“Soaring!” raymond yelled, deliberately hitting Billy's arm hard.
Billy who did not expect to get a sudden attack was almost stumbled on the door. If it wasn't for him holding on tight, it would have been thrown backwards.
This fucking kid!
“Stop!” Billy reached out to block Raymond's collar.
With the same rapid movement, Raymond twitched and pressed the base of Billy's neck very strongly. The strength he used was like he was facing his mortal enemy. There was no longer any sense of disdain or respect, nor any cautious attitude in his actions.
“I respect you because of your relationship with Lorie and Kinara, the rest is non-existent. I don't owe you anything, so don't force me.”
After uttering that suppressive sentence and killing aura, Raymond pushed Billy aside and stepped forward. Even Alex who stood up and looked at him sharply was not heeded. He just walked straight up to Lorie's bed and stopped about two steps by the woman's side.
Lorie who had heard all the commotion outside remained lying quietly and did not turn her head at all. His mind was occupied by something else. Alex Smith had just told him that the person who hit him was paid by Alice. The old woman was desperate and did that crazy thing for the sake of her son who was entangled in a drug case. Such a case would cost how much money, Lorie knew clearly. Therefore, he was also not surprised anymore.
Next to him, Raymond who saw Lorie's condition was more stable and calm than before finally exhaled slowly. All his anger had already shrunk by half.
No. gabe. It seemed like all of his anger was exhausted completely. He just stood there and looked at Lorie with a gentle look, there was also a glimmer of sadness in the reflection of light in his eyes. All the questions he had prepared to ask suddenly disappeared. He felt a bit choked and at a loss for words.
In the end, Raymond could only open his mouth and ask softly, “Do you hate me?”
Lorie kept daydreaming, as if not not hearing the question addressed to her. It was as if he was immersed in his thoughts. His eyes stared straight at the ceiling, while his lips twitched silently. From the look on his face, it looked like he was counting something.
Raymond swallowed his saliva which felt like a chunk of stone. He was about to step forward in order to get closer to Lorie, but Doctor Ana who was standing by his side immediately stared intently.
Raymond's jaw is hardened. His emotions were re-ignited to see the behavior of people around Lorie who seemed to be protecting, but in fact they were actually plunging Lorie. How could this matter be resolved if they did not help him to correct the misunderstanding between himself and the woman?
“What else to talk about?” sindir Doctrine of Ana. “He doesn't want to meet you.”
“Want or not, let him say it himself.” Raymond insisted and stood there. “This misunderstanding has been protracted. That said, since you guys keep blocking me from meeting him, then it can come to a stage like this.”
“You!” Billy jumped to Raymond's side.
“Still dare to blame us?!” he charged with emotion.
Raymond sneered.
“Then not?” his reply. “At first it was my fault. I want to fix it but you guys are acting like an unreasonable hen, protecting her as if I'm going to eat her alive.”
Despite feeling that it had a point, Billy remained stubborn and replied, “If from the beginning you could hold a useless object between your thighs, would Lorie be hurt like now?”
“That's my son too! You think I'm not hurt?” Raymond rampaging. “Try saying, what will you do if I hide your wife without you knowing she is pregnant, then suddenly I look for you and tell you ‘Oh, sorry, your son is no more. Your wife was pregnant, but not anymore. She miscarried. It's your fault!’. You shit!”
Raymond let out a long sigh and again exclaimed, “You didn't even have time to touch your daughter who was in your wife's stomach, didn't have time to talk to her, didn't have time to hear her heartbeat. Will you be willing?! Aren't you going to blame me?!”
Silent.
A long silence ....
