The orange sky becomes a beautiful panorama from the top of the building at dusk. The birds were flying in search of their resting place. The larger-looking sun reflects its light with towering glass. Red lights began to light the streets. The noise of the vehicle sounded thin from a height.
We sipped a cup of warm coffee while watching the nature show, but different from Cassie who only drank a cup of tea. However, it still occurred to me about my father's conversation with Cassie's father earlier. They seemed so engrossed in chatting regardless of the two of us. I also ventured to ask them.
“What did that mean? What kind of guess?” manya curious.
“Oh it. It'sit's nothing. Needless to think,” replied my father smiling, yet word by word they previously kept spinning inside my head. I, who could not help it, asked them again.
“Tell me! What did I do wrong?” Calmly, my father put down his cup and tried to calm me down.
“Breath...” I followed her words. “Adelard, if you're wrong, I'll rebuke you. What you're doing now is not a common mistake, but everything you're doing is going to turn to you,”.
“Again wise-ass, yes,” chirped Cassie's dad joking. Both of them were shocked by laughter. I who listened to him was even more confused and did not understand the meaning of everything he said.
“Hah? So I didn't do anything wrong, did I?” Then Cassie's father brought her face closer and spoke to me.
“Begini, we take the example of courtship. It's not wrong you're dating, but when you do that there will be many challenges and can make you guilty.”
“Yah.. If from the beginning you were wrong, you will still be wrong,” my father added. I finally understood the meaning of his words, but I also felt that I had done the wrong thing at the same time.
“J—So, I have to how?” many nervous.
“Jalani only you choose, as long as you think not wrong. You also want to add experience, anyway?” answer father.
“Alright..” reply I bowed, meanwhile Cassie just listened to our conversation from earlier.
“You are the same, Cassie,” her father said.
“Good, Well..” reply.
The day began to darken and the sky blackened. We were still in the cafe and ordered food for dinner. When I opened the menu book, I was again surprised by the price. Cassie, who saw him, responded the same way as me. A few seconds later, my father called a waiter and began ordering, while we were both still dumbfounded as we flipped through the page.
“Adelard, Cassie, what do you want to order? Just say,” Cassie's dad said. I ordered food and drinks at the lowest price.
“I order this and water only,” I said while pointing at the order in the menu book. The servant who intended to take note of it was suddenly stopped by my father.
“You sure? Once in a while the message you really want,” concluded my father.
“But I don't want extravagant, Well,” reply me.
“Adelard, listen here,” continued my father. “For that order first, I'll call you again,” he added to the waiter. The servant has left us no longer there is anyone but the four of us.
“Why, Yah?” many confusions.
“Why did you order the order earlier? Take it easy, I just want to know your reason,” he said seriously.
“Eating is only a need, after all the prices here are very expensive. There are many out there that are available the same menu but the price is much cheaper. Better that money be used for more useful things,” I explained. My father and Cassie's father smiled as they clapped at me.
“Daddy is proud of you! But there are some things you may not know, son,”.
“There is a need and desire. I totally agree that we should attach importance to the need. But you have to remember, you're just a human being with a desire. As long as your needs are met, there is no harm in fulfilling your wishes.”
“Tomorrow is not the same as today,”.
“Bijak does not mean you have to meet your needs, right? You're right to say that we should save for an uncertain future. But, do not let you regret the various rare opportunities that are missed just because you want to hoard your money,” he explained.
“Intinya enjoy the time there. Counting comforting and calming down,” continued Cassie's father and my father spoke again and ended it.
“Do not harbour all your desires.”
“The money that runs out can still be searched, but moments like this will not be searched again..” I was down and took the menu book. My father called back a servant while asking me.
“Do you know what order to order now?” I replied with a big smile towards him.
After spending the evening meal was getting late and the sky began to show the beautiful stars. The moon that shone brightly accompanied us as the night fangs froze everything. We went down the glass building and walked back to the dormitory in a car. The panorama of the city became the beautiful painting I was seeing right now. We finally arrived at the school complex. We parted with our father.
“Thank you. Good night.”
“Bye.”
Arriving at the dormitory I opened the door and we walked inside, but there was no one there. We who realize it are surprised and confused.
“Where is Gavin and Rein?” mummified worried.
“I tried phone Rein,” said Cassie. I watched Cassie who looked serious with her smartphone.
“He's next door,” he said after hanging up. We also went to the dorm next door. As we were about to go inside, we saw those gathered at the dinner table. Suddenly we blushed a little as a result of being noticed by them with a serious look.
“M—Night..” greetings nervous.
“You from anywhere?” ask Bella curious.
“E—Eh? K—We have a few things earlier,” I replied.
“Cassie The Honest Woman, where did you go earlier?” ask Rein.
“K—Kafe..” replied Cassie bowed. Quickly I straightened it out.
“There were discussions with my father and his father. Senior High School friend business,” lontarku in the fog. We walked up to them and took our seats. A moment after sitting down, Rein suddenly approached me and began to lecture me. I who heard it became dizzy and annoyed at him.
“Oh yes, why would I be the one who has to be like this?” I murmured in my heart. Then it hit my mind an idea and made me smile cunningly unconsciously. Rein who was originally angry for a moment became speechless in fear and confusion.
“A—What's up, Adelard?”
“Do we have to deal with all this?” continue many. Rein panicked and made a joke.
“Su—Suday? A—A—What does it mean? ‘I—Itu’? I ti—dak want to end it! M—Sorry!” He bowed and begged me.
“I became dizzy because of your talk earlier. So, do not occasionally you..” infuriated me with a low tone.
“B—Good! I gotcha! I'm sorry!” Suddenly there was a feeling inside me to justify it.
“Aduh... Pundakku achy,” said while moving the shoulders. Rein quickly went to bed and massaged my shoulders. I was relieved but I put on a flat face. My friends just silently gawked at my attitude that they had never seen before.
“K—You... me—horrible... Adelard...”.
