Episode 133: Luxury Dance

The night sky, decorated with stars and moon, is now enhanced with sparks blooming on a black canvas. The people watching were amazed with cheers in every explosion. Meanwhile, the four of us who had just collided were in an embarrassing pose, while the four of our fathers were being engrossed in our mannerisms. We were still shocked and could not believe their presence.

“A—What are you doing here?” ask Gavin.

“Watching fireworks,” he replied smiling.

“B—Not that dad is working?” continue Rein.

“Today is done. Now it's time to find entertainment.” My father, who was looking at me, smirked and said to me.

“Thank you for entertaining us.”

“Ekhem, you guys aren't shy of posing like that?” asked Cassie's father to hold back a laugh. We just woke up and stood up. Fortunately, my clothes were not dirty after lying on the ground.

“M—Sorry! I didn't mean it that way!” lontarku was nervous for Rein. Rein who heard it also seemed to be in the fog. We were so embarrassed in front of our father's eyes. The same thing happened with Gavin and Cassie.

“You look very compatible,” said his father Rein.

“Minds of youth first..” continued my father. I was so panicked that I tried to straighten it out.

“A—I can explain,” I said.

Then we went back to watching the fireworks together. Fireworks are launched. After some time watching to get carried away, the show finally ended and the visitors began to leave the place. We walked together with our father around the festival venue for a moment. That's how long we spent chatting.

“Since when did dad get here?” my many.

“Since this morning,” answered.

“Why can you meet each other?” gavin is confused.

“We establish company cooperation, also with some other companies,” replied his father.

“Large scale cooperation?” rein asked then her father replied to her excitedly. “Quickly!” Some time ago the festival started to get quiet again. Visitors have left the park one by one. The four of us took them to a place.

“Where will we go?” cassie asked confused.

“Back home,” replied his father.

We were on the main road and waiting for something. I still haven't thought about what they're planning. Not long after, a few black luxury cars lined up for us to ride. My dad and I got in the first car. After that we all went to a place opposite the direction of my school.

Along the way, my views were pampered with towering glass buildings with large screens that adorned city life. All the rays of illumination color the streets and the sky. I was amazed at the beauty of the night I was seeing now. We finally arrived at a luxury hotel in the middle of the city. We got out of the car and walked to the entrance.

“Welcome back,” said the waiter who was waiting for us.

“I—This is what it means to go home?” my murmurs gawked, as well as my friends who were also gasping at what they saw. There are a variety of sparkling trinkets and a very spacious lobby room. We were all taken to a restaurant for dinner. There we met with various other company officials.

“Good evening!” call one of the men in a suit who came to us with some of his friends.

“Evening, How’re you doing?” my father then asked me how he was doing.

“I’m great! Just like this night!” reply to the stranger. We listen to their conversation. Then Rein whispered and asked me.

“Yes, I can understand it. But I did not expect that my father could be this great.” replied I was amazed.

“Is this your son?” ask the stranger to my father. They introduced us to them one by one. Soon the dinner will begin. We also parted ways with some of the foreigners.

“See you later,” said we then walked to the dining table which is round and long. The table is decorated with several flower vases and decorated with elegant putin cloth. Shortly after, there came several waiters who brought food and appetizers. At the same time a welcoming voice sounded from the front of the room.

“Thank you for all the attendees who have taken the time to attend on this special night.”

“Please enjoy your evening with great happiness!”

Everyone cheered with great joy. Dish after dish we ate one by one. I felt so happy to taste the sumptuous food and it must have been delicious. Gavin who usually eats quickly now does the opposite. He wanted to enjoy the tongue dance that was in his mouth slowly. I, who still could not believe all this, asked my father.

“Since when did Dad become like this?”

“It's been a long time, but you didn't realize it. Dad didn't tell you either,” he replied smiling. It turned out that the same thing happened to my friends. They also get the same answer from their fathers.

“Dad doesn't want you to be spoiled with Dad's current position,” he continued. I also understand the meaning of his words. Then we continued the meal until the dessert. After dinner ended, there came a time that everyone was waiting for. Our fathers were all smiling happily, and we had no idea what was going on right now.

“Wah, it's time, yes,” murmured his father Rein.

“You can dance, right?” ask my father to me.

“E—Eh? D—Dansa?” my reply was not thought out. My father answered my question with a nod.

“A—I can't dance?” cassie's mouth is.

“Surely you know a little bit, right? Just do what you can,” said my father grinning. Soon many couples began to fill the hall in front of the room. The four of us were forced to do so. I paired up with Rein and stood with my hands together.

“You ready?” my many.

“I start when you start,” he replied.

A few seconds later, the classical music was played. I slowly moved my legs and swung my arms, as did Gavin and Cassie and the others. Our father just watched us from the dining table. As we made some moves, Rein suddenly tripped on my leg.

“Sorry, be careful..” I said slowly.

“Sorry too,” reply.

We tried to calm down despite making many mistakes. There were even some movements that we improvised to attract some audience attention. Rein and I stumbled and almost fell. Fortunately, we were able to fix it immediately. The music finally came to the end. While doing the cover movement Rein stepped on my foot and fell forward. I swiftly caught it with Rein's position face down on top of my hand. Rein's hand also stretched out. That's when the music finished. Everyone was amazed by our pose at the end of the dance.

“The style of birds looking for prey.” muttered his father Rein flabbergasted.

“Good mention,” reply my father.

“Whether during a kiss or dance, equally unique, yes.” said his father Gavin while intrigued by laughter.

We who were posing like this then woke Rein and with shame we bowed respectfully towards the audience. Both of our faces turned red and we became misbehaved. I said it myself in my mind.

“Jeez, why we always suddenly like this..”.
