Daniel put down the steak knife and put on a serious face when Lorie finished her phone call. He was curious, what caused the look of Lorie's face to look anxious.
“What's up, Honey?” he asked without taking his eyes off the face of the woman before him.
Lorie squinted and growled softly. He almost vomited every time Daniel called him “Sayang”, but he knew he couldn't change anything about it. After she agreed to their ridiculous deal yesterday, the man was almost at all times by her side and made her feel like they were conjoined twins.
“Why look at me like that? Am I very handsome?” daniel asked, raising his eyebrows.
“The feeling of not knowing your embarrassment is really amazing,” Lorie quipped. “It's increasing every time. How did you train him? I need to learn a lot from you.”
Daniel was not affected by the taunts at all. He just grinned indifferently and asked again, “There's a month if you want to learn. Free for you."
Lorie snorted in annoyance and chose not to respond to the remark.
"Is there a problem? Who called earlier?” ask Daniel again.
Once again Lorie snorted, this time quite loudly. He knew he had to answer that question. Otherwise, Daniel would have been haunting all day until he wanted to tell him.
“My boss asked me to go back to Broocklyn.” Lorie pushed her plate which was still filled with half a piece of steak into the middle of the table. “I have to go back to the office now.”
He calls the waiter to pay the bill, but Daniel sabotages it first and pays off all their lunch expenses.
“Don't I tell you I bought this time?” lorie protest.
“No need. You want to accompany me to eat only I am very happy,” reply Daniel while opening the door for Lorie.
“Thank you.”

Lorie rolled her eyeballs and did not care about the man beside her until they arrived at the parking lot. He remained silent as Daniel started the car and drove it out of the restaurant's courtyard.
Staring out the window, his mind drifted far away.I imagine Amber lying sick making him quite anxious. The little girl was very spoiled for him. Perhaps now the servants were overwhelmed because he did not want to eat or take medicine.
That thought involuntarily made Lorie sigh and close her eyes. He missed the little girl too. Because of his problems with Raymond, he was not satisfied playing with triplets, but was forced to leave Broocklyn in a hurry.
“What is there? What's the problem seriously?” asked Daniel who always paid attention to Lorie's movements.
“No. My boss' daughter is sick and wants to see me. She ... um, already like my own daughter.”

Lorie pretended not to hear that shameless shout and rushed towards the entrance. He must have gone crazy for accepting the man's idea two days ago.
