Episode 179: Snow Season Village
One sunny morning a beautiful panorama of sparkling white sandy slopes, we went out of the villa together with each other's luggage. Not far from here there is a village that is very suitable for Christmas. We walked to a small bus stop and waited there for a few minutes. The last few days I had trouble sleeping and I was so exhausted. The small bus arrived and we boarded it, but I was very sleepy and almost fell asleep on the bus stop.
“Adelard! Come!” lontar Rein's. I gasped in shock at hearing it and immediately rushed up to it.
“Why have you always been this way since yesterday?” bella asked confusedly.
“Definitely staying up,” Freda said.
“When I saw you were asleep on the bed, but you haven't slept?” gavin continued, not thinking.
“I've had a hard time sleeping lately..” reply me slowly.
“Quite danger if it continues to be left,” said Icha.
“Mumpung is on the road, spend your time to rest now,” Rein told me.
“Alright..” reply me who then fell asleep resting on the seat. Fortunately, the passengers inside were not too numerous. While I slept, Rein was still inexhaustible with what had happened to me.
“What happened to him?” mumbling astonished.
“Entahlah.. It seems that since the incident he became like this,” reply Gandra. Hart and Freda were shocked and confused to hear it.
“What happened?” ask Hart.
“No, just an unexpected incident,” replied Rhean. Freda who was next to Cassie then felt a fairly hot air felt beside her. As he turned his head towards Cassie, he was immediately shocked and felt worried for her.
“K—You okay, Cassie?” freda was shocked. He saw his face bowed and bright red.
“A—I'm fine!” lontar Cassie flutter. Hearing that voice made them all hear it. Hart who noticed Cassie then felt suspicious of something.
“Hmm... A lot has happened when I wasn't around..” murmured Hart.
“Why Hart?” ask Gavin who is next to him.
“What's the problem with Adelard and Cassie?” hart whiskey. Hart, Gavin, and Gandra got together and talked about it in small voices.
“How can you know?” rhean did not believe it.
“Sshh! You're this!” sahut Gavin is upset with Rhean.
“So right?” ask Hart to make sure.
“Yah... That's it..” replied Gavin.
“It is unfortunate that he chose people who are not in line with our choices.” muttered Hart while looking at me who was asleep.
“What have you done to the two of them before?” ask Gandra the alignment. Hart recounted all the events he had arranged at the time, but he did not mention Cassie by name in the story. The three of them who heard it then tingled and chuckled.
“You did it very conspicuously once,” reply Gavin laughed.
“But the proof he didn't realize it,” Hart continued.
“True too,” says Rhean.
“I hope he can wake up,” cetus Gandra.
“Then what happened to the girl?” ask Gavin curiously. Hart and Gandra who heard it were surprised but they immediately held it back.
“Loh? I thought he already knew,” Hart murmured inwardly.
“Oh yes, if Gavin knew it could be dangerous. But, not that time he had realized that.” Gandra's mind.
“They both have a hard time declaring it. What's more that one is insensitive,” said Hart.
After a few minutes of travel, we finally arrived at the village. The chandelier that adorns every corner of the settlement. The day is still bright but it is enough to spoil the eyes. I became more curious at night. We walked to an inn in the form of a rented house. When we went inside, we felt the atmosphere of a comfortable home and just like in the movies. Many building materials made of wood add warmth in the midst of the fierce cold.
“Wah, really like the one in that legendary movie!” lontar Bella girang's.
“So the movie was filming here?” I just can't believe it.
“Loh? I thought you guys already knew,” reply Gandra surprised.
After putting down the luggage we intend to walk around the village. We walked down the path formed due to frequent pedestrians passing through it. I was surprised to see no motor vehicles at all, only horse-drawn vehicles and such. Many of the horse carriages carried very large logs.
“About that big wood for what, huh?” muttered Gavin curiously.
“Excuse me, Sir. What is this wood used for, yes?” bella asked someone who happened to pass us by.
“This is for firewood,” he replied smiling.
“This big?” chirps Rhean can't believe it.
“Iya, branches and twigs are used for homes, while this large trunk is for bonfires on Christmas Eve,” he explained.
“It looks like it will be very interesting!” lontar Icha is excited.
“Come! The more people who come will be more colorful!” reply with pleasure.
“Alright! We will definitely come!” I said the impatient one. We thanked him and went back on our way.
“I didn't expect you to ask me that,” cetus Gandra.
“What is in question? That's the importance of mingling,” reply Bella.
At the same time we passed a farm and there was a big barn next to it. There were many sheep in the cage. They were eating straws that were in the feed. We approached the fence and saw them up close. A little while later came someone in clothes like a rancher coming over to us.
“Happy day!” barbarically.
“Siang!” sahut Gavin's.
“You just arrived here?” continued.
“Iya, we want to look around,” Rein replied.
“You are interested to see it more closely?” bargain with us. Bella accepted the offer without thinking. We are welcome to enter the cage and interact with them. Frightened Cassie tries to get away from the sheep that are approaching her.
“There is nothing to fear. They're all tame, kok,” he said. Seconds later, Gavin and Rhean are chased by sheep. Cassie who saw him became even more afraid. In the end, they had fun with sheep jumping around them.
“You are very familiar,” I said.
“That's the importance of mingling,” reply Gavin Rhean smiled.
“Hey! You took my word!” lontar Bella's.
“But true, right?” ask Gavin.
“Ya, right, anyway,” continued Bella.
After having fun with the sheep, we parted with them and the breeder. We continued our steps towards a path leading into the forest. Seemed an evergreen tree that filled the forest. There are several horse-drawn carriages on the road. We stopped there until Cassie was surprised when a horse licked her face from the side.
“Ih! Nasty!” barbarically. We laughed at seeing it.
“Wah, it looks like he likes you,” said the coachman.
“By the way, you guys want to get in there?” added ask.
“Iya, we are curious by in there,” I replied. Then he gladly offered us a ride.
“Close with me, I'll give you a ride.”
