Lorie had to walk down the nearly seven-meter-long aisle to get to the corner connected to the main corridor. When it was almost at the end, a man came from the opposite direction in a hurry and hit him quite hard.
“Oh, geez, forgive me, Miss,” the man said as he helped get Lorie's bag down.
Lorie frowned looking at the man before her. It was the man that Rafael was whispering to as he entered the room earlier, the man who hurriedly left without saying anything. However, Lorie still thanked him before continuing her steps.
When she reached the stairs and was about to walk down, Lorie only realized that there was a small red spot on the back of her hand. He was pretty sure the red spots had not existed before.
Lorie rubbed the back of her hand and realized that it looked like a very small needle puncture mark. Instantly the alarm in his head went off loud. He reached into the suit and found his tracking device out of place. Looks like the guy who hit him earlier, he ....
“Oh, sorry!” lorie exclaimed as she almost nudged a waiter who was carrying a tray filled with drinks.
He nodded and nodded. Slowly but surely, his head felt heavier. The sky was already dark as he exited the Royal Club. He was stunned for a moment in the club courtyard and blinked again in a daze. It felt like there was a thin membrane that started to envelop his eyes so that his gaze slightly blurred. He reached into his phone and sent a short message to Alex to explain the situation briefly.
Lorie kept cursing in her heart. The bastards ... how dare ....
Pinched her own hand to maintain consciousness, Lorie walked towards the Amber Hotel. At the very least, he had to reach his court, so he more easily asked for a backup from the headquarters.
He walked down the roadside in a bit of haste, hoping his consciousness would still remain before reaching the hotel.
*A little more* ....
Lorie took a deep breath. Amber Hotel distance is getting closer.
However, while passing through the souvenir shop that was still parallel to the Royal Club, a homeless man appeared out of nowhere and stood right in front of Lorie. It was a blind spot where the light from the street light illumination was blocked by an acacia tree.
“Do not make a sound. Going there,” muttered the man while shaking his head towards the narrow and dark alley.
Due to the extremely close distance, Lorie could feel something pressing against her chest quite strongly, and she knew it was not something good. Therefore, he could only obey the man's words and go into the alley.
The man pressed Lorie against the wall and again threatened in a deep voice, “Do not make a sound, do not move .. If you do not want this dagger to tear your neck.”
Under the dim lighting, Lorie could still see the silvery luster that was under her chin, as well as the coldness that touched the base of her neck. With a very slow and careful movement, he winked as a sign that he would obey.
“Good,” murmured that man.
Lorie was almost out of breath, but she did not dare to carelessly move, the dagger was still stuck to her neck. Fortunately, not long after that the man who threatened him immediately released his hand, although his dagger-wielding hand was still directed at Lorie.
Lorie immediately inhaled as much air as possible and piled against the wall with her left hand. As he looked up and fixed his posture, it appeared that there were already three other men surrounding him. His eyes narrowed, trying to sharpen his vision that was shaded on the right side. Although faint, he still recognized the man ... the man who accidentally bumped into him in the hallway of the Royal Club!
“You!” Lorie hissed and clenched her hands tightly together. His eyes flashed like a cat that was ready to pull out claws to fight.
The man who was stared at in such a way by Lorie just chuckled softly and stepped closer and closer.
“Say once ... Mr Rafael—
“Ugh!” The man who had smothered Lorie screamed stifled and curled up on the asphalt that smelled of trash.
The man's body trembled violently. His hands stretched out to the chest, staring at the red and rancid liquid flowing from there with an expression of disbelief. He did not anticipate Lorie's sudden movements at all, robbing her of her dagger and thrusting it into her own chest.
“Bit*h!” swearing at the other man as Lorie swung her dagger at his neck. He quickly twitched, but Lorie kicked his kneecap so hard that the sound of cracking bones mixed with a muffled cry. With a lightning-fast motion, Lorie twisted the man's neck until it changed position by 180 degrees.
Lorie's breath roared like a storm. He stood up and slapped his own face so that his vision would become brighter and more focused.
There are two people left.
