As soon as the door opened, what was first caught by Lorie's eyes was a man wearing a dark blue suit in the middle of the room. The man sat on the very end of the chair, staring seriously at the laptop screen before him. His firm posture while sitting looks charming. A pair of thick black eyebrows that ran across his forehead gave off a domineering and formidable impression. Perhaps due to hearing the sound of the door opening, the man looked up. Right at that moment, the gazes of the two met in midair.
The emerald green iris with extremely plump eyelashes did not release her gaze from Lorie. A row of clean white teeth was seen when a smile appeared on the man's face. Had it not been the years of self-control exercises he had done, it seemed like Lorie would have hit the end of the table from being stared at in such a way by the man.
“Halo, Miss. I really didn't think it was you. Welcome,” greet the man while standing up from his chair and extend a hand towards Lorie.
“I'm Daniel, hopefully we can work together in the future,” he said again while shaking Lorie's hand tightly.
Despite a slight frown on her forehead due to that unusual welcome, Lorie kept smiling and replying, “Halo, Mr. Daniel. I'm Lorie, a representative of the Jotuns Corps. Hopefully we can work together.”
“Good. Please sit down, Miss Lorie.”
Daniel sat back in his chair and asked his secretary to display their presentation on the projector screen. Lorie carefully observed all the charts and descriptions described by EON’s. It was 90% as expected by Alex, and he was quite satisfied. The addition of some points put forward by Lorie was well received by Daniel. This makes the meeting run smoothly and finish early.
“Thank you, Mr. Daniel. Happy to work with you,” Lorie said after signing a contract with EON’s Company.
“Sama-sama, Miss Lorie. To celebrate, how about I buy you lunch?”
Lorie was quite surprised to hear the offer. His movement that was tidying up the documents and putting them into the bag came to a halt for a moment. He turned to Daniel and found the man staring at him intensely. For the first time, Lorie felt a little nervous.
“Thank you for your offer, Sir. But I have a meeting with another client. Maybe next time?” reply Lorie while lowering her eyes.

Somehow Lorie felt Daniel's tone sound a little disappointed. He dismissed the thought, then got up and said, “See you later, Mr. Daniel.”
“See you again, Miss.”
