After months of only being able to lie on a hospital bed, Kinara was finally able to feel freedom for the first time. He did not protest at all even though Alex carried him like a baby from the room to the car park. Her husband did not want to let her down even though the nurses had provided her with a wheelchair.

"Do you think pregnancy hormones are contagious?" he asked with a serious expression.

"Why ask like that?" reply Kinara while holding back a laugh.

"I think lately I've become more and more like you. My mood changes quickly, I cringe about trivial things, sleep longer, and nausea when smelling certain foods. Now I even hate the aroma of espresso that is always on my desk every morning. Tell me, how can it be like that?"

This time Kinara could not help but laugh. She was devastated because she felt that her husband's words were very accurate. Alex has been looking like that for a few months. She feels bad for Lorie and Billy who are often victims of emotional outbursts of her husband.

"Why laugh?" alex grumbled while pinching the tip of his wife's nose to redden.

"No dare," Kinara replied as she shook her head nervously.

Her husband's darkened face sent out a distress signal in her head. Indeed doctors say it's safe if they want to .. um, "do something", but ....

Alex growled and rubbed the veins on his wife's throbbing neck. His fingers moved down Kinara's collarbone, then infiltrated through the slightly exposed collar of the shirt.

Alex swiped the ends of the scarf, then carried Kinara out of the car. He walked long steps into their room, pushed the door with his feet, and then closed it back with his shoulders. He walked to the bed and sat Kinara there.

"Don't peek" he said before walking towards the closet and picking something up from there.

"I didn't peek," Kinara replied with a gentle smile.

His body felt comfortable and calm when the scent of their typical room smelled. He swept his hands over the soft surface of the mattress .. ah, he was very impatient to lie down on it.

However, all of a sudden his nerves stiffened when he felt the mattress next to him burst, and Alex's warm gasps his face. She could feel her husband's hand untie her head very carefully.

"Open your eyes" Alex said in a husky, deep voice.

Kinara opened her eyes slowly and looked at Alex who was smiling at her.

"Happy anniversary, Baby" Alex said as he handed a bouquet of red roses to his wife.

"W-what? A-aniv .. oh, gosh .. sorry, I forgot ...."

Kinara closed her mouth with both hands. He was at a loss for words, not knowing how to forget their special day.

"It's been a year ...," he murmured in a daze, "Why is it so fast?"

Alex chuckled softly and pulled his wife's body closer.

"Thank you for an amazing year, Baby," he said sincerely.

""Thank you for an incredible year," replied Kinara with teary eyes.

He hugged Alex by the neck and kissed her lips gently. He wants to convey all his feelings to Alex. She wanted her husband to know that she felt very happy and lucky. He Kinara just released Alex when his lungs were struggling to demand oxygen supply.

Alex raised his wife's body carefully and laid her on the bed. He lay down next to Kinara and caressed her face affectionately.

"I can wait."
