Episode 118: The Middle Harmonic Duet of the Concert
The day began to darken and the sky showed its most beautiful appearance. Various colors mixed up up there. The conditions around us are not too crowded. The lights started to light up and decorate the urban nightlife. Rein and I were still sitting quietly on the park bench while looking at the charming panorama. Until finally the sky has been black and the place of the festival has been enlivened with trinkets from sparkling lights. We decided to get up and walk around the festival.
“Let's go to the concert, who knows we can meet the others,” I told Rein.
“Quickly, the feeling we just walked together,” said Rein. I who heard it suddenly became confused as if I lost my mind. Due to enjoying the scenery too much, I was not too aware of what Rein was talking about. We both stopped walking.
“Hah? How's it? Suddenly my mind was empty,” my throw while bringing my ears closer to him.
“Haduh... There-there's only you here,” Rein reply tickled with laughter. I who did not understand anything just fell silent with a confused face.
“Ya already, let's continue the road,” Rein continued to me.
We both walked back on foot on a footpath made of stone blocks. Until finally we had approached the concert area and a thunderous sound began to be heard clearly from where we were standing. Upon arrival at the rear of the audience, Rein and I could not see any of my friends. The denseness of people who stick to each other makes it difficult to recognize their faces. Now is the time for the performance of one of the most famous music groups in the world.
“You see closer?” take me.
“Not necessary. It also sounds obvious from here. I don't want to push around with that sweaty audience,” Rein replied as he watched from a considerable distance away from the stage.
Fortunately, there is a big screen that shows the appearance of it. I who enjoyed the song too much then hummed unconsciously, as well as Rein. Until one day, the band sang a duet between a boy and a girl. I also sang with Rein with faces staring at each other.
“Now I see you..”.
Then there was a rumbling sound with applause and cheers. Rein and I smiled at each other. By the time the two of us turned our faces towards the stage, we were suddenly startled by the reaction of the audience around us clapping at us. I became confused because of our voice that was touched with the sound of singing coming from the loudspeaker. Then Rein and I just smiled and looked down and faced them all.
“Thank you... Thank you..”.
The situation is quite different between the leading audience place and the audience around us. One of the members of the band who noticed it told the singer and asked him to go on stage. With a sense of alignment, the singer pointed at us. Hearing and seeing it directly suddenly made me shocked and did not think that it really happened. It really feels like a dream. To the point that I'm out of words and have a hard time speaking.
“R—Rein.. C—Cubit me...” mumbled slowly. Rein pinched my cheek and it hurt. Then I realized that the events now are real. With a face flabbergasted in disbelief, I walked with Rein towards the stage. After being on stage, we were asked to introduce ourselves to each one of us.
“What makes you admire the audience there?” ask the female singer with a sense of alignment. While holding the microphone, I told him what had happened. After hearing that, people cheered at me.
“Wah, it's not wrong we called you two,” the female singer said with a smile.
“How about they sing that song again? Agree no, audience?” throw the male singer towards the audience. Instantly they were all the people present cheering loudly and in unison.
“Agree!”
Then we both sang it again one more time on stage. This time I sang it with more passion than before. The audience watched a lot consisting of couples who spent time at this concert. Everyone sang with us. The warm atmosphere made me feel comfortable and happy.
On the other hand, some of my friends were still touring around the concert venue. Gandra, Rhean, Bella, and Icha were not far from where we were. They are busy enjoying the food sold on the main road. Until they finally heard the sound of singing that seemed familiar to them.
“Looks like I know this sound,” cetus Bella confusion.
“Like the sound of Adelard and Rein,” murmured Gandra slowly. Those who heard it instantly realized it and confirmed Gandra's words just now.
“Well that's it!” lontar Icha's.
“The voice is very good,” continued Bella who is still amazed by my voice. Before, he couldn't believe my voice when I sang at a small performance venue this afternoon.
“They perform on stage?” icha asked around.
“Come we'll get there!” invite Rhean who is increasingly curious about the appearance of the two of us. Then the four of them rushed towards the audience area. Because of the crowd that piled up on the front, so they just watched us from behind. The beautiful and harmonious appearance makes them think as if they are watching a pair of professional singers.
“They look harmonious once,” blow Bella can't believe.
“They both should be singers!” lontar Rhean was stunned. Then the four of them watched our performance until it was over.
Meanwhile, Gavin and Cassie who were also not far from the concert stage then watched the two of us. Suddenly they were both immediately flabbergasted in disbelief and difficult to put out words.
“Harmonis once..” Gavin's grunts gaped, as well as Cassie who just opened her mouth and eyes wide.
“Suit once they. Aren't you, Cassie?” gavin continued, but Cassie was still focused on the appearance she saw directly with her own two eyes. Then Gavin called Cassie to wake up and respond.
“Cassie?” Gavin also waved his hand before his face. Shortly thereafter Cassie regained consciousness and became misbehaved.
“E—Eh? What's up?” reply wave.
“What do you think about their relationship? Fits, doesn't it?” ask Gavin back to him.
“If it were me...” hiss Cassie was very slow and made Gavin confused because he could not hear it clearly.
“Hah? What did you say?” Soon Cassie became numb and her mind was just thinking about something.
“M—I mean.. Eee...” muttered Cassie blushed shyly. “Yah... They look very harmonious,” he added with a faint smile towards Gavin. Gavin becomes astonished by Cassie's sudden strange behavior.
“You all right?” gavin asked a little worried about her.
“It's okay,” he replied nervously. Then Gavin sighed hoping in a very slow tone and smiled.
“Hopefully we can also like that..”.
