became a speaker.

“I didn't think it was your father,” said Gandra. Rhean and Icha who had not known the incident because different classes did not understand the words of Gandra just now.

“What do you mean? Is Adelard's father here?” asked Rhean, curious at once.

“Iya,” answer.

“Wah, I want to meet him!” lontar Icha is excited.

“Loh? Why are you so excited to meet my father?”  many wonder.

“The child is just like this, I became very attuned to his father,” replied Icha smoldering. Not long after that someone came to us who turned out to be Gavin's father. We who were walking with the food in our hands stopped. Rhean and Icha who had met him immediately greeted each other with smiles.

“Where are you going?”

“We are out of the cafeteria and want to go to class,” I replied in a grin.

“Oh... Then let's eat together. Follow me,” smile back. We who heard it were shocked and confused. We followed him from behind. Gandra and Bella, who had not recognized him, whispered to them.

“You recognize him?”

“Yes, he filled the seminar in our class,” replied Icha. Gavin who heard their conversation just smiled. Seeing Gavin's face like that made Gandra think something.

“You why?”

“Nothing, just amused by your chat,” replied Gavin grinning. Then Gandra looked suspiciously at him.

“Tumben once you weren't curious about that guy. You already know?” gandra asked, but Gavin only replied by raising his shoulders. Gandra is getting older with all that. He responds to Gavin's response with a smile.

“Alright then.”

We walked through the classes and the people who were there. It was as if we had stolen their attention from walking with Gavin's father. We finally arrived at a room that was none other than a meeting room. Gavin's father opened the door and went inside with us. It seems my father was having a good conversation with his father Cassie and Rein.

“Wah, you guys turned out. Please sit down,” said my father. We sat on the chairs available at the very wide meeting table. Our seats are facing them.

“Let's eat together, don't be shy,” his father Rein smiled. The four of us opened the food and ate it, while Gandra and the others looked confused to us who looked ordinary.

“Come to eat. No need to hesitate,” continued his father Gavin. I who saw them acted very courteously and was a little embarrassed suddenly remembered something.

“Oh yes, I forgot to introduce you guys,” I said pringas-pringis. Then I introduced our fathers one by one.

“From right to left, he's my father, then his father Rein, Cassie, and Gavin,” I explained and immediately made Gandra and the other friends gasp in shock.

“E—Eh? Really?” lontar Bella can't believe it. Gandra introduced himself, followed by the others.

“Greetings!” my father's toilet.

“I didn't think like this..” murmured Gandra.

“Yah.. At first I also did not believe that my father and Cassie turned out to have a relationship with his father Gavin and Rein,” reply crybaby.

“The world is indeed narrow, yes,” said Rein smiled. We all continued the conversation while finishing our meals. There was a lot of laughter between us.

“Wah, you are all very familiar,” said my father.

“I really thank you guys for wanting to be friends with Cassie,” her father Cassie smiled at us.

“Not lazy, it is natural to make friends, right,” reply Bella cangar-cengar.

“Thank God then.. Cassie has changed a lot now,” said her father, while Cassie just fell silent with the shame.

“What was Cassie like?” ask Rhean curiously.

“Have no friends at all,” replied his father briefly. Cassie who heard it suddenly blushed half to death and became resentful towards him.

“A—Daddy!”

Instantly the atmosphere became liquid and we were all giggled with laughter, while Cassie's face was red as an apple.

“Your expression is so funny, Cassie,” chirped Gavin chuckling.

“I hope you all can always be friends,” continued Cassie's father.

“There is a club activity?” I asked Rein.

“Iya,” she replied then rushed out of class. Gandra and Bella had already left the classroom. I walked out of the room and at the same time Cassie was not far beside me who was just out of class. Cassie, who was looking at me, called me.

“Adelard!” Then I looked towards him.

“Cassie? You haven't come home?”

“I just want to go home now,” she smiled. I didn't see Gavin and the others coming out after.

“Where are the others?” continue many.

“Have gone home first. Gavin is also having business with his father,” he replied. We also walked to the dormitory, but on the way there was a luxury car that came to us.

“Will go home to dorm?” ask my father with the car window open. I replied with a nod. Seen next to him was Cassie's father.

“How about we take a walk for a while?” bring him.

“You how, Cassie?” continue my question and make Cassie instantly become nervous.

“A—I'm coming with you!”

“Alright then, count-count off fatigue,” say happy. We entered the car and sat next to it. The car then walked out of the school complex.

“Dad Rein and Gavin?” many confusions.

“Have a business of each,” replied my father.

We walked through the city center to a place I didn't know about, and so did Cassie. Not much conversation happened during the trip. I was engrossed in seeing the cityscape and the magnificent skyscrapers. We finally arrived at a tall glass building. We were taken to a cafe on the roof of the building. With a beautiful view we sat and faced each other with our father. After sipping coffee, they started asking us.

“How is your school?”

“Assyc. Well.. Not far from the school at Snitheria.”

“It looks more mending here than there,” Cassie said slowly.

“Betul also,” reply.

“Thank God that you enjoy it.”

“As long as you do this program, use your time to try new things,” added my father. We who heard it just smiled and blushed a little.

“Tak feels you guys are big,” murmured Cassie's dad.

“Iya. I used to remember once there was a child who said that dating was not important, but it seems like speech stay,” continued my father. I who heard it felt insinuated and made me blush at once, but I did not know what to say.

“Quiet, quiet.. Indeed something can turn a hundred and eighty degrees,” joked my father. He sipped his coffee and spoke to me again.

“Lesson for you. Don't say something if you can't hold it yourself.”

“B—Good...” reply me slowly with head down.

“No problem. While still young, enjoy the time that you do not necessarily get when you are old. But do not forget the future so as not to regret when old,” he explained.

“Wah, wow, so wise these one gentlemen,” chirped Cassie's father.

“Coffee power,” let out a laugh.

“Down said your father. For example like dating, just think of it as just ‘holiday’ when you need someone to accompany you, but another story if you want to be taken ‘more seriously’ again,” continued Cassie's father.

“Although not as we thought,” added my father grinning.

“Yah... Destiny no one knows,” says. Then they both laughed. Me and Cassie who saw him instantly became upset with them.

“As long as it's your respective choice. We will continue to support,” my father smiled. I was amazed by the words he said. I could only ask myself inwardly with uneasiness.

“A—What does it mean?”
