The interaction between the two men came to a halt when a nurse called Lorie's name and asked her to come in. With a swift Daniel got up and brought Lorie in.
A gynecologist greeted them kindly and asked Lorie's pregnancy history.
Because it's a different hospital and obstetrician, Lorie doesn't mind explaining the condition of her pregnancy in broad terms.
“Good. Please lie down in bed,” the doctor said after checking Lorie's blood pressure and weight.
The doctor gestured for the nurse to help Lorie get on, but Daniel first held the woman up and put her in bed. His movements were extremely gentle, as if Lorie was extremely fragile and had to be carefully guarded.
“Your husband is attentive once,” seduce the doctor.
Lorie coughed softly and smiled stiffly. He did not deny or agree with the words, just looked straight up and lay quietly. However, as the nurse was about to undress to apply the gel, Lorie dodged and looked at Daniel nervously.
“What?” daniel asked, trying to resist the grin that would appear on his face. That anxious and embarrassed expression on Lorie's face looked extremely cute. He wanted to see how the woman handled the problem.
Lorie could not have overtly kicked Daniel out because other than he was very good and accompanied her to check the contents, the doctor also just praised him as a good husband. Lorie's eyes glazed over looking at the already formed fetus. The baby's hands and feet move slowly, kicking and reaching to the right and left, occasionally squirming as the doctor shifts the transducer. How adorable.
Lorie let out a sigh of relief. Fortunately, nothing happened to the baby at the park. Because of his carelessness, he almost lost the baby.
“I will prescribe vitamins, you can make up for it in pharmacies.”
“Good, Doctor. Thank you,” replied Lorie. Although the medicine and vitamins were still plentiful, he still appreciated the doctor and received the sheet of paper handed to him.
The nurse helped Lorie sit in a wheelchair, then pushed her out of the room.
“Thank you, just here. Soon my husband will be back,” Lorie told the nurse who helped her. Her smile looked very stiff and unnatural when saying the word “husband I”, but luckily the nurse was not paying much attention.
“You sure, Mistress?”
“Ya.”
“Good, then I go back inside first.”
“Oke.”
Lorie circulated her gaze to look for Daniel, but her gaze instead met with a pair of shady eyes that were emitting complex emotions.
