Crowds flocked to attend the election day in this enormous school meeting hall. There were six pulpit speeches to pray and debate from each of us. Me and
Cassie was a candidate of number six. We were all given each of his own preparation room. We are separated from the other candidates.
Before the show began Cassie and I practiced and recalled the script of our speech. This tense atmosphere made me urinate frequently.
“I go to the restroom first, yes, Cassie.” I said then rushed out of the room. “Iya.” reply.
I hurried to take the time to urinate before the event began. I don't want this sense of kebellet to disturb my speech later. I who was running in a hurry did not look around. I hit someone pretty hard. The collision caused both of us to fall.
“Sorry.” I feel guilty. “Nothing.” reply while rising. Then he smiled at me. “Sunday meet on the podium later.” he said then he left me. He was one of the other five candidates. I who was still confused with him continued my way to the restroom.
“Finally relieved...”. Then there was the sound of an announcement from the school loudspeaker.
“OSIS presidential and vice-presidential election activities will begin soon. Please all students attend the school hall.” I quickly ran back to Cassie.
A few moments later the show began. The seats were filled with students, teachers, and madrasas. Not to forget also the principal who opened this event. Seeing him from backstage on the podium has made me nervous and less confident. But I don't want to waste this opportunity. I'll try my best.
Meanwhile, Cassie still bowed silently and continued to think about her speech later. “You're okay, right?” ask her.
“Iya... It's okay..” he replied nervously. I also calmed down and encouraged him.
“Don't think too much. If you're nervous when you talk, don't look them in the eye. Just look at the jidat or hair only.” Little by little, Cassie's self-confidence comes up. Shortly thereafter the candidates are welcome to take the podium stage and fill the pulpit that has been determined.
The first arrangement of activities is the reading of orations from each candidate starting from number one. Emery immediately voiced his speech firmly and steadily. Everyone's watching him. After that, proceed with the next candidate.
“I follow this activity because I want to add to my experience. If I am elected, I will try to help the school program program and continue the program last year which is positive.”
I was surprised by what Eledarn read. “The idea is similar to mine.” muttered me in the heart.
Freda and Hart who listened to him were shocked and thought this was just a coincidence.
“This is just a coincidence, right?” tanya Freda convinced herself.
“Iya, it seems so.” replied Hart a little anxious.
After finishing giving the oration, the audience applauded the two of them after revealing the speech and vision and mission. I'm still confused as to what to say later. Because everything Eledarn said is exactly the same as the content of my speech.
“There's no way I'm saying the same words, right? Later I was mistaken for a jiplak.” I muttered to Cassie. Cassie also seemed panicked after listening to all their speeches. I also confirmed my words later by checking back in the script that was in my pocket.
“Loh, my paper where?” I panicked as I groped my support. Cassie next to me was confused. Fortunately, no one noticed us. All eyes were on the pair of candidates number five who were reading his speech. I murmured in panic confusion in my heart.
“Why is it suddenly gone? What should I say later?”
