Substitute Bride For Young Master

Substitute Bride For Young Master
Chapter 149: Until the Next Life

Kinara's stretcher was taken to one of the guests in the Spring Mountains who had been converted into a maternity room. Alex had asked Daniella's doctor to modify and sterilize the room so that if Kinara contracted at any time, they wouldn't have to travel long distances to the hospital. However, he did not expect that eventually the room would become an operating room for Kinara.

It was as if he had lost half his life, stood and stared blankly at the tightly shut door. Doctors Daniella and Ana did not allow him to enter at all. That made him guess how serious the condition was experienced by his wife.

Lorie walked back and forth through the market while saying all the do'a she knew. Billy was stuck by the window. Elizabeth stood next to him as she rubbed her arms slowly. Everyone in the room was really depressed. Every second that spins feels very slow.

When finally the sound of the baby's cry breaks the silence, Alex doesn't know to jump in because she's happy or sad. The little babies were born prematurely. Moreover, he still did not know how Kinara was doing. Anxious and nervous, the man stared at the door like he had just stared into Medusa's eyes.

A few minutes later, Doctor Ana appeared from behind the door with a serious look.

"We need blood type B rhesus negative. There are still some bags here, but Dr. Daniela is worried it won't be enough. Madam had postpartum bleeding" she explained before Alex could ask.

He stepped forward while taking off his operating suit and continued, "We've contacted several hospitals, but the blood stock that matches that of Miss Kinara is not there. Maybe you have a connection that can get it."

"How much do you need?" ask Alex with bitterness. If he could, he would have replaced his wife in there and endured all the pain.

"A lot to get. Your wife had a placental abruption. We can't be sure until when the bleeding will stop."

"I'll look for him" Lorie said when she saw her master was just glued to the spot without responding. He immediately reached into his cell phone and dialed emergency numbers on his contacts.

"A ... what ab-abruption?" rework Alex after successfully gathering his concentration. Right now his mind was completely branching out everywhere.

"Pacental abruption."

Doctor Ana sighed softly before explaining, "The Placenta detached from the uterine wall prematurely. It seems to have happened due to the influence of an accident a few months ago, plus twin pregnancies made the wall of her uterus not strong and caused a uterine rupture, a tear in the uterine wall. It makes the three babies move up to the abdominal cavity and-"

"Enough! I can't hear it anymore."

Imagining the suffering experienced by Kinara made Alex almost lose his mind. Now his entire body was completely trembling. His blood-red eyes stared blankly at Ana's doctor. He knew the woman and Dr. Daniella had given her all. All treatment and prevention to the fullest has been done. He did not want to blame them for what happened to his wife, but ....

"What about the baby?"

"They're fine. Now in the incubator. You can meet them after the nurse takes them to the next room."

Alex took a breath. He did want to see his three children, but at this time, he wanted to see Kinara's condition.

His voice sounded like a whisper as he said, "I want to meet my wife ...."

"You can't-"

"I want to see my wife!" alex yelled, causing Ana's doctor to jump back.

The woman was too surprised to see Alex's reaction. All this time, he had never seen Alex behave like that. He was just about to open his mouth to say something. However, the sound of the door creaking open made him look back.

Doctor Daniella looked straight at Alex and said, "Master, if you want to meet the madam, please come in."

Doctor Ana swallowed her bitter-tasting saliva. He knew what the reason his partner gave Alex permission to enter. Suddenly his eyes dew. He took off his gloves and walked over to Billy's side. His heart hurts too. Alex is a good guy, it's not worth it like this.

Alex walked in with a girder. Seeing Kinara lying helplessly like that left her deeply devastated. His heart seemed to be squeezed to pieces. Half his soul was struggling there. His chest movements that rose and fell very slowly seemed to endure unbearable pain.

All the hoses and needles that stuck in his wife's skin looked like monsters that were absorbing the essence of his life, looking for a gap and ready to take the poor soul at any time.

"I've tried my best, sir, but .. um, if you have the connection to find a better doctor, I don't mind," doctor Daniella said as she looked at Alex who looked very sad. He really can't say that maybe his wife won't survive.

Alex fell silent. Ana's own doctor recommends that her partner keep an eye on Kinara's pregnancy, so Alex knows the woman's ability must be beyond doubt. However, if the woman also said like this then ....

What am I supposed to do? Whahuh? Baby ... tell me, what should I do?

Alex is sitting on the side of Kinara's bed. His wife's face was as pale as antique porcelain buried for hundreds of years. He did not dare to hold his wife's body, even if it was only his fingers. That woman looks so fragile. It was as if he would turn into a flake of ash if touched.

"Baby .. I know I'm not a good husband, but don't punish me like this. I beg ...."

Alex's voice sounded like the wind in the autumn, languishing and lonely. His shoulders that were always firm and firm now drooped and trembled slowly. Water drops splashed on the floor. His knuckles turned white as they gripped the edge of the bed very firmly, as if to pull his wife's soul back from the darkness.

