Fortunately, what Daniel believed was true. Lorie was pushed out of the ICU room half an hour later in good health, despite being unconscious. The infusion was still attached to his hand and his face was still very pale, but other than that, there was nothing to endanger his safety.
Lorie is transferred to the intensive care room, and Alex convinces Daniel to stand guard next to the woman. Daniel was so grateful that he almost jumped forward to hug Alex. If not for fear of being presumptuous and being impolite, Daniel would have done so long ago.
The man sat with Alex Smith in a front room that looked more like a living room, while Lorie's grooming bed was on the inside, separated by a light brown door. In fact, Daniel felt that the treatment room was not inferior to the VIP rooms in five-star hotels. Her boss seems very royal.
Alex loosened his tie because he felt tight. The adrenaline being pumped all over his veins made him feel like he was about to explode. When told that Lorie passed out at the playground, she went straight out of the office and to the hospital address sent by the shadow bodyguards. He almost had a heart attack.
After feeling a little relaxed, Alex turned his attention to the pensive man opposite her. He had to admit, Lorie's taste was pretty good. The man didn't look bad at all. Compared to Raymond Dawson, it seems that this man named Daniel Hill is more reliable. Only, he had never seen the man around Broocklyn before. Where did Lorie know him?
Alex cleared his throat and asked, “Do you live in Broocklyn, Mr Hill?”
“Eh?” Daniel who was a little surprised because suddenly asked like that. “No. I'm from Dubai.”
“Dubai?”
Alex squeaking. That guy in front of him came all the way from Dubai to Lorie?
“Yes. We met during a meeting at EON’s.”
“Oh.”
Alex leaned back and stared at Daniel intensely. He felt a little familiar with that name. Now he remembers, Daniel Hill was the CEO name of EON’s Company. Then, why didn't Lorie say anything?
Suddenly the door opened and distracted the two men.
Billy steps in with Ana. The two of them immediately approached Daniel and looked at him so sharply that Daniel felt a little intimidated.
“Halo, good afternoon. Do we know each other?” ask the man with a little doubt.
“I heard you are Lorie's lover?” Billy asked back.
“Ya, my name—“
“Daniel Hill. I know,” interrupted Billy with a little impatience. “When did you guys get acquainted? Since when is dating?”
Daniel glanced at Alex as if he wanted to ask for help, but it seemed that the man did not care. Alex also did not correct the attitude of the two guests who sneaked into the treatment room. If so, do they know each other?
Daniel looked back at the man and woman standing before him and gave an answer for himself: it seemed that they knew each other, and he seemed to have no choice but to answer the question.

Daniel raised an eyebrow when he heard the sarcastic sneer coming out from the mouth of the woman wearing the lab coat. For an instant the gazes they met in midair and Daniel could feel an extremely strong aura of hostility from the woman.
How strange. As he remembered he had never offended anyone before. Even these three humans had just met him now. Then why did they seem as if they wanted to swallow him alive?
“What's the problem?” daniel asked because he could not stand the silence that froze the air.
“Problems? Of course you are the problem,” grumbled Doctor Ana. “Do you know that our Lorie is very valuable? Not just any man can be his lover.”
Daniel's eyes flashed with a hint of surprise and a hint of new understanding. So that's the problem? The three people before him felt that he was not competent enough to be Lorie's partner? Really very interesting.
“Are you filing a complaint because she's willing to date me, Doctor?”
“Yes. It was a little abnormal since Lorie had not said anything before. Did you force him?”
Daniel smiled faintly before replying, “You could say so. I didn't give him a chance to dodge.”

Ana's doctor glared at the annoying man sitting quietly on the sofa, but being stared at in such a way that did not even display a change in expression at all, making Doctor Ana even more upset and wanting to punch her in the face.
Billy holds Doctor Ana's clenched hand. He took one step forward and stood between the two feuding men and said, “Say one reason that can make us sure that you will not hurt him.”
The smile on Daniel's face grew wider. He crossed his legs casually and rested his chin with his right hand.
“I will be a good father to the child in his womb.”
The answer given by Daniel was able to make both opponents shaken. It was obvious that they had not expected that answer at all. Even Alex who since the presence of Billy and Ana just observed in silence seemed a little surprised. In an instant the three people had different understandings and judgments regarding Daniel Hill.
Doctor Ana who first rediscovered her consciousness immediately said, “It is better that your words are correct, Mr. Hill. Otherwise, I will make you permanently disabled.”
Daniel coughed softly. Looks like he's actually dating one of the mafia family members.
