Episode 141: Mutual Misconceptions
One morning was cooler than the previous days. The atmosphere of the dormitory was still very quiet from the noise. The people are still in their resting places and have not been scattered out. The alarm went off next to me and woke me up, while Cassie was still lying on her back with the pillow she was holding.
“It turns out funny also his face like that,” muttered me while smiling. Then I got out of bed and stretched my body. I walked out of the room towards the middle room. Adelard and Gavin's room is sealed. I saw a wall clock that showed a hundred and eighty degree angle. The sun just came out the window.
“Better I prepare breakfast,” murmur me in heart. I started taking some cooking ingredients and then cut them and put them in the pot. Not long after, Cassie called me in a voice that was still dragged from the door.
“Again, Rein..”
“Morning,” answered me while looking at him and was surprised to see his clothes and hair were very messy.
“Cassie, you are banta—” I told him but at the same time the sound of the door opening. Gavin came out of the room half-conscious and his appearance was also a mess like Cassie.
“Wuah... You guys are up?” gavin said as he yawned. Instantly I became panicked by myself with their circumstances like that. Unknowingly, Cassie was beside me and was helping me, while Gavin walked into the living room and sat on the sofa.
“You don't want to tidy up your clothes and hair first?” I don't think it out. The two of them just muttered without a word. I who saw their temperament then sighed.
“Yah... Like their hearts only..” my thoughts. “Is it just me who is always like this every morning?” imbuhku astonished. Some time later Adelard appeared out of the room. He looked very good, unlike the two of them. I also greeted him immediately.
“Again, Adelard,” greeted me towards him, but he ignored me and continued walking towards the bathroom.
“Maybe he still doesn't want to be disturbed because he just woke up..” mumbled in my heart while smiling.
Soon the cooking will be ready. Adelard came out of the bathroom and walked up to Gavin on the sofa. While Cassie was cooking, I prepared a drink and took a few glasses and brought them to the dinner table. But suddenly I slipped on the slippery floor and made me fall. The glass full of water in my hand immediately scattered and doused Adelard. I fell on the floor and surprised everyone. With a swift Adelard came to me.
“I'm fine,” I said slowly.
“Then quickly grab a lap,” says Adelard with a flat face. Suddenly I was shocked and frightened to see him.
“B—Good!” lontarku nervous. I rushed to find a rag to clean up the spilled water. I'm still in shock with Adelard who is different than usual. During the walk I thought about it and talked to myself.
“Is he angry with me? Impossible, she is very kind and instantly forgives.”.
“What is his mood? But why?” When I got back, Adelard immediately stuck out his hand and asked for the lap from me. He did not say a word but merely put on his cold face. With trembling hands I gave it to Adelard.
“This...” Without responding to me quickly he wiped the wet floor. Then he stood up and walked towards the kitchen and said to me.
“Other times be more careful,” throws with a spooky tone while glancing sharply at me who is behind him. Without a second thought I tried to melt the atmosphere.
“Sorry, your shirt is wet, deh,” my chirps are grinning.
“Trusting,” reply was short and instantly made me fall into shock after hearing it.
“Mac jleb!” My heart ached with guilt for him. I tried to hold him back and assumed that Adelard's mood was not good.
We all got together at the dinner table and ate breakfast together. While eating, I was still worried about Adelard who said nothing and did not smile at all. He looked completely different than usual. I tried to comfort and calm him.
“Are you okay?” I asked but Adelard ignored me.
“If there is a problem, I am willing to be your listener,”. Gavin and Cassie looked at both of us and were confused by what had happened.
“You why?” gavin asked, but again Adelard answered nothing. Cassie asked him the same question, and the result was the same. Then I got out of my chair and walked over to Adelard. Gavin and Cassie who saw me was confused, except Adelard who still spent his breakfast. I was standing right behind him.
“Adelard your face—” said Gavin but suddenly fell silent. I saw him and was confused about what happened to Gavin. He smiled at Adelard. I who could not see Adelard's face made me curious.
“What's up?” my many.
“E—Eh? It's nothing,” replied Gavin pringas-pringis.
I sat back in my chair and continued my breakfast. After that, we finished the dishes as usual. Adelard brought a plate and then packed it with me. He took a quick glance at me and immediately turned his gaze away from me. A few seconds later we heard Bella and the others calling us from outside the dormitory. Cassie and I walked over to Bella and Icha. The four of us immediately rushed towards the school and left them behind.
“What happened to Adelard? Do you guys know?” my many.
“Loh? What's the matter, Rein?” reply Bella confusion.
“Suddenly he became quiet and uncharacteristic,”.
“Not that he is indeed not too much behavior?” Icha Sahut.
“Not so! When I wanted to talk to him he did not respond to me..” lontarku then bowed moody.
On the other hand, Adelard and the others were still in front of the dormitory. They just walked to school.
“Huft... Almost just earlier..” break Adelard feel relieved.
“You're why, Adelard?” gavin asked inexhaustibly.
“I'm trying to be the one who ‘cold’,” replied Adelard.
“Oh? You've done it? What is Rein reaction?” ask Gandra curiously.
“Suddenly he hugged me,” replied Adelard then bowed gloomily. “But he looks very anxious, I feel guilty with him.”
“Just your face blushed earlier. Your spooky face suddenly became funny,” reply Gavin tingled with laughter.
“Whispering! I've been trying to hold it in, you know!” lontar Adelard is upset. Good thing you didn't say that to Rein earlier.” he added uneasily.
“Do not stop halfway, long time he will also get used to it,” cetus Rhean.
“Solve what you've started,” added Gandra smiling.
“When is it finished?” manyworry.
“Entah...” replied Gandra.
In the meantime, I feel very anxious about Adelard. Unbeknownst to me, Adelard thought the same thing. We say similar words in our hearts.