"I beg you, Baby .. open your eyes ...."

The sound of a weak baby crying from inside the incubator made Alex's heart throb even more. They must be confused and lonely.

"Have you heard that, honey? Our baby is crying. They need you. Need you. Don't leave us. Okay?"

The vibration on Alex's shoulder is getting tighter. His voice turned hoarse and stingy. He took a deep breath, trying to inhale as much oxygen as possible to keep his consciousness awake. Stuffy. Be ill. His lungs and heart were slowly being destroyed from within.

"Tell me you'll wake up soon. I haven't taken you on vacation like I promised you last time. Not happy for you properly. Haven't had time to repay all your kindness ... Please, don't do this to me ...."

Doctor Daniella looked up to dispel the clear hairs that pooled in her eye patch. This kind of scenery has been seen very often, but. Then, as he looked back at the monitor screen, the look on his face changed in an instant.

"Call Ana's doctor," he orders one of the nurses standing nearby, then immediately runs to the side of Kinara's bed.

"I'm sorry, sir, please step aside" she asked Alex.

"What's going on?" ask Ana's doctor while scattering to her partner's side.

Injections.

More injections.

A series of sentences not understood.

Commandments and shouting.

Alex stood in the corner of the room, staring at all the chaos in front of him without blinking. However, as the static sound of the machine rang out high, it screamed and rampaged uncontrollably.

"Cinara Lee! Wake me! You can't leave! I won't let you go! You hear me?! Wake up! Get up!" he screamed beside his wife's bed.

"Mr ...."

Doctor Daniella tries to calm Alex down, but the man pushes her to the brink. Billy barges in and is about to hug Alex, but the man kicks him into a wall.

"Baby, Baby .. open your eyes, I'm here. I'm really begging you, open your eyes and look at me. Lookatme. Okay well? Please .... one time only, Baby .. only one time ... see me. Don't punish me like this ...."

Alex continued to rummage and shake Kinara's body, but his wife remained silent. He lowered his head and kissed Kinara's face, smelling her cotton-pale lips, but the woman did not respond as usual.

"Don't touch it!" alex jolts when he sees Ana's doctor approaching.

"My wife is just sleeping. She must be exhausted from giving birth to our baby. Let her rest" she continued, stroking Kinara's hair, "You're gonna wake up, aren't you, Baby? You promised to be mine forever. You have ... oh, what are you doing?"

Alex turned his head quickly when he felt something sting his right arm.

"I'm sorry, sir," said Dr. Daniella with a regretful look.

Alex was just about to go berserk at the woman, but suddenly his head felt heavy.

"What did you do to me?" his sizzle with anger.

"It's for your own good" replied Dr. Daniella.

With sprightly Billy moves quickly and catches Alex's limp body.

"Billy, don't let anyone touch my wife" Alex said before completely losing consciousness.

The sun was shining warmly, evaporating the dew on the tops of the pine trees. Alex enjoyed everything with his eyes closed. He spread his arms wide and breathed as much air as his lungs could hold.

"You're right, Baby .. The scent of leaves and wet soil due to dew is very soothing," Alex murmured without opening his eyes.

Kinara smiled widely and stroked her husband's hair affectionately. His face was glowing in the reflection of the morning sunlight. He lowered his head and landed a light kiss.

"I love you" she whispered.

"I love you too, Baby."

Alex smiled gently and opened his eyes. His wife's shadow evaporates with the morning dew. A large bouquet of red roses he placed on top of the tomb covered in black marble.

"Happy anniversary, Baby," he murmured again as he rubbed the surface of the headstone affectionately, "Time goes very fast .. and I'm still lonely."

"Look, there's Aslan, Aaron, and Amber who always comfort me when I start missing you. They're getting chatty, just like you. And .. oh, they've started learning to walk. If you were here, Baby ...."

Alex sighed softly and looked at the sky that stretched wide above his head.

"Isn't this a little unfair, honey? I still miss you all the time, but you don't miss me anymore" he said, closing his eyes, trying to bring back his wife's image in memory.

"Baby, sometimes I miss you so much. So long I feel like I'd like to catch up with you .. but who's gonna take care of and raise our kids?"

Alex took his eyes off. He crouched down next to his wife's grave and continued saying, "You don't worry, I'll take good care of them."

He nodded slowly as his eyes began to heat up. Sometimes, he thought and wondered: if in the past, after the events in Minnesota he immediately recognized Kinara, would everything still end like this?

Unfortunately, what has happened will never be repeated, right?

"Baby, in the next life .. I will not let you go. I will look for you and make you so happy that you will never think of leaving me again. You hear that, Baby? Wait me. Okay?"

The sunlight warms, illuminating the pine forest in the backyard of The Spring Mountains, where Alex has set out as his resting place on the side of Kinara.

But for now, the journey is still very long. There were three little babies waiting for him at home, his most precious treasure, the relic of the woman he loved the most. The only woman he has loved in his entire life. And it will stay that way until his next life.
