The returning evening sky was bright and the scent of the ground after the soothing ground greeted me when I got home. My parents and my brother were waiting for me inside. For a moment I closed the door they came straight to me with happy faces.
“Asik! Student exchange!” lontar my sister is excited. My mom and dad smiled at me. I was shocked to see their response.
“K—You guys know it?” tanyaku.
“Of course, there's no way we weren't told, right?” reply father. My mother who was in her spirit immediately fully supported me. Likewise with my brother who is horrendous and tacky like a child.
“Mother will prepare everything.”
“I too!” sahut.
Then I replied to them with a happy smile. Upon arrival in the room I cleared up some preparations for the soon-to-be-conducted OSIS program. Time changes day by day. I was also still bothered by the two cockroaches who kept urging me to teach them. A few weeks after the midterms will be followed by a daily replay week, but they still lack below-average grades.
“We remedial again,” said Hart cengengesan.
“How can you guys remedial in remedial?” I don't think out. Then Freda answered me with a laugh and said, “Hehe... We are great, right.” I was annoyed by their temperament which had no capoks in the slightest.
“Kok is even proud? That's a stupid omnipresent name,” my grumbling in heart. I teach them at recess and after school. Sometimes Cassie was also invited to lighten my load. Such is the situation that I continue to experience, whether until when.
The calendar continues to run non-stop. Until one day that was so sacred arrived. The expanse is illuminated by the shine of the sun with a bright blue horizon, thin webbed clouds are blown slowly, flowers are blooming and fill the road surface, accompanied by birds that chirp melodious, beautiful, beautiful, and beautiful, and the warm weather sign of the date has entered the season of the flower puspita. Today the universe supports graduation ceremony activities.
A solemn and calm atmosphere guides the course of this series of ceremonies held once a year. As chairman of the OSIS I delivered a few words to the graduates who had previously been opened by the principal. Then continued with speeches from several representatives of the class of twelve. A sense of haru and sadness overshadowed the people in this hall room.
“Thank you for the three years we have spent together. Unimagined in my head the future of bright comrades, as bright the atmosphere was this morning. Welcome to the real world, may the busyness faced not break the rope of brotherhood of us all.”
The applause resonated loudly right after Kak Aydhia delivered her speech. I who witnessed it was then touched by his words that plunged sharply into my heart. The ceremony continued until it was over, that was when sobs poured out from all of them while shaking hands with congratulations.
After the ceremony went well, people started to leave the school area one by one. Happy face bolts were emblazoned on their faces with diplomas clasped in and graduation pins taped to their uniforms. Most of them continue the agenda by getting together and partying somewhere together. I also approached Aydhia who was standing alone in the school garden and stared calmly at the fountain.
“Siang, Brother,” said I smiled at him. “Congratulations on your graduation,”. He responds to me with a radiant face.
“Thank you.” Then the two of us chatted casually while sitting on a park bench.
“Where does Brother go to college?” my many.
“I got a scholarship in mainland Malaerath,” he replied. I'm glad to hear it. “Thankful..”.
“Oh yes, did you join the student exchange?” he asked me and suddenly surprised me.
“E—Eh? How can you know?”
“I was just second-guessing,” returned laughing. “So my guess is correct, anyway?” I answered him and said, “Iya..” Then he asked where the program was implemented.
“Malaerath.”
“Wah, what a coincidence!” lontar smile. “We can meet again there,”. I also asked him about the rules and how the student exchange program was implemented. Then he explained it in detail, but the explanation was not much different from the principal at that time, but
there was one piece of information I only found out after hearing his last explanation.
“So, I'll resume twelfth grade again here after the program is finished?” ask me to draw a conclusion.
“Yes. You know Brother Prute, right?” I tried to remember the students who were in his class, but I ran out of sense thinking about it.
“Bright! That's it!”
“He previously followed the same program, after which he continued another year in my generation. So he is one year older than me,” he continued.
I finally understood completely. After a few long talks, I parted with him, but before that he suddenly hugged me tightly and surprised me. Then he ran away leaving me.
“See you,” my word.
“See you in Malaerath later!” it's from a distance.
During the spring, there was no incident that so tracked me to me, just learning, learning, and learning, Not spared also Freda and Hart who continued to pursue me. Until unknowingly the air feels hotter and the sunlight is getting hotter. The final semester exam is just counting fingers. I was with my friends all spending the day off studying together in the library.
“I don't think Eledarn is much different than Hart. Good then...” murmured me in a happy heart. Cassie and Emery helped Freda learn, while me, Milard, and Eledarn were overwhelmed with Hart slow to digest the material.
“May we get the best results,” Cassie said hoping.
The day of the exam arrived. People began to enter the classroom with unusual facial expressions. All the time the workmanship looks a little bit Hart and Freda excited and confident. I saw him feel happy and relieved. After the work is over, we discuss the problems that were done earlier.
“I can do it!” said Freda grinning happily. Hart said so too.
“Finally you can..” my hell is happy.
Two weeks passed, now is the day of the class increase report card. Again, I was ranked first in one class and Cassie was ranked second. Meanwhile Hart and Freda got a mediocre average, but they are very grateful for what they have got.
“At least we all passed,” lontar Hart happy. The holidays are in sight. So Freda invites us all to spend these times to have fun.
“Let's take another walk!” excited though.
“Come!” welcome us all compact.
Throughout the holidays there are many wonderful memories of our togetherness. It didn't feel like a month had passed and next week was the first day of school in the new school year, while Cassie and I had to leave for the Malaerath mainland. A lot of equipment and luggage that my parents had prepared. I also went to a shopping place with friends to buy my goods while in Malaerath later.
“It doesn't feel like time is so short,” said Milard.
“Next year we will go to college, while you two still have to continue the twelfth grade,” Emery continued.
“No problem... We will still gather like this until anytime,” continued Eledarn smiling. Freda approached Cassie and whispered to her.
“Be careful, yes. Do not let Adelard captured another woman there.” Cassie became misbehaved after hearing it and confused me.
“What just happened?” my many.
“It's okay!” cassie held the shame. Meanwhile my other friends just smiled holding back a laugh. Then Hart approached me and whispered like Freda did.
“Jaga Cassie is fine, yes..” As I walk I reply to her by smiling at her and saying, “Of course.” In my heart I wish nothing bad had happened to us there.
“Hopefully me and Cassie are always fine and find lots of new friends there.
