Substitute Bride For Young Master

Substitute Bride For Young Master
Chapter 136: You're going home, aren't you?

After believing Kinara was safe with Lorie, Alex rushed up the stairs. That grudge or whatever problem it was, had to be resolved today, in this place. Nathan refuses to bother his family again, mustn't go after Kinara, mustn't hurt Billy, or do other vile things. The man must be stopped.

"Where is he?" alex asked a guard standing at the end of the stairs.

"Go to the roof top, sir. Trying to escape in a helicopter" the man replied, giving Alex a way, "Nick is trying to prevent it."

"Damn!"

Alex ran as fast as he could, jumping two steps at a time towards the third floor. His troops followed swiftly. Can't be late. Nathan would have been more careful if the mission failed this time. Perhaps the man will destroy all evidence, including all known locations. If that happens, Alex is not sure he will have the opportunity he is today.

He pressed the communication button and spoke to Nick.

"Nick, don't let him go! Hold him at all costs!" his orders. One more floor. He just passed the third floor.

There was a rustling sound before Nick's voice could be heard.

"Copy that, Captain. I lost half the army. We need backup and paramedics as soon as possible."

"Hold on. I'll be there soon."

Alex pressed a button next to his glasses and moved the communication channel.

"Doctor Ana, where are the paramedics? We need it now!"

"Give me two seconds, sir," replied Ana's doctor, examining the rectangular screen in her hand that displayed satellite imagery, "Jason and Bryan had just arrived with the medical team. They're combing through the entrance gate."

"good. Thank you." Thank you."

Alex broke contact and focused on the iron door that separated him from the top of the building. He knelt down and aimed at his long range DXL-3 sniper by resting on his thigh, then gave a warning to one of the team members to open the door.

The sound of the iron door crashing collided with the roar of a helicopter propeller that spun rapidly in the air. Alex's eyes squinted behind the reticle to sharpen his vision. It appeared that a man wearing an anonymous mask was sitting quietly inside the heli, while the troops around him continued to fire ammunition blindly in all directions.

Dsien!

Klang's!

Klang's!

Alex got down and rolled to the side. Bullets rippled past his head and hit the stairs behind him. Almost got his brain splattered.

He pressed the red button and called Nick.

"Where's your position?" tanyakanya.

"Lightfighter tower, sir, to the left of the entrance."

"Remove a look at his army, I'll get out."

"Yes, Sir!"

Nick aims his gun and shoots at his enemy with an AK-74M. The presence of Alex and additional troops makes his spirit flared again. Blood splashed everywhere, one by one barricades around Nathan falling with holes in their heads or chests. Bodies lurked between pools of blood and bullet casings.

Alex who saw the opportunity to attack was already open immediately on standby.

"Protect me! Catch that bede*that's alive!" he shouted at his men before advancing.

On top of the helicopter that had been airborne for nearly 3 miles from the battle site, Kinara watched all of it from the monitor screen on her lap. All of Alex's helmets are equipped with micro CCTV cameras that are directly connected to the live broadcast network to this monitor, including her husband's helmet. So when he saw Alex's head almost hit by a bullet, Kinara's heart felt slumped from its place.

"Nara, give it back to me. I have to monitor the condition of the master, "lorie pinta. Actually, he was not allowed to give the object to Kinara, but the woman insisted until she finally relented.

He clicked on the display from a monitor screen showing a picture of the man wearing an anonymous mask inside the helicopter.

"Lorie, who is this guy?" tanyakanya.

"Isn't that Nathan? The master is trying to hold him back from escaping."

Kinara's forehead frowned deeply. It magnifies the image to the maximum. As he recalled, Nathan was wearing a black robe, why was the man in the helicopter wearing a deep red suit? Then ... despite being covered in a mask, the man's hair was clearly black in all, while Nathan's hair was silvery. He swiped the cursor to make sure his vision was not wrong.

That man is not Nathan!

Kinara suddenly became nauseous when she was convinced that she did not see wrong. The man on the helicopter did not look like Nathan at all!

"Lorie," called Kinara with an alert intonation, "I think it's a trap. Quickly tell Alex to back off! Hurry along! Call my husband!"

"What did you say?" Lorie almost jumped out of her seat. "Are you sure?"

"Yes! I didn't see wrong! That man is not Nathan! There was no way he could ever change clothes in such a precarious situation. That must be a trap. Hurry up and tell Alex to get out of there!" pinta Kinara was in a panic. He could not imagine .. did not want to think about the bad possibilities that could happen ...

"good. You calm down first" Lorie said as she pressed the communication button.

However, the sound of a violent explosion was first heard in the air. Waves from the explosion even felt up to here, making the heli they were riding in turbulence. Clumps of fire and black smoke resembling mushrooms were visible from a distance. Lorie choked until the movement of her hand floated in the air. He hasn't contacted Alex. His brain suddenly froze.

"No! Nah! Alex!" kinara screeched as the monitor screen on her lap displayed a random horizontal line before turning into total darkness.

"Go back there! Lorie, we have to go back there! Alex ... Alex ...!"

He kept shouting and pulling Lorie's hand. Tears flooded his face until his eyes blurred.

"My husband, Lorie ... save my husband ...."

His heart hurts. It was so painful that he thought he was almost dead. To imagine Alex being there, in that place that was just destroyed .. No, it feels better that he died too. He does not want to be left alone ....

"Sorry, Nara. Master asked me to take you home," Lorie said with a misguided expression. He was worried about his master, but the order he received was to make sure Kinara returned home safely.

"Lory!" Kinara removed her seatbelt and stood up. "I'll jump if you don't take me back there!" threaten her.

"good. You sit down first" persuaded Lorie. He took off his seatbelt and grabbed Kinara's shoulder.

"We will fall if you keep moving, the pilot can lose balance" he added, pulling Kinara back to his seat. His other hand reached into the pocket of his pants and pulled out a needle, then lightning-fast thrust the object into Kinara's arm.

"But we have to go back there, Alex needs .. ah!"

Kinara's body slid into Lorie's arms before she could finish her speech.

"I'm really sorry, Nara, but for you sir .. your safety is number one" said Lorie softly. He rubbed Kinara's body and sat her down carefully, then reattached her seatbelt.

After sticking Kinara's head in her backpack, Lorie tries to contact Alex again.

"Master," he called out even though the static machine sound of the communication device made his whole body crumble, "If you can listen to me, don't worry. He's worried about you, but I know you're going home for him, right?"

Lorie's voice was stuck in her throat. For the first time after an interval he could not remember, he finally cried. Those crystal threads simply flowed, sliding down her flushed cheeks. Both of his hands clenched tightly until the veins protruded clearly.

"Hold, Sir. The second squad is on its way" he added, before turning off the communication device and clutching Kinara's fingers tightly.

There were no more words he could speak even though his head was filled with possibilities, even the worst.
