Substitute Bride For Young Master

Substitute Bride For Young Master
Chapter 6's

After a warm and pleasant dinner, Raymond invited Lorie to walk down the riverbank while enjoying the state of Venice City square at night. Lorie very much enjoyed that calm and peaceful atmosphere.

“So, how is Alex doing now?” raymond asked when Lorie mentioned the triplets.

“That's. She did not want to marry again at all, even though the reason was for the sake of children. He said, no woman can replace Kinara...”

“He will not be replaced.” Raymond approved the words of the woman beside him. “One of the kindest and most sincere women I have ever met.

Lorie sighed and turned her head towards Raymond. “Sometimes I think Alex is very sad, but at the same time very strong. I want to have someone who loves me like that.”

Raymond threw a seductive smile as he said, “I'm so sorry that man, so unlucky ...he must have a very strong steel and mental determination.”.

“What do you mean?” asked Lorie while stopping her footsteps suddenly.

At first he thought Raymond was discussing Alex, but when he realized he kept looking at him with a smile, he realized the sentence just now referred to his desire to have a lover who loved him like Alex loved Kinara. Is that guy teasing her?

“Say, what do you mean?” ask Lorie again while scoping and putting on a fierce face.

“No,” Raymond replied, then hurriedly closed his mouth.

Lorie did not believe it and chose to scout the man with the question, “You said my girlfriend would be unlucky? Because you have a lover like me? Am I that bad?”

Raymond held back a laugh and replied, “It wasn't me who said.”

“Raymond Dawson! I can still beat you to the ground, you know that?” lorie shouted as she brandished her fist towards the convoluted Raymond and moved away from her range.

“Hey ... I was just kidding, okay?” Raymond raised both of his hands into the air while still laughing. “Look, you are so fierce. Where anyone dares to approach you.”

“Of course there are! I don't need a rich handsome guy, just accept myself for who I am and—“

“Very cliche. You know that? Very does not match your character and appearance—Aduh!” Raymond grimaced as a fist landed on his stomach. It was not hard, but he deliberately dramatized the beating with a half-cowled posture and grinned as if he was enduring pain.

“Truly cruel ...,” grumbled Raymond slowly. “I'm mistaken, only your appearance has changed, but you are still everything you used to be...”

Lorie snorted and exclaimed ferociously, “That was the result of daring to taunt me!”

“Master, Madam ... You guys look very compatible,” greet a photographer who is standing by the side of the road. “How about taking a photo for a memento? Later when you have children, you can show them that you have come in the most romantic city in the world.”

Lorie was so shocked that she stuttered a little when she wanted to correct that remark, “A-what? K-we don't-”

The man did not seem to see Lorie's paled and panicked face. He smiled very widely and picked up a red rose from inside an aluminum basket near his feet.

“This rose flower perfectly matches the personality of your cheerful wife, Sir. He will be very happy if you give it to him,” he added again while handing the rose stalk to Raymond.

Lorie looked at the old man and Raymond took turns, not knowing what to react to. However, what Raymond did made him even more vulnerable. Instead of correcting the photographer's words, Raymond took a flower stalk and handed it to Lorie. The photographer swiftly captured the moment, then showed it to the two of them.

Under the light of the street light, a man smiled gently as he handed a rose to the woman who looked surprised and blushed. Against the background of the walls and the calm flowing river water, the photo looks like it emerged from a painting of the past. It looks so beautiful and alive. Lorie was at a loss for words as she stared at the photo in her hand.

“Thank you, Sir. The photo is very beautiful,”, Raymond said, handing over a few euros to the old man.

“Sama-sama. May your relationship last forever.”

Lorie. He immediately looked up and interrupted, “We are not—“

The photographer's back had disappeared among the pedestrians. Lorie turned her head towards Raymond and looked at him with a complicated expression.

“Why don't you rectify it?” ask the woman.

“For what? He was just looking for money, words like that he said to every couple he met. You don't have to think about it,” replied Raymond with a faint smile. “Again the photo was very beautiful. The roses are also very fresh. Save it for mementos.”

Lorie clenched her hands and swallowed back all the sentences she wanted to say. Finally he chose to look at the clock on his wrist and said, “It's been quite a night, I'd better go back to the hotel.”

“Away home?”

“Um. Tomorrow you can go for another walk, ” replied Lorie.

“No need,” reject Lorie without thinking twice. “I can take a taxi. You don't have to bother for—“

“No hassle. Come ...” Raymond took Lorie's hand and led her towards the front of the square.

“You're not afraid your lover caught you holding me like this then misunderstood?” lorie asked as she tried to get her hand out of Raymond's.

Raymond glanced at Lorie with a smile.

“Not going. Alice was very open-minded. She won't be angry just because I'm holding another woman on the street.”

Lorie raised an eyebrow and looked at Raymond with an expression of disbelief.

“She trusts you so much to such a stage?” tanyakanya.

“Hum.”

“Or I think ... actually he does not love you until the stage of having to feel jealous of another woman,” added Lorie again, chuckling when she saw Raymond's face turned sour while glaring at her.

“You're still very annoying. Your mouth is also still very spicy,” grumbled the man.

Lorie used the opportunity to release her hand while replying, “I mean it, Raymond. If it were me .. I would definitely be very possessive to my handsome boyfriend.”

“Really? So you think I'm handsome?” tanyakanya.

“Lumayan. Not bad at all ... but still very far from my dream criteria.”

Raymond throbbed and reached out to scramble Lorie's hair in a fit of anxiety.

“Say, where are you staying?”

“Hotel Amber.”

“Oh ... it is very .. coincidence ....” Raymond waved towards the passing taxi. “I also stayed there.”

“Oh ... really?”

“Eng.”

“Sial once my fate.”

Raymond growling, “Lorie ...”

Lorie chuckled and approached the taxi that pulled over near them. Raymond opened the car door and invited Lorie to enter, before he himself entered and sat down next to the woman.

“Hotel Amber, Sir,” Raymond told the taxi driver.

“Good, Mr.” The old man turned on the turnlight and turned towards the main road.

“By the way ... thanks for keeping me chatting. I was thinking of spending some time alone waiting for Alice to come home,” Raymond said.

“Ck. Really tragic. You have to consider whether the woman really loves you or not,” Lorie's tease while putting on a serious face and looking at the man beside her.

“You're very annoying, Lorie.” Raymond sighed helplessly and leaned his body against the car seat.

“Oh ... I did so ..”

The two men laughed and stared at each other for a moment before turning their eyes outside the windowpanes. Light from streetlights and high-rise buildings appears to form a colorful line as the speed of the car increases.

Lorie sighed softly. Whether it was the atmosphere of Venice that made him melancholy or the man beside him who looked very handsome, he felt unable to breathe properly.
