Substitute Bride For Young Master

Substitute Bride For Young Master
Chapter 60's

Nine hours of flight made Raymond a little fuss. He could not sleep at all even though his eyes felt heavy and a little. Since two days ago, he was unable to sleep even though he had forced to close his eyes. His brain can not be invited to cooperate, keep thinking and thinking until his head is almost billowing smoke because of overload.

The pressure from his parents made Raymond decide to follow Alice to Italy. The issue between them could not be discussed just by phone or text message. That's why he's been at Malpensa international airport in Milan this early.

The wind blew quite fiercely as the man walked out the arrival door. Although still at the end of summer, but extreme weather changes make Raymond sneeze several times. He approached the airport taxi in front of the *arrival gate* and asked the driver to drive him to Bergamo City.

Along the way, Raymond was busy composing the sentences in his head. What should he say when he meets Alice? Apologizing? But, obviously he did nothing wrong.

The man sighed and closed his eyes. Her parents disapproved of her relationship with Alice because her profession as a model was considered inappropriate to be part of the Dawson family.

However, ever since Alice decided to quit her job in order to marry Raymond, her parents changed their attitude and spoiled the woman. They assume Alice is a submissive woman who is willing to sacrifice her career for the sake of family. Unfortunately, now Raymond himself is increasingly confused by his feelings.

“Do you want to pass the toll road, Sir?” ask the driver.

“Terupon course, the important thing can be faster until,” replied Raymond.

“Good.”

The driver turned the wheel into a shortcut he had memorized based on his years of driving experience. Raymong stared at the clock on his wrist at a glance. At four in the morning. He sighed softly and looked out the window.

Street lights seem to run fast, stacking up with oak trees on the sidewalk. Closer to Alice's house, Raymond's heart seemed to lose its rhythm, its hull churned with nausea. His head throbbed so much that his eyes darkened a little.

Raymond patted the back of the driver's seat while saying, “Stop for a moment, Sir.”

The surprised driver immediately pulled the car over to the side of the road. As soon as the car slowed down, Raymond pulled the door handle and darted out. He clung to a chestnut tree, then lowered his head and vomited violently. The man vomited until he choked a few times. His breathing was stingy when his entire stomach had been spilled into the bushes under the tree.

“You are fine, Sir?” ask the driver who approached Raymond while carrying a bottle of mineral water.

Raymond's whole face was red. He received the bottle of water and drank the contents of a few sips. After that wash his face and splash the remaining water into the bushes.

God fucking. What the hell's going on?

The man walked absentmindedly back to the car and leaned back while closing his eyes. Why did such an ungodly taste suddenly appear and torment him like this?

The driver who got into the car glanced at Raymond and asked carefully, “You sure you're okay, sir? Need me to take you to the hospital?”

“No need. Just walk, soon to.”

“Good.”

The old man drove his car again to clear the still empty streets. Every now and then he peeked out of the mirror above the dashboard to make sure that the passengers were okay. Fortunately, the man did not vomit again.

Raymond straightens his body as the car enters the elite residential area where Alice lives. The closer to it, Raymond's heart was beating irregularly. He still does not know what to say to his fiancee later.

A tall oak tree towering in front of the cream-painted house and ivory white looked calm and shady, in stark contrast to Raymond's current head contents.

The existence of a white Cadillac car in the yard of the house made Raymond ask the driver to stop about ten meters from the oak tree. For as long as he knew, Alice did not have a car of that type, nor did her parents, nor did anyone have a Cadilac.

After paying the taxi fee, Raymond walked very slowly towards Alice's house. The patio lights emitted a golden light, shining a pair of black pantofel shoes at the end of the stairs quite clearly.

Pain stabs up to the heart. Raymond could guess what was going on, but also tried to deny it with all his might. His mouth felt dry and his brain was suddenly empty.

He was unable to face what might be revealed any moment later. It made him just stare at the door like a fool.
