Episode 157: All Because of the Fruit
One day I woke up from my deep sleep. The sun seemed to have been as high as a spear with its extremely bright rays piercing through the window and highlighting both of my eyes. I was confused and immediately moved and stretched my body. In addition, it looks Rein who is still sleeping soundly with a bolster pillow in his arms. I finally walked back to the villa with a bag of berries in my shirt. I hurried a little because of the cold that pierced my body.
Upon arriving at the villa, Rein who was previously anxious because he did not see my existence then became upset because he did not tell him at all.
“You from anywhere?” barbarically. He saw me open in a dress with fruits in my hand.
“K—Why did you take off your shirt?” continued confusion.
“I brought the berries I found below,” I replied as I showed them. I put them on the dinner table and then I picked up a new shirt for me to wear.
“What fruits did you pick?” ask Rein while looking at the fruits one by one.
“Neither, for sure I brought strawberries and blueberries,” reply.

I took one strawberry, washed it and ate it. The fruit is sweet with a refreshing sour taste. Rein, who saw me like that, was interested in trying. At the same time he thought of a way to enjoy it. He took the blender and put all the fruit in.
“How about we make a smoothie only?” his proposal.
“It looks delicious. But, is everything edible?” I then felt doubtful.
“The fruits seem familiar to me,” he said as he turned on the blender.

The drink was finally served in two glasses with chocolate-flavored sweetened condensed milk on top. We enjoyed the drink while relaxing on the balcony. I smelled the drink before, and found it to be no sign of danger. Meanwhile, Rein had already consumed half a glass. I who saw it then felt tempted to drink it immediately.

“Hah? Sadath?” Suddenly my eyes opened and I was back at the villa. I who saw him was surprised and immediately moved from my seat.

“Are you okay?” he also asked back.
“I—Iya. A—I'm fine.” Instantly I became confused myself and did not remember anything that had happened before.
“Really? But you just called Cassie's name on,” she continued.
“Cassie? Did I say it?”
“Yes, are you really okay?” My head became heavy and painful. Sadath who saw me half-consciously immediately embraced me. I was so limp I wondered, before I was unconscious.
“K—Why... suddenly so... like... this...?”
