The morning sunlight hit Kinara's skin, giving a sensation that made him more excited. He raised his feet slowly and set them on the still dewy grass.
"God ...."
Kinara took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. The smell of pine forest made it relax.
"Be careful, Baby," Alex said, holding Kinara's hips and shoulders.
"Yes, dear," Kinara replied as she wrapped her right hand around Alex's arm.
He looked up and smiled happily. Today was their first morning walk together in the courtyard of The Spring Mountains. Yes, Alex brought him back to this house last month because this residence has been empty since the tragedy at the Andromeda Corporation warehouse.
After the deaths of his parents, the Spring Mountains automatically became Alex's. Kinara didn't mind moving here because after all, Alex was born and raised here.
After all, in this place they first met and started the beginning of a beautiful story. She did not mind giving birth and raising their children here either.
"I told you, it's still too early, honey," Alex muttered as he wrapped a coil of scarf around his wife's neck.
"I like the scent of leaves and soil that is wet with dew, very fresh and soothing," Kinara replied with a wide smile still adorning her face.
Both of his legs recovered quite well. Although there was a little bit of discomfort when he walked, the doctor said it was normal because he was carrying three babies with him. It made the burden that was being rested by his feet even heavier. All the uncomfortable feelings will disappear by themselves when the little heroes in his womb have been born.
Alex did not want to argue with his wife and made the woman's mood break. Entering the age of eight, Kinara increasingly difficult to sleep. Sometimes Alex had to stay up all night while rubbing Kinara's back so that his wife felt more comfortable. It was enough to upset and frustrate him that there was nothing else he could do to help his wife.
He also often felt unbearable when he saw his wife's stomach enlarged until his skin seemed to stretch tight, just like a balloon that was blown to the maximum limit. So, when he saw Kinara was in a very good heart condition like now made him feel happy and relieved.
"Wait a minute" he asked, stopping his steps. He faced Kinara, grabbed the end of the woman's sweater and buttoned it.
Now at the end of summer, the weather is cooler and humid than usual. He was worried Kinara would get the flu. His wife's health condition has lately decreased even though the doctor has given the best medicine and treatment. That really made him very worried. However, seeing Kinara face everything by remaining calm was able to reduce her slightly excessive fear.
"Darling!" kinara exclaimed as she pulled Alex's hand and stuck it in her stomach. His eyes shone like a star.
Alex's face instantly turned very enthusiastic. He touched the surface of his wife's stomach gently and muttered, "They kicked."
"Look, they also like the morning air," Kinara said with a wide grin.
Alex's eyes narrowed as the movement in his wife's abdomen began to feel stronger and rougher.
"Are they fighting?" alex asked, feeling a little suspicious of the abnormal movements. Usually their baby moves regularly, not as aggressively as this.
Suddenly Kinara pressed on her right abdomen and began to gasp.
"Lex ...," he hissed in a raucous voice.
"b-api ... Baby ... your legs. Bloods. There's blood" Alex rattles frantically as a thick red liquid flows down his wife's calf.
In just a green tosca dress worn by Kinara changed color. The distinctive rusty iron scent made Alex's hands tremble.
"Lory! Billy!" yelled Alex with all his might. He looked to his left and right for help.
Lorie or Billy shouldn't be too far away. His wife always felt uncomfortable if followed by the bodyguards blatantly, therefore Alex asked Billy and Lorie to keep a distance of several meters behind them.
"Honey, sick ... sick ...," Kinara groaned as she clutched Alex's hand firmly.
"Damn. Billy's! Lorie!" alex shouted again until the veins protruded on his neck and temples.
"Call Ana's doctor and Daniella's doctor now!" he cried again when he saw the two people he called were running towards him.
With sprightly Billy reached into the phone in the pocket of his pants and made a call. While Lorie ran as fast as possible towards Kinara and Alex. He immediately opened his jacket and spread the object on the grass, then immediately helped Alex hold Kinara's body that had been dazed.
Very carefully the two men laid Kinara on Lorie's jacket. Alex put his wife's head on his lap, then rubbed the deathly pale face.
"Cinara. Don't do this, please," Alex pleaded with grief.
They just talked and laughed together. Why everything changed in a matter of minutes.
"What's going on, sir?" asked Lorie with a trembling voice.
Seeing so much blood made him panic because he did not know what to do. He had only ever dealt a gunshot wound or cut, had absolutely no experience to stop bleeding in a pregnant woman like this.
"I don't know. Suddenly he bled" Alex replied. He did not dare to move Kinara without medical equipment or measures.
"Billy, where are they?" alex asks when he sees Billy at his side.
"Doctor Daniella is here. I told him to bring a stretcher, "billy replied quickly.
He rubbed his hair violently and looked up. Kinara's condition made her grieve. So much blood .. its aroma really makes nausea.
No. gabe. It was not the scent of blood that made her feel nauseous, but from the anxiety and worry on the fate of Kinara and the three babies in her womb. He also did not know what to say to strengthen his friend. If Elizabeth had experienced that, she would have lost her mind.
The sound of sirens roaring from a distance made Alex finally able to return to breathing normally. Since then the air seemed to be stuck at the base of his throat. Kinara's hand in his grasp felt cold, colder than the surrounding air which was now increasingly frozen.
Alex wakes up in a daze as several officers in medical uniforms immediately surround his wife.
Oxygen tube.
Infusions.
Blood bag.
Everyone moves very fast. The voice of doctor Daniella's cry giving instructions resounded among the pine trees. Alex looked at his wife's blood clinging to his hands with nanar. His eyes felt dappled as he tried to get up. Fortunately Billy swiftly held it down when it almost fell.
"Hey, careful. Be calm. He'll be fine" Billy said, patting Alex on the shoulder.
"No. She's not okay. She's not okay, Billy ... my kids ...."
Searched Alex follows his wife's stretcher to the ambulance. The wailing siren did not distract him from Kinara's weakly lying body at all. Slowly, he reached out to touch his wife's fingers. Those tiny fingers are ice cold.
Alex's eye pellets are heating up. This is the second time Kinara has been taken to hospital in such a miserable condition. But this time, I don't know why he felt something different.
He clasped his wife's fingers tightly and whispered, "You're not leaving me, are you, Baby?"
