Episode 183: Preparation for a Grand Event

The quiet night, we who had just entered the house were shocked by the presence of Rein who was looking at us suspiciously. I answered her question with a mouth.

“A—I've traveled around the village,” I replied.

“In the middle of snowing like this?” he continued not believing.

“Before it hasn't rained,” My reply.

“Then, why are you with Cassie?” he was the one who was angry with me.

“You're jealous, huh?” suddenly. I was also surprised by my mouth that immediately said so. Rein who heard it was shocked then became with me.

Gavin and Mr. Gled were busy cutting the logs with a machine.

“Yeah... A little bit I can hold it,” reply me. A few seconds later Mr. Gled turned off the machine for a moment and went to pick up a glass filled with drinks. He gave me the glass.

“This drink is safe, right?” many ensure.

“Let's relax, the drink is safe for anyone, especially if you lack energy,” he replied smiling.

I drank it up too. Not long ago, suddenly my body felt hot and my body moved by itself. Mr. Gled was a little surprised to see the effects that were happening to me.

“It looks like the effect is a little excessive, but no problem,” he said.

“You helped bring those rods to us, yes,” Gavin continued.

I went to the log storage next to the cutting place. I picked up some of the wood and carried it over my shoulder. Surprisingly I did not feel heavy with the logs. Though the droplet looks quite large and can not be lifted by one person.

“What is the effect of the drink earlier?” my inner.

I went back to those who were busy. When I wanted to put it down, they both turned to me and jumped in shock.

“A—Adelard? Can you lift all that?” gavin was stunned.

“Yes, it was not as heavy as I thought,” I replied plainly.

Gavin who was curious and did not believe then asked me to put the gelondong. He tried to lift it like myself, but the heavy wood made it difficult to carry it. Eventually he could no longer and wanted to fall. I ran to help him quickly.

“Let me alone,” reply. At the same time Bella and Icha came with boxes of bread that Cassie and the others had previously made.

“Lunch is coming!” lontar Bella is excited. I who was still lifting the long trunk then turned to look at him. The swirl followed me and was almost about all of them.

“Can you put it first?” icha said exasperatedly.

“Oh yes... Hehe..” My newly awakened reply. At the same time Bella only realized that the bobbin I lifted was very heavy.

“T—Wait! Adelard, how can..?”.

We finished the bread that was available in the box. After filling the stomach, we felt relieved and sleepy at the same time.

“Wuah... I want to rest for a while,” break Gavin while yawning.

“Do not now. We have to finish it on time,” reply Bella.

“But just for a minute,” Gavin continued.

“Look at Adelard, he is very fiery,” Icha said. Then Mr. Gled came to Gavin with the same glass of drink I had before.

“Nih, drink,” he said. Gavin drank it with one gulp. We are all finally ready to continue the work.

“Let's finish now!” lontar Pak Gled's.
