Raymond thought Lorie would ask him to take them to the Spring Mountains. Who would have thought Doctor Ana would ask him to take the left lane upon entering West Avenue. However, Raymond did not ask much as the woman pointed out the route to go.
She followed Doctor Ana's instructions obediently as the woman told her to enter the courtyard of a multi-storey building that looked like an ordinary building.
“You sure you want to come in?” ask Lorie.
Seeing his slightly suspicious expression, Raymond became doubtful. What do they want to do in there? Discuss projects with foreign investors? Or lunch with a client? At most only the possibility of relating to such things, ‘kan?
After pondering inwardly for a moment, Raymond finally nodded steadily and replied, “Yes, I'll come in if you don't mind.”
“I don't mind, it's just .. don't regret,” Lorie replied while commenting on a thin smile.
The faint and slightly mysterious smile made Raymond again doubt his analysis. Was there anything else that the two men had hidden?
Although his mind was filled with questions, Raymond had no time to change his decision anymore. He could only tail behind Lorie and Doctor Ana who seemed to be very familiar with the building before them. The two security men even greeted and bowed respectfully as they entered.
“Is this one of Alex Smith's buildings?” asked Raymond, who was getting curious.
“You could say so,” replied Lorie.
“Is this an office? But the shape is more like an *club*.”
“You could say this is an office that doubles the club,” replied Lorie.
He held back from laughing at Raymond's question just now because honestly he was also thinking the same thing when Alex explained the concept of Blue Eyes. When the building is finished, he just understood that Blue Eyes is an *club* that takes care of the hidden “job” branch.
Blue Eyes are not as calm as they appear on the surface. However, if anyone wants to investigate this place, then they will only find that Blue Eyes is just an ordinary club devoted to members from the elite. So broadly speaking, Blue Eyes is the perfect camouflage to do all the "dirty" work".
Ana's doctor touched the biometric scanner on the side of the elevator with her thumb, then helped Lorie in when the elevator door opened. “What's up? Why is your face so tight?” asked Lorie while holding back a laugh.
“Eh? No. .. I just .. um, curious ...” Raymond smirked clumsily and rubbed the back of his head at a glance.
“You will know soon.”
Lorie smiled widely and gestured for Ana to open the secret room—the space where somehow many people had lost their lives in it; I don't know how many people expect to die rather than live there.
Not until a minute later, a faint humming sound was heard from the front. Raymond stared at the wall moving up before him without any expression. He still could not guess what made Lorie behave so mysteriously. And again, what is this place?
Totally suspicious ....
Is Alex Smith doing illegal business in this place? Buy human organs for example. Or pros*titution for minors? There's no way Lorie and Doctor Ana are involved in such things, right?
Raymond shuddered in horror at his thought. He hurriedly shook his head violently, as if that creepy image that had just appeared would tampias out of his head.
Whether what Lorie wanted to do or show, she was sure that it couldn't be as bad as what she had just imagined.
