When the doctor came to Lorie's care, Billy immediately pushed forward and dragged Raymond out. He pressed Raymond's shoulder against the wall and glared at him viciously.
“Sway Lorie!” Billy growled with anger. His attitude was truly like he was facing his mortal enemy.
Raymond who did not understand why Billy behaved like that could only hold back his emotions that began to ignite. However, Lorie's condition was not stable. He did not want to make an unimportant fuss.
“Mr Billy, just because I am silent does not mean I am easy to bully,” Raymond said as he put away Billy's hand that pressed him firmly.
Billy sneered and shouted, “So you're great? You feel great for having made Lorie become like that?! Say it! Are you very happy to see him suffer so much?!”
“What do you mean?” This time Raymond was completely confused.
Didn't he just donate almost half the blood in his body to Lorie? He is also the one who wants to save Lorie from a car collision, although it is too late and does not manage to reach her in time. Why is he guilty of Lorie's condition now?
“Billy,” scolds Alex who follows out after hearing the two men's infighting. “Not need to scream like that. He also does not understand.”
Billy glared at Raymond again, looking like he was going to argue and say something, but in the end he just pushed Raymond's body as hard as he could.
Raymong grimaced due to a pretty violent clash with the wall. Actually, the condition of his own body is not stable. He immediately ran to Lorie's treatment room after awakening, but was instead met with cruelty like this. If it wasn't for looking at Lorie, he would have already replied to Billy from earlier.
“Raymond Dawson,” call Alex. He walked up to Raymond and looked at him. For a moment there seemed to be an inner upheaval in the look of his eyes, but he covered it quickly and put on a flat face as usual.
“What can you explain, Sir? What the hell is going on? Why did Mr Billy say this was all my fault?” raymond asked as he returned Alex Smith's slightly intimidating gaze.
Alex lowered his gaze and took something out of his pocket. He handed the thing to Raymond and said, “You saw for yourself. I leave it to you, how would you like to handle it.”
Raymond was a little confused about receiving a medium-sized brown envelope. He looked at Alex Smith questioningly, but the man seemed reluctant to give any clues.
“What is this?” raymond asked after being silent for a long time. He could not guess what the envelope he was holding was.
Raymond didn't want to respond. Since Alex also said nothing, Raymond tore off the tip of the envelope and took out the contents.
One photo slides from inside the envelope and almost falls to the floor, but Raymond catches it. In an instant the astonished and wondering expression on his face disappeared. He looked up for a moment, then rushed out all the contents of the envelope. He quickly checked the sheet by sheet and paper until the hotel invoice at the bottom of the pile.
“No way,” muttered Raymond in a trembling voice. He did not want to believe what was in his hands, but he also knew it was all impossible to engineer.
“If you do not believe, go check to the address that is there,” said Alex without releasing his gaze from Raymond's face.
“Don't forget, your next action that determines whether you deserve to come back here or not,” Alex added again very calmly. However, his calm demeanor actually felt even more frightening, as if there was a non-playful threat in it.
There was no more calm left when Raymond heard that remark. He believes Alex Smith is not an unreasonable person. Therefore, without saying anything more, Raymond immediately turned around and ran towards the parking lot.
He had to make sure of himself, had to see with his own eyes.
Raymond drives like crazy. Twice hit a red light and several times almost grazed other vehicles. The man did not seem to hear the maki curse aimed at him from the other riders, nor the deafening sound of the horn. His head was filled with photos and the address of the hotel he had just seen.
The man swallowed with great difficulty. Alex asked him to handle the matter. Does Alex think he has anything to do with all the accidents that have happened to Lorie? It's worth it Billy went berserk like a crazy bull.
“Job!”
Raymond cursed and punched the steering wheel hard. He punched the object so many times that his knuckles were flushed and scuffed. If everything in the envelope was true, then he deserved to be beaten to death.
The man slammed the steering wheel into the courtyard of The Bries Hotel and stopped in front of the main lobby. He barged in even though the security guard told him that he could not park the car in front of the lobby.
His long, broad footsteps headed straight for the reception desk. Since Alex Smith had asked him to take care of the matter, then he would settle it to the end.
