Episode 103: Horrible Grimacing is Powerless

In the middle of the night that was still filled with people. I showed you a place I had seen before. My friends don't know where I'm going. I was still confused with Cassie who did not know, but at that time I was clearly silent and noticed the haunted house.

“So big place he didn't see?” my question is in my head.

Until the four of us finally arrived at the haunted house. The beginning of their response was surprise and anxiety. Then Adelard told me Cassie was a coward. But I didn't think about the bad things that were going to happen, but I was very happy to be able to use that fear to bring my relationship with Cassie closer.

We were in a pretty long line. After a while, Adelard and Rein went in first, and Cassie and I had to wait five minutes. They both looked calm and not afraid at all, in contrast to Cassie who looked down agitated and frightened. So I tried to calm him down.

“Take it easy, Cassie. There I am beside you,” I said slowly.

“T—But I'm afraid of that spooky atmosphere..” reply.

“There's nothing to worry about. Just remember that all this is human engineering.”

“I know.. But I was easily surprised..” Then I clasped Cassie's hand and said calmly to her.

While waiting, I tried to tell her that the ghost did not exist. I also explained that things at first glance seem and such are mere hallucinations and delusions. His anxiety gradually receded though not completely, but I felt a little relieved by it. After five minutes of waiting, it was our turn.

“Please enter...” said the doorman while opening the door. We both went inside slowly. Before that, the doorman reminded us of one thing.

“It seems like this is no ordinary haunted house.” my mind is anxious.

Arriving inside, we saw a long dark passageway. The door was closed and his voice surprised us. Cassie glanced to the right and to the left while lowering her head. He stuck himself next to me with his hand held tightly. I started walking quietly too. Cassie covered her eyes with one hand.

As we walked along, there were creepy noises coming from all directions. The building material made of wood produced a creepy sound as we walked. Often Cassie is surprised by the sound of the wood creaking. I was not surprised by the sound of the wood, but I was shocked by Cassie's sound.

“There is nothing... There is only wood, just relax..”.

“A—I want to quickly get out of here..”.

“Let's speed up our steps a little.”

Seen from a distance at the end of the hallway we passed through. Cassie looked down at the floor in fear. I quickly told him the good news.

“Come, Cassie. A little more we come out of this hallway, my throw-away” brings it up.

“B—Good!” the answer is fog. Cassie finally ventured to look ahead. However, not long before we both felt relieved, suddenly something appeared right in front of our faces from above. We both screamed loudly.

“Aaaaaaa..!”

Cassie hugged me tight. I, who did not expect it, was also surprised by the thing. Though I was mediocre with the scary surprise that hit me, but this time it was different. I immediately gasped for fatigue. My clothes are now wet from Cassie's tears.

“P—Rome... Let's go home..” groaned scared half to death. I hugged him tightly while stroking his back.

“Of course... We will be home soon after getting out of here..”.

I was confused what to do with him. I don't know if I should be happy or not. To be sure, I feel very guilty for taking her to this horrible place. Everything that happened was different from my expectations.

“I'm really sorry, Cassie.. You must be so mad at me..”.

Then we took a step and entered the dining room. The room was very dark with kitchen furniture and cutlery. There is a wide table in the middle of the room and is accompanied by four chairs. Without a second thought, we both tried to quickly get out of the room. We tried not to walk on the edge of the room, but I was too close to the table accidentally dropped a plate. Cassie gasped in shock and hugged me again.

“H—Only plate.. Sorry..” replied.

“Other times look around you!” annoyed screams.

“B—Good...” reply I was nervous.

Once in the dining room, we entered a room again. I who looked around realized that this place looked like a cutting room. I who have often played horror games make me not feel afraid at all.

“Place like this I've seen so often before, my inner”. Then I directed Cassie at my direction.

“This is just a regular room. You just look down and don't look forward,”. “These bags just think of it as a decoration.

“O—OK...” He did what I said.

And sure enough, there was a face hanging in front of my face. Luckily Cassie didn't see it, so she wasn't in shock at all. Then we both stepped forward. Suddenly we stepped on a liquid on the floor, but the darkened room made me not recognize the liquid, even though I guessed it.

“This definitely is blood. Classic once...” my mind is acting presumptuous.

“No need to worry, Cassie. Let's just walk to that door,” continued my message to him.

We walked out of the room and entered the other room. There was a television and a sofa in the room we were in. Cassie who looked around thought that this place was very similar to the living room in our dormitory.

“Persis once with the middle space,” mumbled me slowly.

“K—We are no longer in dorm, right?” ask Cassie to make sure.

Suddenly the television was lit up and played a show with a spooky clown on the screen. I hurried out of the room, but Cassie fell silent and glared at the screen with a frightened face. The impression initially seemed mediocre, until finally the figure turned into a scary look and shouted loudly.

“AYO PLAY WITH ME!”

Then I pulled Cassie and ran to the next room. The sound of television was still clearly heard with the giggling of that monstrous figure. Next we entered the bedroom. There is a table and it is accompanied by a large mirror. Cassie sees the room as similar to her bedroom in the dormitory. The sound of a baby laughing loudly. We panicked in fear and tried to find the exit, but nothing.

“M—Where is the door?” my many. Meanwhile Cassie closed her ears tightly and screamed in fear.

“Stop! Please stop!” Then he was immediately unconscious. I quickly caught it.

“Cassie! Cassie!” call me to wake her up, but she won't notice. The atmosphere became gripping and I grew increasingly foggy. The loud noises that went into my ears made my head dizzy instead of puffed up. There was only a closet next to the bed. I opened it and saw an exit.

“But before going out, I have to wake Cassie up first,” I muttered inwardly. I also tried to wake him up.

“Cassie, relax! Cassie!”

Seeing her like that made me realize her beauty. His closed eyes and innocent face fascinated me. It crossed my mind something.

“For this time alone, it's okay, right?” I said to myself. Then I kissed her without her noticing. Shortly after, he woke up and woke up. I immediately pretended to be ignorant and innocent.

“Where am I..?”

“We are at the exit,” I replied. Then I lowered Cassie down quietly. A still small voice made Cassie remember that she was still in the haunted house. Suddenly he became traumatized and his body weakened. I grabbed him and took him out of there.

“Cassie, you're okay, right?”

“C—Quick... exit.. from— here...” the speech is lethargic.

After coming out of the haunted house, Adelard and Rein who had been waiting outside were suddenly shocked to see the condition of both of us who were exhausted and helpless. They both panicked and came straight to us. Rein helped me to embrace Cassie, while Adelard helped me walk to a bench.

“You all right?” rein asked worriedly. Cassie was so traumatized that she made herself nauseous.

“A...ku... mau... vomit...”.
