"Sir, one of the maids tried to sneak out when you and the lady left this morning. We've already arrested him" a bodyguard reported as soon as Alex arrived home.
Alex abandoned his intention to enter. "Take me there" he ordered.
"Alex ...." Kinara touched her husband's arm. "You-you"
"Go get some rest" Alex interrupted.
The man did not want his wife to get involved in dangerous things. The less the girl knows, the better for her safety.
"Be careful" Kinara said.
He pulled his hand back and walked in. Seeing the man's cruelty while punishing Lorie was enough to horrify her. He could not imagine what would happen to the waiter who might have changed his card box. The girl could only let out a long sigh as the roar of her husband's car was heard leaving the courtyard.
The incident made Kinara question everything. Did Benji set him up on purpose? Wh-wh-what for? Why did the young man so badly want to separate him from Alex? Who told him to?
The sympathy and gratitude that the young man had once saved him had slowly faded away. It could be, Benji himself who arranged an attack on him at that time, right?
The more thought, Kinara's head felt increasingly dizzy. This whole thing is too complicated.
"Hopefully all these problems will be resolved soon" he hoped.

A heart-wrenching howl greeted Alex as he entered the door of the "Red Room", as he called it. A special room to interrogate his captives. Here, there were more than three dozen of his troops tasked with making anyone they managed to capture to inform. These people are specially trained for it. They were scattered in different rooms. However, the main room was this red painted door. Here, every means is allowed to make the interrogated captives open their mouths.
In a corner of the room, Alex sees a recently discovered bald man named Neil squabbling with his arms stretched out upward, firmly tied to the iron chains that bound him. A bodyguard was holding an electric shock device and sticking it on the man's head.
Neil's condition is terrible. His right eye was badly damaged, while the surface of his skin was peeling here and there. Remnants of dried blood leave blackish-red patches on the pants and floor. The man's body weight has shrunk drastically since Alex last saw him.
The bodyguard stopped his activity when he saw Alex coming in. He walked over to his master and reported, "The man still does not want to speak, sir."
Alex sneered cynically. "Don't let him die. I wonder how long he can last."
"Well," the bodyguard replied as he nodded obediently.
"Where's the waiter?" alex asked, acting like he didn't see a woman tied up next to Neil.
"There's here, sir," replied the bodyguard standing by the woman's side. He pulled the servant's hair until a moaning sound came out of the woman's mouth.
"Who told you to?" snapped it.
The woman was silent, but seemed to be trying to fight back. His breath sounded rough and disjointed. Alex knew he was scared to death. Who is not afraid to be in a room with people who are being tortured all out? Alex did deliberately ask the woman to be put one room with Neil to drop his mentality. That way, he will be more easily conquered.
"Why did you change the contents of the gift box my wife brought?" ask Alex calmly.
"It's not me" elak the woman. He lowered his eyes, not daring to look at his master's face despite knowing he could not see. For some reason, the aura of this man before him felt completely different.
Alex snorts. "Don't waste my time. My bodyguard won't go wrong catching people. Tell me who told you to."
Alex's tone of voice still sounded calm and flat. Even so, the tone of the voice can make anyone who hears it feel daunted.
"Not me."
The waiter is still trying to deny. He couldn't tell who paid him. If he opens his mouth, his whole family will die.
"Don't test my patience" Alex said, "Who sent you?"
All at once, the sound of disgust filled with disdain echoed in the room. Alex's forehead frowned when he saw Neil's body shaking from his laughter. The man's expression looked extremely scornful. Alex's face darkened when he realized the man was laughing at him.
"You're so funny, you know?" nile taunted, "You run here and there, trying to figure out who wants your life, but I'm telling you one thing. You're not gonna make it. This guy, he's better than you. He is the ruler of hell. Even the devil was afraid of him."
Neil chuckled softly before replying, "That's because he still wants to play around with you. When he's bored, he'll finish you off like a helpless ant."
"Is that so?" Alex tapped on the wheelchair with his index finger. "So you're not gonna say anything?"
"I'd rather die than give you what you want" Neil said.
"Take equipment number twelve" Alex told his bodyguard.
Two bodyguards opened the glass box and took out the device in box number 12.
Neil shook his head as the bodyguard walked towards him. He was trained to endure pain. For that, he will accept everything until the end. Even though he would rather die than live. At the very least, death does not bring pain.
"Emph!"
The muscles all over the man's body stiffened as giant scissors separated his fingers one by one. His teeth and jaw were tightly clenched until the veins in his temple and neck protruded as if almost ruptured.
Cracks.
Cracks.
Cracks.
The sound of scissors clashing with bones produced a loud crackling sound.
"F*ck you!" as Neil said, he saw pieces of his finger lying on the floor. Soreness and pulsation hit the nerves and senses of feeling.
"Speak, if you don't want to be as lucky as he is," Alex scolds his now pias-faced maid.
"It's not me. I don't know shit. You've wrongly arrested people, sir."
Alex's patience was exhausted already hearing the denial.
"Give him a lesson!" his orders.
The woman who was still wearing the maid uniform glared in fear when she saw the giant scissors now being brought towards her. Two bodyguards on his right and left hold his palm tightly, straightening his fingers that he was trying to clench. However, his efforts were futile, his strength was not comparable to the strength of the men holding him.
"T-no .. ti-dak .. b-not me, not ... Aargh!"
Painful cries echoed in the room as one of the woman's index legs fell to the floor. His right hand was covered in blood. Her tears are pouring down. He bit his lips with all his might to ease the pain. However, a heart-wrenching scream was heard again when one of his middle finger segments slipped from the joint.
"Say, who paid you."
"I don't know," the woman replied with a gasp, "I was just given the order to exchange the contents of the gift box for the photos."
"Where did you get that photo?"
"Don't know. It was on my doorstep last night. Complete with instructions on what to do. Otherwise ... My family will be killed."
Tears flowed back on the woman's cheeks. "I tried to tell your bodyguard, but then .. then ... My son disappeared this morning. I don't know how to. Forgive me, Mr. .. forgive me ...."
Neil laughed again. "Your family is dead. Everything is dead" he said without looking at the woman next to him.
"No! Can't! Sir, please save my family! Please, Master! Save them! I beg you," raved the woman.
"Go to this woman's house, take all her family members to the shelter."
Alex gave orders to his men. If this woman can give you a little hint, everything can become easier to solve.
