Episode 53: Kingdom of Snitheria
The cheers and the crowd along this hallway enlivened the atmosphere and made Cassie and I blush in shame. I'm a little upset about what happened plus something that didn't go according to the original plan.
“Open the king, hold his hand,” Eledarn said before us like a knight. I'm getting more and more crap about all this. But what they can do, it seems like this is what they all want. I can't dodge it during the event there's no problem. But something stuck in my mind.
“Why is there a red carpet here?” I asked Eledarn.
“Oh yes, the road to the hall is to follow the carpet, my lord,” said Eledarn dashing. Then he put his mouth to my ear. “Come on, just today. Show me the best,” whispered. I also replied with a smile.
Then several organizers in bodyguard costumes opened the road accompanied by trumpet players accompanying our steps. None of this was in any of the proposals or plans we had previously proposed.
“It looks like they have prepared everything for the sake of ak—Not.. but for the smooth running of this event,” my mumbling in heart.
Step by step we walked made me aware of everything they were preparing for this festival. I was more and more amazed by the people who wore medieval folk clothes. This morning I saw them in their regular uniforms. Coupled with the royal posters stamped on the walls and their enthusiastic cheers. At first glance I really feel back to that time.
“Long life of the king!” Those words and such were thrown from them. I became carried away and waved my hand while standing dashing and wise. We finally arrived in front of the hall. A sense of amazement and astonishment was immediately present after seeing the room being modified in such a way as to be a royal castle.
“Wah... Beautiful once,” said I was flabbergasted.
“Please enter, O majors,” said Eledarn back.
Arriving on stage, the host mengnajutkan event with the opening to be delivered by me and Cassie. But we were surprised again by the presence of the host played directly by the principal. The trumpet is buzzed just before the opening procession of the festival.
“O ladies and gentlemen, together we listen to the speech that will be delivered directly by His Majesty, King Adelard Lavient and Queen Cassie Elaina to open the seventy-three hundredth Snitheria festival!” the headmaster excitedly.
Then Cassie and I gave a welcome together. Again the smile and amazement was still sweet on the faces of the audience who came to visit from all over Snitheria. A theme like this seemed like something new to them. Naturally people were very enthusiastic about the festival this time.
“Thus, this year's working festival we open,” said Cassie and me together. A happy smile was inevitable from us.
Next the event continued with visitors who were freed to enjoy every corner of this kingdom. Each class has been turned into places in the middle ages. Cassie and I went around with the guards. But the number of people who want to meet us makes us overwhelmed. Cassie and I were being fought over by them. I can only look in my heart with full hope.
“God, strengthen me today only..”.
