Episode 92: Learning from the Game

Afternoon with a reddish orange sky and a large round sun. The crowds of people passing by, the buildings that stood firm along the road, and the vehicles that whispered ears, became the sight of the four of us who were walking home. Me, Gandra, and Rhean are still a little shocked by Gavin's statement that likes Cassie. Throughout our walk, we also chatted and discussed about his statement earlier.

“Since when did you like it?” manya curious.

“Since first glance..?” gavin replied doubtfully. At that very moment I realized something and remembered the event when Cassie was upset with him for leaning against each other on the sofa.

“Try me to see,” said Gavin, then Gandra gave the cassette to Gavin. Gavin, who did not understand the genre, asked Gandra. “What distinguishes this game from other games?” He also looked at the same type of game cassette.

“Yah... I haven't played it yet, anyway. But according to the game people it goes into the recommendation,” the answer is a little hesitant.

“Alright then,” reply Gavin.

He also chose several other game tapes to buy. Not far from where they were, there was a storefront containing adventure games that caught my attention. After looking around, I also found a game that I had always wanted to buy, but I only had time because there was a rush with me.

“What is it, Adelard?” ask Rhean curiously.

“Adventure fantasy. I like it.” I replied smiling.

“Wah, I don't think people like you like gyms,” says grimace. Each of us then bought the game we wanted. After leaving the store, we continued our journey to the hostel. Gavin can't wait to play it.

“Oh yes, I will often play to your dorms, it's okay, right?” pinta Gavin to Gandra and Rhean. “No problem, we can play together,” replied Rhean smiling. Suddenly I thought about something that kept coming to my head.

“By the way, whose console does it have?” manya curious.

“Punyaku,” jawba Gandra.

“You brought it from your house?” I continued a little surprised.

“Ya.”

Upon arrival at the hostel, Gavin and I stopped by Gandra and Rhean. When I opened the door, there was no one inside. Cassie and her fortune haven't come back yet. Then the four of us went inside and played a console game. Gavin tried the galge game that Gandra had previously recommended.

“Oh, so this is the game..” Lontar Gavin.

“Like the cartoon animation that usually appears on television, yes,”.

“Iya. There are even some games like this that are adapted from comics, animations, or movies. And vice versa,” is clearly Gandra.

“So, what should I do now?” gavin asked Gandra, and Gandra explained.

“You just follow the flow. Later there will be a choice of answers that affect the storyline, and you have to choose it appropriately in order to get a good ending. Maybe obviously you will find out as you play this game.”

The three of us watched Gavin play, sometimes we also helped to tell the choice that we think is right. It is not uncommon for the four of us to argue about this choice. Time passed, the sky had darkened and it was night. A step-by-step sound that felt from the outside.

“Eh, uh.. They've come,” lontar Rhean panic. We all then tidied up the games we had bought and Gavin immediately saved the game and turned off the console. A noise and chatter was heard from outside, and the door opened.

“We went home,” lontar Bella a little tired.

“Welcome,” says Rhean to both of them. Icha who saw us gathered was confused and asked us.

“What are you doing?”

“Urusan male,” replied Rhean cangar-cengar.

“Wuah.. Yes already if it wants you guys. I want to quickly go to sleep, tomorrow is still school,” Bella said while yawning drowsiness.

“Cassie and Rein?” ask me to Icha.

“They've gone home,” he replied, then he closed the room door. Soon the front door opened again and it turned out to be Cassie and Rein who were worried about me and Gavin.

“Bella, are there Adelard and Gavin here?” lontar Cassie opened the door.

“Oh, so you guys are here, anyway?” continue Rein. Then they told us both to go home. But before that, there was something Gavin wanted to give Cassie. Nervous and embarrassed he walked up to Cassie and stuck the doll out to her.

“Cassie, this is for you,” said Gavin smiling, but Cassie just stared at the doll with a rather sad face.

“Thank you.. T—But..”.

“Thank you Cassie, she's been trying to get it, you know.” I told her.

“B—Alright... Thank you..” he said nervously. He took the doll from Gavin. After that he looked at me with empty hands with a glance then immediately returned home.

“A—I will take good care of it. I have to go to bed, wake up tomorrow morning. S—Bye toe!” cassie said pringas-pringis and raven. He just closed the door and we just looked at him. Before long Bella who had been wearing her nightgown came back out of the room with a confused face.

“What was it?” bella asked with her eyes closed.

“Nothing,” Rein replied.

“Oh,” reply Bella briefly then she returns to her room again. Me and Gavin said goodbye to Gandra and Rhean.

“We go home first,” I said.

“Well then, see you tomorrow,” said Rhean.

“Bye.” While walking towards the dormitory that was right next door, I had a chat with Rein.

“You guys have been there for a long time, buy anything?” manya curious.

“A lot,” he replied smiling, but soon he remembered something.

“Oh yes! I forgot to buy you something.”

“What do you want to buy for me?” many confusions.

“Declaration,” he replied smiling.

The three of us returned to our dormitory, but when I entered the room, there was a box lying on the bed. Meanwhile Gavin was still in the living room, so there was only one of me in the room. The box says this is for me. It was full of wonder that I wondered in my mind.

“This is from whom? It can't be from Rein, right? He forgot to buy it for me..”.

“Cassie?”
